We stayed 5 days at the Park Hyatt and were so thrilled to choose this place. First of all, the hotel rooms are spacious and well planned. Next the room service and the concierge is amazing and helpful. They also helped me with transportation. But undoubtedly the star of the show is the buffet spread. My kids have voted it to be the best memory of Chennai, to wake up and head to the breakfast buffet. The spread was very good and tasty. Highly recommend Park Hyatt, you guys are awesome 👏🏽.

Not worth at all. No value for money. Food is not really good at all. Pay 100 Rs outside and have a better food instead of wating money on their cheapest buffet.

Had a great family time. It’s a pet friendly hotel, hence we were able to take our four legged furry daughter. The staffs were friendly and ensured to provide the best of the service every time. Park Hyatt is highly recommended.

We took a staycation here for my doggie's birthday. They're a pet-friendly hotel and treat their four-legged guests with love and respect. He even had a bowl and a bed ready for him in the room!
The staff was extremely helpful and the breakfast spread was amazing.
Overall, we had a very cozy stay. Most importantly, my furbaby loved the stay and that's all that matters to me.

I used to visit this place for the night club. Flying Elephant was the best night club of Chennai. I mean it must be the best even now.

General manager Mr Sascha Lenz and his team right from our first meeting on 2 different occassions showed exceptional Love, warmth to the children who are orphans living in karunyam charitable trust. Ponmar (Home for boys and girls) Their courteous manner, hospitality, kindness shown just speaks of who they are.

Room is new at a nice location. Facility is in good maintenance. Staffs are friendly with smiling face. Breakfast is good and can order by individuals’ favorites.

Had our dinner at 'The Dining Room' last night. The ambience of this restaurant is really awesome, accompanied by a lotus pool where you can taste your coffee in peace. And its sure that one can't leave without taking few pics to cherish later. Very good service and the dishes were absolutely yummy. The restaurant comes up with diverse menu of global cuisine. So its way easier to have your fav traditional dish while your foreigner boss is having his personal fav sitting next to you. Cost is pretty reasonable for the taste, hygiene, posh ambience and service. Overall it was a memorable dining experience for us.

The food was fresh, properly prepared and a great value for the price. I highly recommend it.

The hotel is not 5 stars at all… This is a joke. Services are horrible and the stuff is so rude. You can't pay a bag of money and have mold in the water container of the coffee machine. Also if you need to use Etherbet cable for the internet, it is just a joke to take 2 hours and 6 people to figure out why the ports are not working. Another thing is that they shouldn't be giving rooms and do renovations whole day above with drilling machine, especially during the weekend (starting at 8a. M) when people want to take a rest after long working week.

Very nice spacious rooms staff very co operative and helpful. The breakfast buffet was a very wide spread, in house dining was also very good. The meal at the Flying Elephant was excellent. All in all we had a lovely stay enjoyed every moment. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay a memorable one.

We went for a weekend escape constituting of 4 guys, the hotel greeted us with great service. We asked for city view, you'll be able to see busy streets especially in the evenings. Definitely lives up to the expectations from it's brand. The rooms are spacious, well lit and comfortable. The breakfast buffet has a good deal of variety as does the buffet at other times of day. The infinity pool is peaceful and relaxing and a spectacular view. The gym is well equipped for either a moderate or intense workout. On the whole we enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

We went here on the weekend for the two day stay and ut was an amazing experience. As there hospitality is a top notch level. They provide lots of help to you if you have forgot your essentials at home not worry they have it all stored in their rooms. While coming out from a tired day they have also surprised us with pastries on the table which was beautiful. Surely looking forward to visit again.

We were a group of 7 that reached Park Hyatt, Chennai, at 2.45pm for lunch which was almost closing time. When we requested for lunch, the staff were kind enough to allow us inside the restaurant. They not only ensured we had all items of the buffet but also served us with fresh roti baskets & starters at our table. The buffet was kept open for us until we had our dessert. It was an excellent experience. Thanks to the staff at Park Hyatt.

One of the best hotels in Chennai and rooftop pool is simply awesome good service and food in flying elephant was too good. Overall completely satisfied with the service.

Stayed there with my family, parents and in laws. Excellent property. The infinity pool on the roof top was the highlight — great views & well maintained. My 4 month old daughter's first hotel stay — I was worried initially about how she will cope up with new environment. But to my surprise she felt very comfortable. Complimentary deodorant is a nice touch. Would recommend to add a rocking cradle for the little ones. Thanks for making our stay memorable.

