One of the finest place to stay in goa. We enjoyed our stay at alagoa and really thanks to manager mr sherwin, who help us to make our stay very comfortable in south goa. Betalbatim is really nice place to stay. Food is also awsome and rooms are very comfortable, staff is also very friendly and welcoming, want come back here again and again…

The little Goan restaurant with Wonderful ambiance and lots of amenities!

Lovely peaceful place to enjoy your holidays, good food, well maintained swimming pool, game zone, great team of staff, even the owner himself takes keen interest in all tourists. Overall nice stay we had. Good place in south Goa.

Rooms are amazing and food is yummy.

One of the best resorts in South Goa. Such a lovely place, gr8 hospitality by the staff. When the owner of the resort came to know that we were there to celebrate our anniversary, he himself arranged for a cake and celebrated with us. And many thanks to the restaurant manager Mr. Desmond for his vast knowledge of mocktails, cocktails and other wonderful drinks.

Place is good and service is good as well. Pool is nice. Only minor issue is location. This is little isolated. Martin's corner is 15 min walk from here. Beach is at 10 min walking distance however the path is too narrow and you can't go once it darkens. Don't expect any shacks or shopping area in immediate vicinity.

This is a nice place, the staff is excellent and the owners manage the property well. We were well looked after and the staff ensured we were served well. Definitely would recommend this to a friend.

Very good place, optimum for everyone (couples, bachelors or family). Great pool area and amenities. Deluxe rooms and huts were great. 12km from margao railway station. You can cover North and South Goa both from here end to end. Food is good too at a reasonable price.

Other than d hotel food. This place is built for a peaceful n amazin stay… referring only to the cottage stay. No experience of their regular rooms.

June 2017 I checked in at cottage 113B in Ala Goa Resort, around 2:30am, I felt paranormal activities in my cottage like noise (not because of the wood), blank call followed by power cut, door got locked, toilet light suddenly dripped, etc. I had explainations to everything till I saw the light turning off in front of me… I was so scared that I jumped out of the window to call my friends from other cottages The moment they arrived, all sounds got mute, door got open. We called the reception to ask if they called but they didn't, neither did my frnds. Somehow, I managed to pass that day convincing myself that it's all my assumption… I tried to ask the owner n employees about it, but they resisted to talk about it. But next night same event happened again at 11:30pm. I left the room… It's a beautiful resort at reasonable tariff, food is good as well but I m sure there is something wrong with Cottage 113B.

Weekend getaway coudnt get better… the cottages are awesome…

If you are visiting goa and you should not stay at this hotel. Rooms are not up to the 2-star standard. You can upgrade your rooms to the cottage by paying 1000 Rs per day. Cottages are newly constructed and good neat and clean as well. Breakfast is complimentary but options for food and quality is very bad.

Location is good. Breakfast is worst. You pay some 4.5 to 5 k per day per room, but you are served just 1-2 dishes in breakfast without any choice, you will feel CHEATED.

Superb place. But be careful of the house keeping manager. He will charge for mini bar even if you have not used anything. So confirm all the things in the mini bar before check in.

Very good place and the location is awesome! It is located very close to betalbatim beach. Betalbatim beach is one of the best beaches in Goa (white sand beach). Also, it is one of the least crowded clean water beaches. The restaurant here is fine. Most of the guests here are foreigners (mainly Russian). The room is also well maintained and balcony gives the view of a lake. The staff is also good and can speak Hindi and Russian too.

Mid-level hotel, lived in a bungalow, in the afternoon sometimes disconnected electricity, TV stopped working, in the evening sometimes want to see, though only here the first channel, the Sun Knot less, in the shower cubicle, a hole in the floor was. You can live.

Clean, clean, even swans make of towels. Polite attitude.

Good location. There are rooms in the main building and wooden cabins for two rooms. The breakfast is very poor.

Good resort but even though we booked tickets in advance they sent us to another resort. The resort looks little old. Don't get fooled by photos.

The rooms have plasma but the canals are mostly Indian, the rooms have their own bathtubs and showers. Both the cottage and the hotel are located near the beach of Betalbatim. The food is delicious, breakfast is free and there is a swimming pool near the cottage and hotel.

