Truly amazing! A best combo of nature & luxury at One place. Come here for complete relaxation & spend atleast 2 days only to enjoy hotel amenities as well as nature. Nature walk through the property is must do, which houses waterfalls & view points in itself. Driving into the property through clouds itself is an experience & must do in monsoon. Food is also delicious, especially breakfast. Only weak point is roads leading to the hotel, which is in bad condition & takes longer time to reach.

Brilliant place and makes for a fantastic vacation. This all-villa resort is simply magnificent all across. Plenty of activities for kids and adults alike, a brilliant spa, a fantastic pool, six restaurants in-house (with one of them serving organic food made ONLY made from house grown plants), a very helpful and ever smiling staff… The list is long… Well worth the extra money you spend. I have stayed at a couple of great resorts at Mauritius, Maldives and Bali, and this one comes very, very close — in fact even betters them in some respects. Beautiful resort!

Absolutely breathtakingly lovely. Great concept. Great views. Excellent villas very well designed and maintained. Food quality excellent although service is somewhat challenged. Room service is a disaster due to the distances. Some restaurants/bars have limited menus. Overall expensive but well worth it. Do not miss the hiking and activities.

It’s huge. 350 acres spread across unspoilt nature. Please take note that the approach roads are in very bad condition especially the last 5 km. They are also very narrow and sometimes with opposite traffic can be quite trying. Only Vila’s and no rooms. Overall experience is great.

(Late review) It was an amazing experience. Staff took care of each and every small detail. At the Bar Mr. Das attended us and let me confess he made us some amazing cocktails. I highly recommend “Das” if you want to taste something new + he was very polite and even extended his shift only to attend us. We also opted for privet dinner. They did the arrangement very well + we got exclusive menu prepared only for us. Our overall stay was fantastic. If you like to stay in luxury, Hilton is for you.

Beautiful location, lovely rooms, and great service. It's a huge 250+ acre property so be ready to walk quite a bit. But it's not a problem because it's a beautiful place to actually walk, cycle, and being active. There are tonnes of activities organized by the resort, so you will be never be bored. If you don't want to, it's fine too. There are multiple nano cars available to drive you around the property. I was surprised by the good quality and tasting food. I hate 5 star buffets in general, but was pleasantly surprised by the food here. The chef's use fresh produce and also grow organic veggies on the property (in the wild — how cool is that). I was happy to see the large range of salads that they have. Was loving the greens in every meal. The service is excellent. This place is worth the buck you pay.

Visited this place with my office team for a retreat and had an amazing time during the two days stay. My favourite and must go places in the resort is the infinity pool. The scenic view from the pool takes your breathe away especially the sunset. Also, the cuisine here is healthy and yum. Desserts are the highlights. In the night, walk through the estate with your friends and fall in love with the lights and darkness.

Hilton Shillim is a great resort to spend a weekend. The place is one with nature and you are encouraged to walk around. They have 350 acres of land for you to explore. If you choose not to, you can always take one of the several Tata Nanos that they operate across the estate. The staff is extremely courteous and the rooms are very nice. I would recommend going there in a large group as this place is better with company.

Bad, bad, bad service. In fact the worst service ever received, even a local 2 star hotel will provide better. Bad food, no flavor, not cooked well. Property highly overrated, below average infra. Rooms might be ok, we stayed at the forest villa, but asking for an emergency services takes Hilton half an hour to respond.

Plus points — up in the hills, totally among nature, peace and quiet. Huge campus, plenty of birds. Negatives — certainly not up to the Hilton standard. Faucets were leaking, lack of toiletries till one asks for, intercom wasn't working, the carpet was extremely dirty, no courtesy shown by having the car cleaned as it had to be parked out in the open for 3 days. No feedback taken on the services offered, be it the food, the stay, the facilities or even the very costly spa / massage services. Not one official asked us for a feedback. The fans were creaking noisily in the library. They could neither switch them off nor get them attended to. In short, we had a relaxing time at the resort, but certainly not our money's worth. More of a 2 to 3 star resort.

I booked Hilton shillim for my wife's birthday and she just loved it. The property is huge and easily would take two days to enjoy all activities. Best time to visit in winters and during light rains.

It used to be much better. Although the property is undeniably beautiful to another extent for Yoga and Nature lovers. Their services have slowed down a tad bit due to the rush of Sahara Aamby valley closing recently. The new staff is not yet fully trained but they'll get there. I'd still come here but hopefully it improves from now on even more. Worth a visit for couples looking for an elite detox time.

Reaching the property is quite boring, specially some 10-12 kms drive in non monsoon season. But, amidst nature lies the luxury. Great place to spend time in solidarity. The property is spread in roughly 300 acres of terrain, with nano car for internal commute. Villa's are very spacious and luxurious too. Trails are beautiful. Lot of places for n number of activities. Good plane for team outbound too. Foods served here are delectable, staffs are congenial too. You can see clear and starry sky at night, star gazing is also one of their inbound activity. To summarize it is a highly recommended property.

Horrible service, even 2 star properties have better staff. They delay serving food to the point you will say no, they don't keep tea bags or towels in your room, you will not get anything despite requesting, very rude and arrogant staff. Worst experience ever. You don't even get any view from your room as it's covered with thick bushes. You wonder why the heck u traveled so long and paid a bomb.

This is a vast smoke free costly 5 star property. Spa is good otherwise service is not upto the mark comparing its star rating. Complimentary breakfast is not at all good and never expected such. Rooms are good but not comparable with genuine star category property. Airport shuttle is there. Name does not depict actual pictures. Highly overpriced.

