It's situated in valiyaparamba island. The front side of the beach house is kavvayi kayal and back side is beach. It's a four room property. They have private boat service.

Good location on an island between backwaters and sea. Reach there using a boat. Enjoy the privacy. Accommodation is standard. Nice staff and food prepared by locals. Take couple of books to read.

Wonderful place for those adventure seekers who wish to escape for a day or night from the hassles of daily life and just live a completely relaxed life for atleast a day. Kavvayi offers Kayaking fishing private beach Barbeque hammock swings and off course camping in the tent and a relaxed stay option.

Nice place with one side beech and water other side middle stay like an island. Lonely and calm place murmuring sounds of beech superb.

Location is perfect. Food wonderful. Management very nice. Very tranquil place.

Hey all, this is my village and next to my home — it's bit tough to reach this spot by road, it's an Isolated place and will not find any other thing than this stay, if you want to be in silence and isolated to yourself, you may choose to visit, if you like to enjoy beach as group and wanted to see some people on the shore — this is not a preference and u will wind up the trip shortly.

Best place to visit if you like staying next to a beach. You can enjoy in beach for the whole day. Night campfire next to beach is a different feel. You get home made food. They serve variety of fish.

Super location for outing and releasing all levels of stress in life.

Out of this world location. Arabian Sea on one side and perumba backwaters on another, separated by a stretch of land maybe 50 meters wide. Clean, isolated 'private' beach far as long as you can see. And a backwaters perfect for kayaking (provided at a cost) or swimming. Sumptuous spread for meals. Fresh catch of the day. Authentic Malabar cuisine like you never tasted before. Felt like kissing the cook' hands. Attentive staff and an owner who is ready to help with any request. They have a card swiping machine, so needn't worry about carrying too much cash.

Nice place to enjoy the holidays. Calm and cool place with beach one side and lake on the other side. Very best place to relax. Staffs especialy 'Gangettan', good in character vice, kind and very helpful. Must go place.

A beautiful peaceful place with excellent food and hospitality. Very enjoyable to kayak on the backwaters or swim from the secluded beach.

Kavvayi beach house is basically an island in the middle of sea and backwater. The views availabe are very scenic and beautiful. The sunrise and sunset is pretty much good. The beach house provides transportation from land to the island. Although the food and beverage is available if booked in advance, if you need more than that is available, better come equipped or take a ride to the town and get some (which is also interesting, if you're not in the middle of something really interesting)

Kavvai beach house is ideal place to stay when you visit valiaparamba island, payyanur, kerala. Situated between sea and back waters very good place for stay and relaxing. Exotic kerala cousine both veg and non veg homely food. Staff are very helpful and rooms are clean and comfortable. I give them 4 star rating for this home stay.

This place is located in an island off Payannur. The best thing about the place is that the beach is only 50 metres away. It's and amazing place because it is nestled between the backwaters of Kavvayi and the beach. The also offer kayakaying and boat rides to the nearby islands and forests. They offer Kerala Cusine and if you request them prior they would make other cusines as well.

Nice place with sea on one side and back water on the other. Caretaker is a nice and helpful guy. Enjoyed a day visit and Lunch here. Recommend spending at least a night here.

What makes this beach house very unique is its location, a narrow strip of land sandwiched between the beautiful Kavvayi backwaters and the Arabian sea making it a real fun to hop between real different experiences. The house also overlooks the Ezhimala hills where the Indian Naval Academy is situated and offers a night lit view in the night. Home-cooked food is excellent and Ranjith and Ganga play excellent hosts, real down to earth people. I want to say special thanks to Ranjith for his gesture and extreme kindness in offering us accommodation and arranging everything at this beautiful place while we were on a Kayaking expedition from Kasargod to Kannur through the backwaters.

It's and awesome place to visit. For anyone who wish to getaway from the current world. Peaceful with thr beach sound and the surrounding. The best part is their hospitality it's superb and not other place can match it. Overall Ranjit Thanks a lot.

Beautiful is not the word, back water on one side and sea to the other… The private beach is all yours, best place to unwind yourself for a 2/3 nights stay. You would love the place once you visit.

