Heritage property, Nice rooms and bathrooms, Haven't had food in the hotel. So can't say anything about it. The place is congested much. But the place is fine.

A stylish bungalow that is one of the heritage buildings of the great city of Ahmedabad, used to be the home of the Divans of Radhanpur, a princely state of Gujarat, whose nawabs were from the Babi dynasty. Impeccably maintained and decorated as you would expect from Architect IM Kadri’s immediate family, the bungalow lies on the axis between new and old Ahmedabad. All places of tourist interest, shopping and sightseeing are within a short radius. The road outside is wide and well-kept and the staff very helpful. The lady who runs the trust is the real treasure of the Divan’s Bungalow. Do eat at least one meal here and experience the food of the Divan’s family.

Great to experience the originality of the place, however the Bhoot Bangla effect seems to creep up on you at night. The sombre and serious staff add to the bhoot effect. Full marks for the maintenance effort.

Just checked out of the hotel. Tha ambience is very good. It realy gives you the feel of haveli (compliments the name). Surprisingly its a location for shoit of many movies and shows. During my stay a shooting for upcoming TV series KHAUF on colours was undergoing. I enjoyes my stay due to this x-factor. Also movie RAEES is shooted here. Pros : great ambience classic giant rooms old is gold feel diwans and maharjas style living near to riverfront, railway station and many good restaurants cons : located in old amdavad. You may feel conjusted street location you may feel disturbed in case some shoot is under going inexperienced caretakers.

In love with diwan house and its management… The Manager, Mr Pankaj is very welcoming in nature and very co-operative… they have very well maintained the mansion. We had our pre wedding photoshoot and it turned out to be the best…

At times I really wonder if people are aware of this Heritage Property in the Heart of Ahmedabad… Divan's Bungalow at Raikhad is one such place which has probably gone unnoticed (atleast I presume) … If you are planning to stay in the centre of the city but also want peace of mind then this is the place you should book… Overhead that they are planning a traditional café here… I wish them luck and wish to be one of the first ones to visit the Café Lunch and Dinner is also served here for a group of 10-15 persons but you need to book it a couple of days in advance so that you can relish the original recipes!

One of the oldest, historical and prominnat landmark in the Raikhad area. It is well maintained structure surrounded by residential area.

Place qith highly conjusted area.

150-year old building. We had a room with a terrasse and a living room for 75$ a night. Friendly and helpful staff. We had an excellent dinner in a private room. This is not a luxury hotel but what can you ask for more for 75$? This is all about charm, hospitality and heritage.

Will say the only issue with the property is it's location … Other than that it's pretty decent… though would not rate it a 4 star property.

It was a wonderful experience to be here. Right from the food to the quality of service to the ambiance, everything was just perfect to spend a quite evening with my family. Awesome food, courteous staff and very well maintained ancestral house, beautiful rooms which distinctly told the history of its dwellers… A must visit place in Ahmedabad.