Very big resort spread over a mountain. Need 2 nights minimum if you want to explore the property in detail which is immensely spread out. The villa rooms are comfortable with big bathrooms ; however upkeep of the villas can definitely be improved ; room service ordered takes at-least 30-45 mins to be delivered to your room — so you need to be mentally prepared for the same ; a big area for improvement I must say; also anything you want in the room from housekeeping also takes some time to deliver — maybe this is a negative of a big property. We only had breakfast in the restaurant and the spread was sufficient. Service is courteous. There are Nano cars available to take you from one place to another and normally available at short notice. However the price tag attached is a bit steep compared to the experience that you get.

Looking for a romantic getaway, this is the only place which offer you all your needs built on the shillimb hill and surrounded by Goddess nature and the breathing views you just cannot miss place. Spread across 320 acres the beauty of this property cannot be defined in words, awarded with the world's best spa hotel now you can imagine the vibe of this place Villas are just huge enough to fit a family and the open air bathroom is the best thing I've ever seen. If you want to forget the polluted, busy and unhealthy city life for few days, this the the place where you should visit!

Your hotel was quite disappointing and definitely not at par with the kind of expectations I've developed for a 5-star hotel. Muddy hot water. Below average breakfast — no tea, no hot milk in the menu. Serving juices but no glasses available. Spread over a vast area but extremely poor car pick up service. Guests have to wait for a minimum of an hour to reach their destination. You request for an extra bed at 10 pm And they apologitically reach your room by 12:30 am. Simply, a waste of time. It isn't a wellness centre as they mentally torture you more with their worst services. Would not recommend to anyone.

Perfect place to visit for a peaceful and serene vacation. Villas are very well maintained and staffs are friendly and courteous. Must visit place for people who want to spend time just with their loved ones and away from the city life.

It's a good place to spend your weekend, in the serenity of nature and with all the scenic views it adds up to the overall experience.

A beautiful Property by Hilton. The roads to the resort are decent enough; and once you reach, you are transported to a beautiful world altogether. Good arrangements, interesting activities and an amazing spa experience is all one needs for the perfect weekend. Good!

Excellent property. Highly Recommended for family and children. Guest services are high quality. Food is good and healthy. There is no over load of sugar and spices the way it is done in many other hotels. Choices of restaurants gives you enough options to try out if you are staying for a longer period. Choices of activities to keep you engaged – Pottery, treks, Walks, Painting.   Watch outs: 1. Not friendly for elders or those who require wheelchair assistance. Moving between the villa and restaurants  other points takes time and you need to depend on the internal shuttle services (Nano Cars) 2. If you are planning a large family gathering/company events etc. – remember the individual villas are spread in a large area. You can’t walk to another one because if the distance. Meeting others will ideally happen only in common area like restaurants, Shillim Institute etc 3. If you are paying by another currency credit card check the foreign exchange rates. I was charged the lowest ever exchange by any India based vendor and no cleat explanation provided. Pay in Indian Rupee to avoid overpayment in foreign currency.

Over 300 acres of forest goodness with the luxury of Hilton's hospitality. It doesn't get any better than this.

The closest to heaven… This place is by far the most beautiful resort I've been to. Of course it's a bit expensive but believe me it's worth every penny The rooms are spacious and cozy with bathrooms as big as the rooms. The staff is sooooo polite u would be amazed. Everything is at the click of a button. There's an infinity pool and the river walk (during the rains) is a must do The yoga in the dome is a one of its kind experience & while the restaurants are a bit expensive u will completely enjoy the food A complete must visit (already been there thrice in 3 years)

Why have you mentioned the contact number if you dont want to answer the call? And why have you put up a website if you dont wish to do business. How do we plan anything or get in touch with the management. Waste of Time.

We checked in at 6 don't know the time roughly around that time staff was gr8 food was good but the services given by them were pathetic could not believe a brand such as Hilton would have such poor services it literally took 2 hours for them to provide 2 sandwiches which were not even worth what they were charging but some how we got our sandwiches after two hours and then we ordered some glasses and ice bucket which again took an hour to come Is this the service what Hilton provides after paying a huge amount for the villa car service during checkout again took another 1 hour to come THOUGH THE BILLING WAS DONE QUICKLY terrible to even know this is the way they treat their guest and would not suggest it to any one to use this property cause it's not worth even half the amount what u pay for the villas.

Nice getaway from Bombay. Scenery is stunning. Food at the restaurant in the spa building and the poolside is superb, as well as the complementary morning yoga sessions. Service is fantastic. Spa massages were superb. However, the room quality and workmanship is lacking… Things are falling apart, the couch covers look questionable clean. Note: children are not allowed in several places (particularly, their best restaurant — the one at the spa)

The location is great and the rooms are perfect but the property is too big because of which moving around is time consuming. You cannot take your cars in. They send their cars to you if you want to go from one place to another. Waiting for the car to come wasted a lot of our time. We also saw a venomous pit viper just outside our room on one of the nights.

Those who love solitude and want to go away from everything for some time, this is the place to go! Near to mumbai yet away from all the noise of urban life… Great for experiencing solitude!

Visited on 20/12/2015, for a Dealer meet of a big Company. Location is too good, food is also very good, rooms are very neat and clean, ground staff and restaurant staff is very good, but front desk and support staff need training. They don't have passion to listen the customers. Got room at 4.45 pm, but due to poor management skill of front desk, I got luggage to my room at 5.45 that also after 6-7 calls. They can't handle a group of 50-55 peoples. Ashok Patawari, Mumbai,

We went driving to check this place out. We thought we might want to spend the night there. However, the staff said we could only see the villa if we first commit to pay INR 18, 000. I asked what if we don't like it later… they smiled a silly smile… and said you will surely like it! Then I asked if we could use the restaurant for tea/coffe/snacks… they said it was only for residents and we could use it only if we agree to pay INR3, 000 per person for coffee… we thanked them… they will be out of business very soon.
