Very good accommodation. Small and cosy swimming pool. Nice hospitality by all staff members. No lunch and dinner available at the stay though. Other than that everything else is nice.

I don't need to share any photos of this place what ever you see online is what you get there… small place but well maintained… rooms clean n up to the mark… with a swimming pool n jacuzzi. You can't carry pets or smoke in the rooms is their policy… but closer to calangute beach… spent their 2 nights n a day… lovely experience. Would love to visit again. The breakfast menu is simple but delicious.

The best experience! The staff was very courteous and helpful, the room was very nice and very clean. It is a very well maintained property! I would definitely recommend staying at Lar Amorosa when in Goa.

We had a wonderful time at Lar Amorosa. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the place was beautiful. We had booked the entire place for our group of 27 people. On requesting the hosts, they also arranged a bonfire for us. I'd definitely recommend Lar Amorosa if you're looking for a place to stay around Siligao.

We had the most comfortable stay at this beautiful boutique hotel. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We got to relax in the pool, had amazing breakfast everyday. Plus the location is as such that we could easily drive to any place from the this point. Will definitely recommend!

Hands down the best boutique hotel experience I've had, better than staying at any big five star resort. This place makes you feel like you're home, when the owner him self asks you "what do you want for breakfast" or "I've made ginger tea, do you want some? ". The owner always being there to help played big factor in making my stay at Lar Amorosa very pleasant. The line attention to detail comes at light at this hotel, everything from the extensive collection of wood sculptures to the special paints on the wall and the sound of a high end piano contribute to this. The hotel has invested a lot of money on having the best facilities as well like a very high quality china and silverware to having a very expensive music system. This shows that they hotel really focuses on the quality of your stay!

I come to goa very often and experiment with my stay all the time. Lar Amorosa is definitely my top picks. The place is stunning, small, Portuguese Goan feel, very well maintained. A quiet cosy place with an awesome staff and the way the old Portuguese bungalow is retained but given the latest comforts in terms of bathroom and bedroom interiors.

Stayed at Lar amarosa for 4 nights with my family. This was our first visit to Goa and we were made to feel at Home by the staff at Lar Amarosa. Juliet was very helpful in sharing local tips and helped us plan out trip during the short stay. The personal touch of the owners can be seen in the design of the Hotel and the attention to detail. They are there everyday to ensure that nothing is missed in serving their guests and making their guests feel welcome. When I come back next to Goa there is no other place that I am going to stay other than Lar Amarosa.

Was in goa on a very short 18 day vacation and stayed at Lar Amorosa twice! When I first visited for my best friends bachelorette night stay I was mesmerized by the beauty of this Portuguese style boutique B&B and the service was outstanding! I returned with my family soon after. Have stayed in the cottage by the pool both times. Will surely return on my next vacation.

Well, my stay at the hotel was just perfect! It totally exceeded my expectations. I stayed at the LAR AMOROSA Boutique B&B in goa. Built in 1934, this beloved art deco icon is the ultimate in understated luxury. The hotel has kept elements of real old goan charm — wooden panelled roof, vintage furniture — but spruced up interiors complete the timeless picture. While the hotel is blessed by nature with the views it is able to offer, it can take full credit for everything else especially the service we received from the staff. A special thank you to Mr Dominic and Collins Mascarenhas (the owner) and juliet for their consistent friendly and helpful attitude. I would also like to thank Ms Maria Goretti for putting together a lovely breakfast every morning. It was amazing. The color scheme is pleasant and the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to my family and me. All respect to Mr Mascarenhas who did a great job here. We loved it! We stayed in the cottage by the pool. The place is lovely and the interiors have a nice posh Portuguese touch to it. Looking for a comfortable stay with proximity to the beaches in North goa… This is a very good option! The owners are very nice and helpful too. For more information check out their website.

From reception to the back area in the jungle, this place will soothe your senses. When they say Portuguese stay — they mean it. Staff is warm and always there to serve you with whatever you need, may it be suggestions or laundry. Definitely worth giving a shot.

We stayed in one of the family rooms. Rooms are tastefully done + very comfortable. Just loved the house and the warmth of the hosts. Had some great conversation with tall n smart Dominic and beautiful Juliet! The staff was very helpful with baby food cooking. Place is very well located. Close to saligao, candolim, panjim… near by are some good restaurants… overall an amazing experience.

Excellent hotel of this class… newer property and kept extremely clean. Front desk staff Juliet is very friendly and welcoming. Fell in love with Portuguese interiors and I had my wedding photo shoot done on Dec 2 and the CEO Mr Collin made perfect arrangement on my wedding day to make sure everything went well. Lar Amorosa one of the best in a north Goa I have experienced.

A quaint Portuguese villa turned into an amazing boutique B&B, loved every bit of this wonderful place, tastefully decorated, every detail looked into while designing the room and its amenities, its in the interiors hence, very calm, peaceful property, staff is very courteous, and very hospitable. They have breakfast inlcuded in their charges, which is a good spread of Indian and Continental. Close proximity to all the touristy areas and yet away from the buzzing crowd. I would recommend to stay here. Eyes closed. No doubts. Enjoyed my weekend here.

One of the best luxury villa in goa. You get the feel of a goan house with portuguese culture blended in it. The villa has a separate pool which is well maintained. Love the interiors of the place. A nice place for corporates to have their meetings.

I stayed at lar amorosa from 7th-11th Feb and it was one of the highlights of trip. The hotel is exactly as shown in the pictures. It is a typical, quintessential Portuguese style hotel. The rooms have antique style furniture which gives you a feeling that you are staying at an ancestral home rather than hotel.
We wanted to be away from the crowded area and still near to all the hotspots of North Goa, and lar amorosa perfectly fulfilled this requirement. The hotel is 20-25 mins bike ride away from Panjim as well as Calangute beach, so we could still party and come back to hotel for some peace and quiet.
The staff and owners are really helpful. It was our anniversary and they made it really special by surprising us with room decorations and a gift…

Wonderful hotel n people… Best place to stay in Goa. I would love to stay again in dis hotel.

I was told that no hotel (at least in India) can turn away someone if they wanted to use the restroom. Here the staff shut the glass door on my face! The hotel chap either hates women or Indians or Indian hotel rules or is simply a mean, horrible, horrible human being. Feel free to interpret my experience in Aug 2016 any way you think.

Superb place to stay. This place has everything what is needed in Goa. Very accommodative staff. Superb Goan architecture with all modern amenities. I would rate 5 star coz : — 1.
