Feeling cool & silent in this resort, Perfect for reliving your stress. Resort is located middle in greenery & hills. You may get 100 % oxygen for your body. The resort is very beautifully designed with natural products. You may feel very comfortable & relaxed in this resort. The staff is very cooperative, Food is excellent quality & taste. Me & My wife enjoyed in this resort & feel relaxed & kept out both from daily stress & busy life.

Stayed here on aug/2018 good for family, an amazing 3 star hotel, food was very tasty. Service was good.

Good place but access road to the resort is very difficult. Good is not good really waste of money.

Road to resort is little bit rugged and narrow as it is above the hill. If you are planning for sight seeing travel from resort, it is recommended to plan in day and return back before dawn. Chilling in resort is favourable and activities like boat riding and tea plantation walk thru are available.

Fantastic resort, it is situated heart of forest, no disturbance, awesome rooms, good food. Enjoyed the time.

This is not even a hotel, it is a makeshift hotel in a cardimum factory, rooms were offices before and are clostrophobic with no ceiling fans, there was no hot water facility, they charged extra for the pathetic service, they took 3 hours to prepare the food that was not even eatable and it's very hard to get to the hotel due to it's remote location. Really a very bad experience.

The staff is very friendly and food is also worth mentioning.

Great Place to enjoy your vacation. The valley views are excellent. Staffs are quite courteous and look towards all your minute details. Nice and cosy environment. We strongly recommend Tabernacle.

It's a beautiful resort just a hour away from cumbum, Theni district. It's a best place to stay with your family and friends for a weekend. There's a pool nearby where you can do fishing. The place is surrounded by beautiful cardamom plantation. The owner of the property one Mr. Mathew is a nice polite person and his staff are helpful. I shouldn't miss to mention the food served there. It's really awesome.

We booked 3 deluxe rooms. The rooms were kempt, but I don't see why hospitality industry saves money by putting 10 watt bulbs which give the room a very dingy appeal. Anyhow, darkness apart, we stayed there for 13 hours where 1. We misplaced a key. Asked for a spare and they didn't have one. 2. TV wasn't working 3. Food was so overpriced and so bad. The fish was almost a century old and smelled. They didn't charge us for that because we complained. The most fresh out of the lot was bananas, chapathi and salt. Inspite of this, the staff was very courteous. And the bed was kempt. So yeah, 2 stars.

The place had a really good view and provides affordable stay and really good campfire experience. But I will tell you why I gave this two star rating. During booking they told us that they have barbeque setup and on check in they agreed that they have the barebeque and would set it up for us. But soon some other party (probably hotshots) came after us and they gave away the barabequeue setup to them. This doesnt stop here. Our package included the complementary breakfast. But in the morning we had to wait for atleast 20 minutes for the food to arrive (we started waiting at 10:30 AM in the morning). Later by the time the food arrived, everyone jumped in and nothing was left for us. They have only one person in the kitchen for cooking purpose. it is upto you now.

We stayed there in Oct 2016 with family, a very good place tucked away in nature. Staff was prompt and courteous. Had a chance encounter with a bison in the backyard early morning. Early morning walk through cardamom plantations is heavenly. Though approach to the resort is experience in itself. Good for honeymooners. Mumbai.

We stayed at Tabernacle in Nov 2015. People may not like this place, but we really liked it. Our reasons: * Its in a god forsaken place away from the Thekkady town. That was part of the fun. If you are looking for a night life you will mostly have real wild animals for company :). * The approach road is precarious and adventurous. * The staff and the people were very friendly. Good breakfast too. * Overall ambiance is that of a forest lodge in the middle of nowhere.
