I wont rate 5 star but 4 star for the pros points as mentioned below and yes we can not term this as resort as there are no activities provided by the hotel. Pros: The rooms are good, the room service is good as well. Free parking outside hotel, the small kitchen is fully equipped. Location is very good, all the places are easily approachable. Cons They provide free cycles which are in such a poor state. They should improve on this. no other activities within the campus, you have to pay outside for all the activities. complimentary swimming and gym at Dasvino club. But the swimming pool is not cleaned since last few months and you can see dirty floor of the pool. So no use of that.

Well located apartments with all necessary setup for kitchen. The staff is really courteous and well trained. Studio Apartment can easily accomodate 4 (additional guest charges applicable) What's missing-wish there were some indoor activities for kids especially in monsoon. The Hotel does have tie up with Dasvino and few others but very limited aminities and mostly under maintained.

If you visit Lavasa, this place is the best for staying in and enjoying the services. It offers a wonderful view of the lake! And also provides better services.

Well maintained. Had booked a one bedroom and the bedroom turned out to be smaller than expected but nevertheless good. Advantage of the location is that it's got a bunch of food choices around. Might be a tad pricey but few others had got it for lesser. Probably also season dependent. Staff are helpful and accommodating. Breakfast felt like a mini event with outdoor service. Was quite nice and the kids loved it. However, the lack of maintenance, and negligence of the surroundings, diminishes the experience slightly. Swimming pool usage is complimentary however one has to travel across to another building where whatever is left of a spa is located. No food or any other services available. Got to carry your own towels and return them too. But nonetheless it's a good place to stay for a night or two.

It is the best location of the hotel. One of the best hotel of lavasa. It is mainly students view of the hotel, the room is large and spacious. It is awesome of the breakfast.

Stayed at this place for 2 days. Excellent service. Good food choices around. It is always enjoyable to be part of Lavasa trip. We enjoyed the clean rooms. This is an expensive hotel but service is at par.

It was an excellent experience at The Waterfront Shaw Lavasa. Hospitality was very good. Staff was very caring and co-operative. Breakfast was really nice. Rooms were very spacious & clean. Enjoyed staying at this place. Good time spent with family. We would love to visit this place again when the lake is full of water.

One of the best hotel in lavasa for students group visit… Very very nice bedrooms and very nice location and very nice atmosphere of the hotel… Less expensive hotel for the common people like us… Very nice and very good behavior of stuff to the guests… Nice quality food available here… Best room service also provided… The problem is that the rooms provide at the corner and you have to walk to the restaurant… Hotel provide free bicycle riding for the consumers… Laundry service is also available… Hotel has very good view that feel us we are in foreign street… Very nice, different and unique experience…

Perfectly located hotel with the mountains and the lake to please your eyes from the room balcony of you go for the mountain view apartment. They have several restaurants and cafes right at the hotel walkway. Reception is welcoming and staff courteous. Rooms are clean however somehow outdated and bathroom needs maintaince. Although it doesnt interfere with one's comfort. Breakfast buffet is amazing in the cozy American Diner. They were playing good selection of music and the breakfast was delicious. Overall an excellent stay.

I got one of the best deal from online app. This hotel has wonderful rooms. Breath taking views. And please book the property with breakfast. As the breakfast cost is 800/ — per head. The breakfast is awesome in waterfront Shaw. The ommelete is the main highlight. Fresh juice. U can cook food in room as the rooms are equipped with all necessary fittings.

Rooms are tiny. Food is good. One part of hotel has no lift. You have to go through narrow staircase. Room service is ok.

Try weekdays, hotel generally offers discounts and is cheaper. Amenities: quite good for a small place. Internet/Wi-Fi speed is not very good. Cycles provided are bad. Rest of the amenities are good. Food: has multiple restaurants for different palates.

Room was smaller than what it looked in the pictures. Bed felt a little uncomfortable to sleep in. Air conditioning kept giving an issue. Food was quite decent. Service was very good.

