Excellent vegan/vegetarian food, awesome vegan dinner buffet, friendly and helpful staff. Mumbai toast — best breakfast in town, I love it. Always looking forward to go there.

Very relaxing and great food (best vegan cheesecake in the whole world! ). The huts are lovely, in the middle of the nature, with all sorts of birds and other animals sounds :) And the staff is amazing, so nice! :)

Very tasty authentic Kerala food with vibrant people which makes you feel at home! Walked in as a stranger and came out having had a wonderful meal and time! We randomly walked into the resort wanting to surprise our "No more single" friends for a bachelorette party without any idea. The resort managers and chefs welcomed us with a big smile and helped us with planning and executing the whole dinner party. Mr. Kim even went along with our lies to preserve the surprise! That was so sweet! Another chef cum manager (Renju) started chatting with us just like that adding more laughter and fun to the dinner. Btw, Renju is an amazing chef too! Akbar's tender coconut milkshake was equivalent to amirtham. Haha! I'm proud to say that the dinner party was one of the best nights of my life! Yes, there was no alcohol yet we had such a good time. Surprised? We too were! You don't always need alcohol to have a good time.

Amazing place for a stay on the cliff. Melvin is an awesome host. He made sure that all our needs were met, and also made special breakfast according to our needs (porridge and papaya salad). The rooms have a rustic look. Nice place to relax.

Delicious clean Indian food, went for breakfast and had masala dosa's with organic coffee, which were both so good. The dosa's was one of the best I'd eaten and tasted the healthiest/lightest, the condiments were complimenting and fresh. We returned for dinner as the food was good and they have buffets running for lunch and dinner. The buffet was equally good, fresh curries, salad, chapatti and plenty of rice. You will refill several times. Had the daily cake which was a cheesecake made from all clean healthy ingredients, ended up having 2 slices it was that good. Quality of food here is really high, you have to stop here at some point in the day.

The review and evaluation is not a hotel but a café! This café serves breakfast and lunch, with a vegetarian buffet, fruit and cheesecake, cost 200 rupees per person. The choice is very small, rice and potatoes, with potatoes, not salads are not vegetables. Indian cuisine is very tasty, here the food is worse than in the kindergarten, everything is cooked disgusting. No fruit is included, only fresh from watermelon or dads, with ice and sugar and water, which is doubtful. The cheesecake also did not smell, no sweets at all. Yes, authentic. But the pancake is not worth exactly 200 rupees per person. In fact, besides boiled rice, everything else is not edible.

For the friendliness of the staff, you feel continually pampered. The location is very good and the food is organic and spectacular. They offer buffet at a good price. The Ayurveda center located in the same resort is very professional and very good.

Beautiful place, very friendly staff. We did a cooking course here and it was great! We cooked 7 different dishes. We learned a lot! Food was delicious, although not very abundant. Highly recommended!

Best place for continental and kerala authentic seafood. Best chef and giving high importance to tourists /customers. First thing I have given 4 star as I haven't stayed there. We have been there for this 2017 pooja holidays. It was around 11.00pm. Wherever we asked for food, all the restaurants in the cliff was abt to close so they said no. But when we asked the chef who was in kitchen he strictly said he can make only non veg. We are OK and asked for a red snapper fry. Chef very well understood that we are very much hungry and said your order will be ready in 15-20 min. I can't believe, I thought just like other restaurants in cliff, these guys also saying the same and will take 1 hr. But within the said time, our dish was ready and you won't believe it's very very authentic in taste and traditional way it was cooked in a banana leaf covered with foil paper on the top of firewood. I never had such a masala taste in south India even though I am from chennai and tasted seafood around kerala too. Such a tasty fish with all spices in exact mixtures. I loved the way they served in banana leaf on the clay plate. And the veg salad was the best one I had in my lifetime which was prepared very quick in seconds. The price is really affordable for red snapper in that time. So keeping this in mind we again called them the next day morning and asked for breakfast. Chef said please come over, we will make it for you. My wife wanna try pakka kerala dish kappa fish curry.