If you like a peaceful stay, Alagoa is the perfect resort to stay! Well maintained property, friendly staff and nice options for authentic goan food in their restaurant. Quick Tip: Don't rent vehicles from outside the resort. You can get them at half the price from Margao main market.

Good size rooms, decent amenities, friendly staff. Location is good. Food quality is good (not great though). Staff are very helpful and friendly. Some rooms have been renovated (and they look pretty good), however, I had the unfortunate luck of staying in one of the older ones. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

Out from the city. Calm place to relax. No easy transport facility. Need your own vehicle or cab which is very expensive.

This resort is amidst coconut groves and one would fall in love with it instantly. The cottages are the best as its amidst fauna and close to the pool and poolside restaurant. Staffs are very cordial and hospitable. The restaurant offers variety of sea food. They have events like live music, karaoke, etc arranged three days a week for the guests. The resort is in a distance of 4 mins from Betalbatim beach. There's facility for medicinal spa as well. Over all a very pleasant stay at alagoa resort.

The resort location is easily accessible although at night the road to this place may feel desolated. The wooden cottages of Alagoa, I must say are one of the best in terms of cleanliness and ambience. The staff is also very responsive and courteous!

A cool place in south Goa near betalbatim beach. Cottages here are very nice. Very well maintained cottages with lush green surrounding. Their restaurant serves nice food at reasonable price.

This is very good resort surrounded by coconut tree near colva beach. Service is very very good. Restaurant service is very good they make very tasty food. Good job guys keep it up. I will come again.

One of The best places to stay in South Goa. A very cozy and comfortable stay with all amenities in place. The staffs were very cordial and one their toes to assist you. The fine bar by the poolside was an additional alluring thing about the resort. The beach is some 10 mins walk from the property. A very nice property. Recommended.

Good hotel with rooms and pool side cottages as well. Good room service. Cottages feel like home. Food is good but costly. They arrange for cars and bike to roam in the city but the quality of bike is bad. To find a petrol station around is difficult. The hotel is located in proximity to 2 beaches, 1 being walkable and the other one is 10 min drive.

Had spent 5 days at the resort. We had a wonderful time there. The resort is beautiful. The cottages are clean and well maintained. The staff is very co operative and well behaved. Specially the restaurant manager Mr Debbin who took care of each and every guest there, Mr Sherwin the owner of the property was always a call away for any kind of help… Only a little more variety of food should be added to the menu… If you know how to drive, I would suggest that you rent a car and drive around yourself. It would cost u about Rs. 1200/ — for the car. Just fill up the tank and go places… believe me it would cost u very less than taking a cab. Over all a great stay…

Hotel rooms are good specially cottages… restaurant food is costly and very strict to thier breakfast timing if 1 min late they charge for breakfast. Overall good experience.

I have never given a review yet. But I have stayed here THREE times. Last visit was in FEB/MARCH 2015. I just love it. I feel it is an escape from my busy life. Peaceful and away from it all. People who mention Wi-Fi… seriously people you are on holiday! Stay away from the internet. Soak up the sun. Stroll to the pool side or down to the beach. Drink cocktails. Socialise with the lovely locals. The staff are very accommodating. All you have to do is ask and they will do their utmost to meet your need. This Oasis is about relaxation. Of course its not 5 star. To me that does n`t matter. The beauty of my surroundings. The genuine care of the staff. A clean bed to lay my head at night. Decent food to fill my stomach and a ba with a good selection of drinks. Lots of wildlife to see. More than happy to be at ALAGOA. I love you guys and will be back as soon as I can with my fiance Mick. I think of you all every day. Its like home but a very hot one… Happy times. Xxx.

Far away from beach, non cooperative staff, rusty rooms, no free Wi-Fi as it is charged 120rs/hr, food prices are off the chart and taste is not so good. Transport and vehicles are rare. No basic facilities are available for city life so party going folks, stay away from here. In one word "you are your own"

The hotel is nice & very good for families. The hotel was good for the people who really want to rest for some days. Hotel has a swimming pool & restaurant next to it. Very bad hotel and staff is also very bad, hotel cannot give simple drinking water they charge it 30 rs. Lunch and dinner is not testy also. Breakfast is limited, no unlimited breakfast. Simpley no bucket in bathroom. Each and every atom is costly. Don't go anyone in this hotel.