Its an amazing place for visiting with family and friends. The service apartments are large and have all the amenities that one would need. Below are restaurants like American Diner, and others serving Pizza, Lebanese, Mughlai, etc. Lavasa, itself is worth visiting. Would recommend this place to stay in Lavasa, as its in the middle of all the action.

This place is good for a weekend getaway. Offers many fun filled activities with nice restaurants and service. The staff is very helpful. One bad experience, be prepared to stay in a mobile-network free zone for the amount of days you spend here.

It was my anniversary and this hotel made sure that we had a good one. They decorated our room, arranged complimentary cake for us at mid night… so we are just glad to chose this hotel. Secondly pros about this property, Location is great, rooms are great and clean (I loved the kitchen too), staff is very helpful, polite, restaurants are very nice inc the buffet breakfast. One small but important thing, they gave us drinking water bottles during our check out as we were travelling and we would be needing it. That was pretty sweet as I stayed in quite a few hotels that week but it was only hotel to come up with this gesture which was very kind. So thumbs up from my side definitely.

Stunning service apartments, huge, clean, well maintained and well serviced. The biggest plus is that it's well located, right at the center of a activities and above the main promenade. Breakfast is served at the only all American diner besides the one in delhi. You may find better deals on makemytrip or something so booking through third parties might be cheaper.

It is a good place and the concept is like Europe. There is a lake, which is surrounded by buildings. Once should visit with a good company.

I have just checked into the hotel today, i. E. 19-10-2017. I have booked myself with my wife and my two pets for three nights in the one bedroom suite. To start off with I had paid for the promenade facing room but the hotel had no details about the same. I luckily had the booking details on the phone… the first room given to us had leakages all over… the wc was leaking, the flush valve was leaking… got them to change us to another room which had a lot of flying ants and insects in the bedroom… this is for 8000/ — night? Are you kidding me?. We were made to pay 500/ — for the parking and we're told that lavasa is an environment conscious zone… and people are here bursting crackers, polluting the air… it's a joke for a place… not worth it… pure waste of both time and money… bad way to celebrate my 40th birthday and Diwali… pathetic! Saket Ojha.

Rooms were OK. Services were good. Though the cleanliness is debatable as we found a cockroach in the room. Otherwise if you are lazy enough you nay use the indoor dining facility. I would suggest you go out and eat, its not far at all. Also the indoor dining prices are different than what the restaurant actually qoutes. Overall, an OK experience.

The Waterfront Shaw is lined with lot of differently themed restaurants (all managed by them). We loved the decor, especially the decor of the All American Diner! However​, the food was average and overpriced. The latter is arguably justified at a tourist place like Lavasa.

The rooms are very good for the price paid and well maintained. However the food outlets ain't that great there. The food outlets should have more zeal to work with passion and not seem laxed and lazy. Overall I feel that Lavasa should introduce more activities for people as nothing much to do beyond a day there. Waterfront all by itself is a good place to relax and had good breakfast too.

The Waterfront Shaw is the place to be if you are at Lavasa. Best location, best food & the most important thing is their service. Wow, they can go to any length to keep their guest happy. Right from reception to room service to the bell boys, they are always there to help. For food, it was good but I suggest some more Indian/mughlai Chicken gravies are added to the menu, there are just 2 chicken gravies of which one consists brandy. I missed BUTTER CHICKEN a lot, if the management is listening then please please do something for this.
Their breakfast is one of the best breakfast I've had. They have idli chutney, masala uttappa, upma, cereals, fresh fruits, juice, chole bhature & sausages! Just loved it, no changes needed here. I would definitely recommend this to everyone, you'll be floored by their hospitality. PS — They also have XBOX which sadly I didn't got as some other guest was already using. So ask for it well in advance.

Very good place to stay with family or friends. We are a family of 3 and the 1 BHK apartment was perfect. Nice, spacious apartments with complimentary Wi-Fi. Very courteous and polite staff. The multitude of restaurants and takeout joints are the biggest reason to stay here. Impeccable, authentic and delectable food. Thumbs up to the whole staff.