It's the best place in Varkala, it's like being at home. Everything is excellent, the food, the workers, they always cater to you with a true smile full of love. If you want to spend some incredible days I recommend you go to this place unbeatable. A piece of my heart stayed in this incredible place.

Puccini lala is very close to nature and the person who looks after this Mr. Dhanush is very concerned abt it and he is very particular to follow this as an eco resort… This resort is a plastic free zone… I really loved staying here for two days… It was a grt relief for me frm my hectic corporate life and pressures… I ll surely spend my time here again n again… Rahul was our care taker and he was really cool to provide us all… Kudos to Puccini lala… U guys rock… Meet u soon…

Best place in Varkala! You will be in heaven if you enjoy freshly made, backyard grown produce, healthy and delicious food. They cater to Vegan and non-vegetarians alike. They offer the freshest and nourishment rich array of exquisite meals and thirst quenching shakes. They focus on environmentally sustainable practices and economic friendly decor. Love this place!

The rooms could've been cleaner. Besides that, the staff were lovely and very helpful through out our stay. They helped us arrange for transportation late at night and made sure we reached back safely.

Mixed feelings. On the one hand we waited more than an hour for our food, which was then accidentally given to other customers (other tables had to wait equally long) ; the food was average. On the other hand, the waiters were friendly and the banana lassi with homemade yogurt was the best I've ever had. We only visited the restaurant, and didn't stay in the resort.

Really gorgeous mud huts, great decor. Beautiful space in amongst so many plants and trees and in an amazing location on the main cliff. Restaurant was average in terms of food and service.

We went to this place for dinner as a large family. The initial thought that goes into your mind would be 'hmmm. This place looks interesting. Let's try the food here. ' The staff welcome you and help you get seated at your favorite place (since the place was already empty). This should have set the warning bells in action but we did not pay attention to this and went ahead in ordering. The guy who took the order described the menu in sufficient detail and suggested us to order more than what we could generally eat (thank God we didn't! ). And then the waiting game started. We waited or like an hour for the food to arrive. And then when the food came it was unpalatable. The worst food we've ever had in some time. The fish curry was just plain water with turmeric and chilli powder. The prawns (tiger) had their veins still intact in them.! When asked about this, he said that this is how they prepare and said it was the English style of preparation which was complete nonsense. We decided to get the check and leave. And lo and behold the misfortune continues. The menu card indicated the price of prawns to be just 350 INR. But the bill had 650 INR. When asked about this he said this was the price for tiger prawns. He didn't tell us this while ordering.! When we tried to pay using our credit card, they said they'll charge us 6% extra which was ridiculous and unheard of. This was the worst we have ever been treated. It was like being looted in broad daylight. TLDR: DONT GO HERE.!

I have mixed feelings about this original place… I love the organic decor and design. Almost everything is made out of natural material (except the mosquito net and the fan ;) ) it's very creative and cool. The people are very friendly and helpful and they take good care of you. The atmosphere is calming and very relaxing. Dinner was great — I had delicious kerala prawns. The lemon juice though was not sour enough and just tasted a bit sweet. The ayurveda center is lead by very friendly and competent people. Everything therr is designed with care. We have the treatment tonight. The consulting was professional and done with care. Unfortunately the rooms are a bit sticky and not the cleanest. The black floor makes it special to look at, but sometimes also lacks a bit of cleaning. On the first evening we had ant street on our bed, nonetheless the people here cleaned it very quickly and thoroughly. The bathroom could also benefit from some more attention, but is ok for the local standard. Here we also had ants, which is also common in this area. The rooms don't have any glass windows, which is fine, because they have colorful sheets covering the window wholes and the sheets mostly keep mosquitos out. Nonetheless it is a bit noisy, when the security watches movies outside and bikes drive by. Earplugs help ;) At the same time I also made the experience that Indian windows don't close properly anyways ;) so you always have some noise.
