From what I have seen in the last 2 days, this place probably has the best view of the sea. The rooms are very spacious, the balconies are really good addition. The pool could have been better as the water was really salty. The staff could have been better but over all they are pretty helpful. Contrary to most reviews, the breakfast was amazing. The spread was lavish and the food tasted really great. All in all it's great value for money!

The view from the sea view rooms are awesome. They have a huge balcony. Big window to enjoy the beach view over their swimming pool area. The rooftop restaurant was great, tge sea view is nice from here. But railings at the restaurant are really dangerous they are really old and broken. This place is near Papanasam beach.

Hindustan Beach Retreat is a 4**** property. The outside area doesn't give a 4star appearance. But once you are in the hotel. The staff is helpfull & cooperative. The rooms overlook the Beautiful sunset and the amazing Varkala beach. The hotel can actually boast of an array of delicious food items laid out for a sumptuous breakfast.

One of the best beach resorts I have been to. A must stay place for groups or couples. Their buffet breakfast is too good with a lot of available options. They have sea facing rooms with a balcony. Washroom is well equipped, staff of courteous with very prompt service. Parking space is limited though which can house max of 5 four wheelers. They have a bar as well. Wi-Fi was decent though this place catches 4G if you are an Airtel customer.

Beautiful place. Spacious rooms with ocean view. Very good breakfasts. Quality of service impeccable. Swimming pool more than pleasant. A idyllic place to rest in such a charming place. Really nothing negative.

Location and swimming pool are nice. Rooms are just above average. Service is a bit slow in restaurants. Overall good. They gave us free upgrade to see view room. Staff is very nice and humble.

Bful loc, slightly renovated property. Comfortable stay. Best loc bang on beach. Excellent view of sea from all rooms. Food was not good for my taste and liking. Hotel needs to change upholstery too as I found stained curtains, linen and cushion covers in my room.

Location of the property is awesome. I could not ask for more. Staff is very helpful. You open the balcony and get the sea view. Step out of hotel and enter to the beach. Rooms are very specious, neeat bathroom. Great room service. Breakfast buffet is well spread. Just close your eyes and book this place for peacfull stay.

Nice location with a close proximity to the sea. The view from the room was amazing. Friendly staff, nice and tasty food. Would like to spend one more night there. Only disadvantage was the insufficient parking space in front of the hotel.

View from the executive room is breathtaking. Includes a decent balcony. Add Ons are the swimming pool and the lavish buffet breakfast.

It's located near Varkala beach. This place is very known. Best part in this resort is view of beach. Room service is very best.

Wo super the site see view the hotel quiet and cam place. Well cleaned hotel and servicegod I had dinner there one borrotta price had charging 33 inr.

The hotel is expensive for the services offered. Although the view overlooking the sea is good. However the balconies have a lot of pigeons that constantly defecate which is not cleaned. The bathrooms are super tiny compared to the room. The breakfast has a couple of different options which is okay. The Wi-Fi is splotchy with periodic bouts of not being able to connect to websites. The spa is very average. The massage services are mediocre for the price they charge. TLDR: an expensive overpriced stay place which is not actually worth it.

There is something special with this beach, so much of positive vibe. Not too many people and a lot of shacks on the shore! Good to unwind yourself!

Hindustan Beach Retreat is an ayurvedic beach resort hotel provides tourist accommodation. It is one of the best accommodation options in varkala bech. It is situated at the heart of varkala beach and it is directly faces parallel to the Arabian sea so the rooms with good sea view beautiful landscape can saw sunsets in rooms. And the other main attraction is a swimming pool in it. There is a separate beer wine parlour is in this hotel.

Really like this hotel. Its close to the beach (walking distance the room was spacious and was a duplex. There was a games room swimming pool. The food was very good and there is a provision for buffet also.

Great location. All rooms are sea facing. Enjoyed the stay. Decent food, the waiter took a good half hr after the order was placed to serve us. Room — value for money Food — over priced. Suggest you to just walk down and order from the many food shacks opp the beach.

The rooms are extremely comfortable, and the proximity to the beach is always desirable. I stayed at two resorts — One in the cliffside path and one at the very bottom. As far as comfort going, Hindustan Retreat is definitely the winner. But their food is highly overpriced. Also, by staying in the lowest point, you miss out on a lot of the cliff path, which is an experience to be savored. If you want to stay here, I suggest exploring the area to find other food spots instead of restricting yourself to the restaurants within the resort.

Excellent view from hotel room and excellent service. We were greeted with watermelon juice on our arrival. Check in and check out were easy. The hotel is situated right on the beach so it was easy to access the beach and its local restaurants. Hotel stay offered free breakfast buffet at the roof top hotel restaurant. Did not go there for dinner though as there were other more popular places on the beach. Hotel itself was clean and properly decorated. It's not truly a resort like the ones with your own private villa/cabana but it is indeed a really nice hotel. Though there were some Hindu rituals being done on the small portion of beach right outside the hotel, it did not bother us at all.

5 star tariffs but 3rd class amenities. Misguiding images on internet and statement of hotel "right on the beach". In fact the small beach infront of the hotel is not usable as its been used to conduct ceremonies on the departed souls. Called Sraadh (thidhi etc. ). So staying on the beach gives you a feeling of staying next to a grave yard. Smelly elevator and wet and gloomy rooms. Water dripping from Air conditioner and faulty bulbs! Tariffs are at par with 5 star hotels but be in for surprise. Kids 5 year onwards gets charged for extra bed. Though you will not be given extra beds or pillows until ask for it!. Will be charged any ways. Suggest to have a look at rooms/cottages available on the cliff than Hindustan resort. One forgettable experience. Only positive note about the hotel is staff especially restaurant and security ones.

The property is well located, rooms are good especially the ones on the first floor with a private lawn terrace over looking the beach. The service is very bad, very much under staffed. The food quality is just average when you are on a vacation such hickups spoil the fun.

Excellently located probably the best sea view hotel in the area. Falls short when it comes to dinning. Overall value for money. The staff is courteous and extend assistance willingly. Although I have stayed during off season my experience was excellent.

I've been here for a while, restaurant is pretty good and people are polite and food tastes very good.
