Nice hotel, on the beach, best service by staff and manager, best food, we stay here four night nice atmosphere and we done three times food all day here.

Stayed in SSBH with family for five days. It’s was a great experience. It’s location, reception, staff, cleanness, rooms, cottage all n every thing r excellent. I recommend that visit at least once n find experience of five star facilities in small budget.

Average & economic stay in North Goa. Hotel is on bagga beach & beach is accessible from inside hotel in just 100-150 steps. Parking & approach road to hotel is very narrow, only 1 car can pass at a time. Amenities are ok, breakfast is free & they have shack on beach for food & drinks.

It seems resort is little bit old and had Wi-Fi problem… stayed for two days… food is ok, not upto the mark… no lift, no doorbells… I believe it is two star hotel… the best part of the resort is, it is very nearer to the baga beach, you can simply step down to beach from your rooms… beautiful swimming pool… good house keeping… if you want to stay nearer to beach, this is the best one.

Very good hotel, close to Baga beach. Has direct access to Baga beach from hotel. Rooms are spacious with excellent interior. Room service excellent. Breakfast was good. Only problem was mobile network not available inside room but u can use hotel Wi-Fi having decent speed. Approach road to hotel is very narrow. No sign boards until u reach hotel. Parking was sufficient.

Best and affordable near Baga beach.

3DAY ROYALLY RUINED! So in April 2017, me and my friend (girl) stayed at the Shining Sand Beach hotel. Day1 — We were greeted warmly by the manager (old man) and was showed our room. The Ac was not working, so he shifted us to another room. There was zero network. No phones calls. They again shifted us to another room, which had minimum network. Finally we rested! Day2 — We got a call early from the reception to vacate the room as it was not booked for us. We went down to the reception (a crazy loud lady) started yelling sir you have to vacate the room. We requested her to let us stay as my friends family would call and we required telephone network. She made a huge mess of the situation. Some how she let us stay for the day. Day3 — Again we were asked to vacate. Even though she had understood the issue with the hotel network. She forced my friend to see other rooms. My friend (girl) was taken to a room full of 4 — 5 men half naked and was told To use this room. This was out last day at the hotel. The receptionist lady created a huge scene for us. She yelled shouted and ruined our entire trip. Day4 — Check out… We did not touch the beverages in the mini bar. But thanks to the lady. She forced us to pay for a beverage we didn't even consume. We paid her an extra amount just so she could shut her mouth and let us leave in peace! We would never ever recommend anyone to stay in this place. One person can ruin such a lovely holiday was unbelieveable.

It's my 4th visit to North Goa… after long search I found it good, Location and price so decided to choose here I spent 3 nights there and following are my review Pros. Property is bang on beach Spacious room Service was also nice Lady at reception (always ready to help) Beach shack Cons Aproch to Hotel No mobile signal and no Wi-Fi Breakfast just one option a day Food is not upto the mark If you are planing to visit Goa in the month of November to February … this would be a nice option for bed and breakfast.

DO NOT STAY HERE! I booked at the Shining Sands Hotel April 11-13 2017 specifically because they were close to the beach and had Wi-Fi, as I was on a business trip. Upon arrival, the Wi-Fi did not work at all. I worked with reception for 30 minutes to an hour, but we could not get it to work and they noted that they didn't know if or when it would work, so I left the hotel after being there for no more than an hour and went to Hard Rock Hotel Goa (an AMAZING hotel). As of now (end of May 2017), the hotel will not refund any of my money (and I paid for three days) as they say I didn't tell reception about my problem. I would never stay here again as the hotel will literally steal your money when you pay advance but don't stay due to a problem. do not stay here!

I stayed there for 3 nights. The following are the best and the points they need to improve on Good staff. Very friendly and cooperative. Good food. Bf is a small menu but tasty. Rooms are big enough Toilets are neat. Beach is accessable easily as it's behind the property. Areas to improve Tata sky needs to have most of the channels. Toiletries needs to be improved. I suggest guest to carry their own. Water pressure needs to be good Wi-Fi needs to improve a lot. Over all a good experience so far.

Great location sandwiched between Baga and Calangute. Surprisingly quiet given its location. Beach is just 2 minute walk.

Great place. Good restaurants. Good reception. They take care of there guest. Connect to beach. Good resturant so if u like to get served @ beach or candle light dinner @ beach. You must stay. I stayed for 2 days and taking effort to write my review so that you can enjoy your time.

Hotel shining sand beach in Goa was a great experience. The staff is helpful, rooms are tidy, the environment is peaceful. Sea facing view is one of the best part. I was made to feel welcome from the moment I arrived and enjoyed my stay. Best hotel to stay.

For rooms cleaniness 5 star rating For the hotel staff 5 star (hope I could add more stars) For a family holiday best recommended property 5 star For swimming pool maintenence 5 star Shack is awesomely built 5 star But room service was not up to the mark, very slow. Need to look into. Will definitely again like for a family stay.

Huge inconvenience — we went on a tour of India and were planning to visit Goa near the end, while on the plane to India, 1 and half weeks prior to our booked visit to Shining Sand Beach hotel our reservation was cancelled via email. It was a great inconvenience as we had limited Wi-Fi and ended up paying double the price in a internet cafe which are not always secure. We visited the hotel during our visit anyhow to speak to the manager, and even though the staff were very friendly, the manger was not very helpful in explaining everything. Quite disappointment, but the hotel itself seemed OK; it is very tucked away tho, took us a while to find.

Actually superb place with low tariff. Ambiance, Staff, Food, everything seems to be perfect. Rooms are absolutely new and fresh. Must Go.

The place is good but its located too much in the interior. Your vehicle will never reach the place. The complimentary breakfast is really sad. We ordered lunch a couple of times & it was awesome, so I don't know why they not serving good breakfast. Rooms are good enough & the staff is great.

The location was very good… only 20 steps and you'll reach the beach. The food was very nice with varieties of dishes… the rooms were very clean. Loved it!

Perfect location, walk 100 m and you will be on the beach, amazing staff and nice sea view rooms, clean pool and bar & restaurant which serve superb sea food at very reasonable rates. Super like.
