I visited this hotel between 26 — 29 December. Hotel property is good however unfortunately they have not maintained it at all. I was doubtful to book hotel reading the mixed reviews, however still went ahead with booking thinking it must be good hotel. But let me tell you, it was very bad experience. To name few examples- 1. After reaching hotel at 9 PM, they allotted me room which was freshly painted and paint was not dried. Then they assigned me another room. 2. Second room's wooden flooring was damaged, wash basin tap was not closing and room was at extreme end and passage light was not working. Once I asked for another room they said that room is not vacant and they will repair light and basin tap. I was not able to understand if they know that these things are not working why don't they repair it upfront and wait for customer to arrive and complain. 3. After I raised my concern to accept room they assigned me another room. Its many electrical fittings were loose and not in working condition, but I was tired of again going to another room so I chose to stay there. 4. Hot water in bathroom will come only if you are lucky, else you have depend on housekeeping teams mercy to get hot water bucket. 5. Cleanliness in room is only if you ask for. 6. Food and breakfast quality is below average and no sufficient space in restaurant to accommodate all guests. 7. Access road to hotel is bad. 8. They call it resort however it is very average hotel, so don't go by name while booking this hotel. 9. They have hired trainee staff. Hotel service is pathetic. 10. Absolutely not value for money. You get far better hotel for less price than these people charge. I will not recommend this hotel for anyone's memorable trip to Ooty.