I've visited here for a team dinner, arrangements made wonderfully and service too. In the main course some more dishes along with the delicious dinner list could have made full satisfaction. Simply, "Hotel (Hyatt) for Hospitality"

This is such a good hotel. Very spacious very clean and excellent hospitality by the staff there. The rooms are just so personal and looks like god's own. The food as well is unbeatable. So many varieties of food are served even for the breakfast. Anyone who stays there would just forget the world outside. Marvelous place.

We had a strange experience at our previous hotel. They received a government directive telling the hotel to move all foreign nationals to another hotel. My colleague and I were moved to the Park Hyatt and we loved it. The staff were friendly, cheerful and helpful. The breakfast buffet was varied and of a good quality. The rooftop pool was fantastic as was the flying Elephant restaurant. All in all it was a great two nights. Oh they also have complimentary shoe shine service.

I went to restaurant The Flying Elephant. It was a wonderful evening I have spent there. Food items were very nice and tasty. The ambience was too good. Would love to go this place whenever I will find time.

The ambiance and the hospitality was awesome. I had my dinner at The Flying Elephant and the food was an absolute beauty. The Darjeeling tea was the best of em all. I have visited the place a couple of times and it is always as satisfactory as it could be.

Really nice room and spacious room. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Food here is great, the buffet option in the adjoining restaurant was brilliant.

Nice and beautiful place to visit having good views for some. Customer care is good but need some improvements. Can get many services but the quality is average and need improvements. Correction in health related minor issues are there. Hope the administration will consider to educate the workers and the responsible team for the betterment of the visitors.

Been there for an hour for a meeting. Had business dinner kinda stuff which was pre set as it was late into the night. Liked the food. Actually was simple and pretty good.

Good boutique hotel with an awesome brunch on Sundays courtesy the flying elephant. Located well within other Sunday activity destinations hence convenient. Apparently the spa is also nice but haven't tried it.

Was extremely impressed with the service of the staff initially… would have given a 5 star just for that but unfortunately I would not recommend you staying at the hotel on a Saturday night. It's 12:40 am and the music at their restaurant is so loud that we cannot sleep… have been complaining for the last 1 hour and to no avail… even with earphones on am not able to drown out the sound.

Visited the Park Hyatt for some late night/early morning food. Their all day dining is very good and the same goes for the hospitality. We were provided a table next to the indoor pool and the ambience would have been great, if the mosquitoes were not present. Not much can be done about the mosquitoes though, as it is open to sky. FYI, alcohol is served in this restaurant till 3 am.

A very nice city hotel that is very tastefully decorated. The highlight is certainly the Infinitipool on the 9th floor on the roof. Lying in the water overlooking the city. Very good breakfast with a lot of healthy options. The Italian restaurant doesn't need to shy away from comparison with Bella Italia. Very spacious rooms even in the standard area. The price-performance ratio is absolutely perfect.

Nice luxury hotel located 30 minutes from Airport. It's almost I'm the middle of the airport and the city. Quality of room amenities, fittings and housekeeping is good. Clean rooms. Fitness centre is modern. Service levels fall short sometimes — at arrival and also during check in.

A very good property in Guindy area. Very approachable from airport from railway station. They have very good choice of restaurants. The food and service is very good. It is a good place to meet business associates. The ambiance is very good. The place is disabled friendly. They have ample parking space. Overall a very good hotel in Chennai.

The Hotel has great decor to start with. The seating at the reception has a soothing view to a faux lake. Management and service is commendable. Selection and variety of food certainly doesn't live up to their standards (personal preference). Rooms and the other facilities are of great quality and can be felt on first sight.

The ambience is very pleasant and beautiful. The food was quite delicious and tasty. The continental pasta items we tried were of pleasant taste. The Indian beer selection is limited. As soon as you enter towards the restaurant, two attendants are waiting there to help the guests, which is nice. Very nice relaxing seating arrangement at the waiting area for the guests.

Food is average. Service speed is average. Service staff is smart and well turned out. Music volume is too high. Overall an average experience. Neither unhappy nor thrilled.

The Sunday brunch at the flying elephant used to be great. It's still good, though not as great. I live their cocktails. Food is great. The infinity pool is quite nice and their rooms are really good. Staff is great too. Most importantly they are pet friendly. What's not to like!

Great place, wonderful staff, super delicious food the chef prepared special potato dish for my 8months old without our demand. The dish was extremely tasty and easily digestible They provided surprise cake for our anniversary (must have noted the date previous time) which was a great experience for us. I would highly recommend this place.