This is one of the most serene places to visit, if one is interested in getting a flavour of the western coast of India, i. E. Beaches on the Arabian sea. The place is completely secluded from tourists to the extent that one rarely bumps into another human on the beach! Yet, the facilities are more than satisfactory at the resort, if you are looking for an earthy natural feel. The food is excellent where you get to taste the local delicacies as opposed to the obnoxiously homogenised menus that's served in more commercialised hotels throughout the breadth of this diverse country. The best part about the place was however the hosts who provide a warm personal experience and are extremely pampering even to our very idiosyncratic demands! If one wants slightly better accomodation facilities, contact them in advance since there are options available!

Amazing place to stay at. Highly recommended for 2/3 day stays.

Location fantastic. Rooms are basic and neat. Though with little more effort, it could have been even better. Food is good, though very limited options for vegetarians. Beach access is excellent and so is the backwater access. The facilities in the room can be improved a bit. When we visited, the solar water heater wasn't functional and hot water was an issue. Though they readily provided hot water in buckets. For a place of this caliber — that sounded like a makeshift arr…angement and it will do more harm than good for themselves. They were quite considerate about the kitchen access and allowed us in the kitchen for our use since we had our son traveling with us. I would have nudged the rating towards 4.5-ish but for the above reasons. All in all, a very good secluded beach/backwater resort for people who like some peace and calm and wants to spend some quality time.

Fantastic location… one side serene backwater, opposite side sea… I walked 5kms without seeing a single individual on the beach… absolutely pollution free water. Now coming to stay: was decent actually good, very homely atmosphere. And food was just out of the world… had prawns, 4 kind of fish, chicken, several awesome veg dishes and breakfast … within 3days… all made in exquisite local cuisine style… Absolutely loved the experience… a must go place… not very expensive.

Fantastic place to unwind and slow things down. Go on a digital detox, watch the ebb and flow of the tide and the birds, read a book, enjoy excellent Kerala cuisine, and feel at home because Ravi and his team make you feel like family. Reconnect with the simple joys of life, learn to cope without the "idiot box, " and enjoy taking a dip in the placid backwaters. Visit Payannur Mall, buy brassware, and feel the hustle and bustle of city life before longing to return to the serenity of Kavayyi Beach House.

Awesome place just beside backwaters. You get the entire island plus beach almost entirely for yourself. The staff is also super helpful.

Wonderful place to relax. In front of your rooms you get to see the beautiful back waters and a splendid sun rise. At the back of the house, you get an amazing experience of the beach and also you can catch the brilliant view of the sunset. Beach is clean and quite safe to play in. It's surprising that no one else was there at the beach when we were there, so it felt like a private beach.
Good home cooked food was served, and the host was kind too. I don't know if the people who rated 1 star came here expecting gourmet meals served. Overall, fabulous experience.

The back waters on one side and sea on the other side, you are in a beautiful Island. The private beach is yours. You can have long hours of boating in the back waters which is almost 18 km. You can have the fresh sea food delicacy. Vegetarian food is also very authentic and organic! just chill out watching the water bodies or venture for boating or playing at beach to rejuvenate. Safe and comfortable for an all girls day out as well!

The comments from Kavvayi Beach House about the visit that happened on 24th March, 2016 are not only factually untrue, but also condescending and were posted willfully to cause damage to the reputation of my friends who were part of the group. They have been posting comments again and again, with different versions. Every time, there is a comment posted, there is a new false allegation. I am wondering if they are running a beach resort or are they part of a novel writing com…pany. They have proved beyond doubt that whatever allegations they have hoisted against us in their comments are untrue by editing them and reposting. We have the screenshots of every version of their comment and post talking to them, they themselves have removed certain portions of the comments. We also have the call recording, in which, Dhyan Ranjith, patently agrees that his comments are all exaggerated and he will ensure that they will get them removed. It is so unprofessional of them, they have gone ahead and blocked few of my friends from responding to their comments and hence I am posting this as part of the aggrieved group. This whole episode has been posted on TripAdvisor as well. We have been pushed to the wall and we have initiated legal proceedings against Kavvayi Beach House and soon the next course of action will be taken.