I had dinner at The Dining Room last night along with my colleagues. The service was pathetic, we were a group of 20+ and they brought us a plate of starters every 15-20 minutes. Oh! And the waiter himself appeared only once in a while. We had to go around asking someone to serve water. I was wondering if they are not used to having this kind of a crowd (we had booked a table in advance), and they were clearly short-staffed and under-prepared. Considering it is 5-star and the exorbitant prices, the service and food was below standards and am super disappointed.

The ambience was great! Food was tasty, and the desserts were very chocolaty. Out of the many fine dining restaurants I've been to, I'd say that this one has been the best experience so far.

We had our recent stay but was very disappointed by their lack of knowledge on Navratri Thali. During breakfast I asked if they cater anything for fasting they replied "you can only get fruits and yogurt, you can go and get that". I feel very humiliated. How can an Indian branch of Hyatt not cater for Navratri — a celebration that's observed all across India. I assumed that chefs hired by big brands should have basic understanding of Indian festivals and the food but I guess I was wrong. I hope in future, Indian culture is taken into consideration when preparing menus during various festive seasons. I was left with no options but to go out for my evening meals in an unknown city with no understanding of local language and left for airport without any morning breakfast.

The hotel spa is great. Even the lounge is good but there were quite a lot of mosquitoes in there. Just choose the right place in there.

Loved the ambience. The spread of dishes was huge but not as diverse as I'd hoped it to be. Staff are great just as it is expected from any star hotel.

A year ago I was for the first time and was very good. The rooms are large and very clean. Instead they have closed one of the bars that they had, do not serve alcohol in the 2 restaurants and the breakfast could be more varied.

"A place to be for New year" … Awesome ambience with international cuisines. Flying Elephant should top the list of Chennai's favorites pubs. Pumping music and decent crowd gives you an excellent feel for the eve. Staffs are courteous. Thumps up for the food and place.

We loved the service at this hotel. If you have the money then staying at this hotel is great. It's safe, clean, and great service, like a Hyatt hotel should be. The food was amazing! Although very expensive. And the service was even better, we liked this one waiter whom we had a few times, his name is Tanmoy. He was absolutely fantastic! One of the best waiters I've ever had. Better than any back in Canada that's for sure. He made it feel like it was truly enjoyable to serve us. And he was a very hard worker.

An elegant and lovely hotel but not as 'Park Hyatt' as others in the chain. More 'softness' in appearance required. Staff are very good, especially in F&B areas. Major complaint though. The entire hotel is like a refrigerator.

Wonderful welcome by Hyatt Staff. A very professional and friendly receptionists. I was offered a Single King-Bed room on 7th floor with wonderful city view. Hallways, pool, spa and other amenities are as good as their welcome.

As part of the Restaurant week India, I visited this place on April 1st Dinner. Our disappointments started right from our entry where we were told that the AC was not working in the restaurant and we were seated in the sultry weather outside without proper lighting n we couldn't see what we were eating. Added to that the service was below par. Every time we needed anything, we had to ask at least twice or thrice including water. On my previous visits, the service was good n probably the below par service is attributed to the subsidised cost and they decided to subsidise everything including service n food quality. Utterly disappointed. Will never recommend this place ever. Left a bitter taste about the place as well as restaurant week India.

I love this place for its quiet, but beautiful architecture. Sprawling open spaces and wonderful cuisine just go to add to the magic. Without exaggeration, I had the best ever paneer tikka here.

Worst food taste, bad in quality, spending here is not worth a penny, also they don't provide feedback form to improve on their side. Had bad experience when went with my client and got disappointed him with those foods. Good in ambience. Can't spend money only for ambiance need to improve a lot in restaurant side.

Good place to stay in chennai. Clean room, gentle staff… But In my opinion, it may not deserve 5 stars. 4 stars OK, then to get the fifth they will have to work in order to improve service.

Please rename this as flying mosquito … dirty water. I was bitten by atleast 1000 mosiquitoes. You can get dengue as a complement… very unruly racist staff and… never wanted to go back to this place. And the food is holy shit. Im sorry this is exactly what we felt. Don't take it harsh… I don't know how some people have given good rating… zomato must have some kinda of verification system like amazon… where the customers who have really visted the place must give review.

Stayed here for 3 weeks. Excellent service. They never say no. Wanted to try pani poori wic was not on the menu but the chef whipped it up.

Stayed there three days and loved it. Staffs were friendly and always willing to assist! Would like to stay in future also.
