Visited Abad Copper Castle Hill Valley Resort on 8th & 9th, July, 2019 for two days. I had a lovely room overlooking the valley. There was great staff at the hotel especially resort manager Mr. Murli Nair which were very helpful with any requirements needed.
Neat and spacious rooms and clean bathrooms. Very good food available in restaurant.
Rooms are spacious and fresh and there is a nice garden too.

It was good experience with a bad castle.

Beautiful hotel, lovely friendly and helpful staff, great food lovely grounds especially the view point.
The balcony would be really nice if it had a table and chairs, and the room would need some form of heating as we found it quite chilly in February.
But all in all a good hotel.

Good food. The waiter mixed up one item on the order, but that's negligible inconvenience. We effective carried some food as takeaway from the restaurant for later that evening. Does not serve alcohol.

Such aptly located in the serene and picturesque location among hills giving you a wonderful experience during the stay. The food is good and staff service is prompt and upto mark and behaviour very decent and cordial.

Located on a hill top, all rooms facing down the valley. Valley facing rooms have balcony to enjoy the nature at its best. In morning and evening you can feel mist coming to your room. A 4 star property well equipped with a restaurant and Ayurveda massage center. We enjoyed own stay fullest. Breakfast is wide verity available in buffet.

It's a fairly tale location besides audacious River and lush tea estates. Staff is helpful and courteous. Food is awsome. Very professionally managed place.

Simply superb. No other hotel can be better than Abad copper castle in its category in Munnar. Whether it is location or hospitality and amenities. We a family of 6 persons stayed in Abad Copper castle Munnar in the third week of April. The reception was warming and smooth. We were provided accommodation as promised. Location Wise it's sarrounded by misty mountains which looks beautiful throughout the day. We have booked superior room and it was up to the mark. Beds can be more comfortable. Restaurant is good and serves North Indian and limited south Indian food which is tasty. Complimentary buffet breakfast is worth for couples but a bit less spread for families with children. Staff was very courteous and helpful. A extra.

Excellent location on the valley top. Scenic view of Hills from the hotel room. Cool, pollution free zone for pleasant and relaxing stay. Restaurant staff is ok and food quality is good. Only the front reception manager needs to be more sober than blunt.

We've been to the restaurant, I don't recommend Western food. Good Indian One. Location close to viewpoints on the grounds from you, not the best in the area though. Better climb higher towards Munnar or the top Station.

Hotel is at fantastic location. There is a good welcome warming. Splendid food and best service of the staff. Each and every thing is excellent. We enjoyed at MUNNAR.

Best hotel to stay and enjoy delicious food. The hotel location is excellent. It’s surrounded by a forest and mountains which gives you peace. Almost all hotels in munnar having the same peaceful atmosphere I guess but the main thing we liked about this hotel was its hospitality. Staff service was beyond expectations. Each staff member was greeting us with a smile everytime. And the one thing that we loved at Abad was their food. Food was so yummy and delicious. We booked hotel with meals and we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner like anything. Each menu item was well prepared, in proper texture and perfect combination of taste. Hotel is having mountain view. If that was valley view then it would be great. But at the end we enjoyed our stay at Abad and will recommend this hotel.

A very good hotel to stay with pleasant ambience and the restaurant was also equally good, had a variety of tasty dishes. The people were also very friendly. Definitely recommend for your visit.

Such a wonderful place, so friendly atmosphere, everyone is nice and helping, the views are amazing on top of the mountain at the Tea Plantations, the food is great … totally recommended.

Rooms are good and view is breathtaking. Bon fire organized by the hotel was a dud. Breakfast is good but lack of Electric kettle in the room was a sore point. Early room service did not materialize. Tea lovers would miss their morning cuppa, that too staying surrounded by tea gardens. Who would miss the irony of this!

Awesome property, close to Munnar town (3km). It has got a great view with good rooms. The food is excellent. The staff is extremely courteous and friendly. The service is also excellent for the price paid. Not much of recreational activity at the resort. There is no coffee maker in the room which is the only drawback I Can mention. Will definitely stay again.

The best hotel in Munnar. Had a wonderful stay. Excellent service and courteous n hospitable staff. Food was very good. Just a separate menu for western food would bring an added variety to the palate of the foreign tourists. Enjoyed every moment in this amazing place. Thanks to this hotel staff who helped us in every way.

Room faded and not nickel. The family Welcome to the disadvantage of being noisy due to disrespect of other occupants. Positive side, a nice panoramic view and a nice garden.

Great food, Good rooms, Good view… that's it No lift so ready to climb 4-5 floor, No kettle to make coffee or tea or warm water/milk for kids, For small cup of hot water you may have to order from restaurant. Rooms are quite cold and no heater in room so be ready to feel cold all the time. No mini refrigerator in the room so if you need ice or wanted to have cold water you wouldn't get the same, We struggled for ice on new year eve. Hotel staff is bit novice and unprofessional, when ask for ice at reception they played ignorant and ask you to contact respective department, However with some argument they did provide ice after couple of hours. Restaurant management staff in particular is rude toward guests and specially kids. Kids picking up couple of jam pouches to eat immediately after breakfast are told that each jam pouches costs Rs 5 and you can't take any of them to room even when breakfast was included in package. Housekeeping don't clean the rooms properly. I would suggest to choose better property, there are many better choices.

Clean room. Water was cold in shower every now and then. Restaurant was really great. Food was authentic and delicious. Staff was polite. Ironing board seemed only to be available every now and then.

One of the best places to stay in Munnar. Great hospitality n good rooms with a mountain view. Restaurant was also good. We chose it as it was near to the town and next to a view point.

Stayed in the resort for 2 nights on a family holiday trip. This resort is a complete well maintained resort with all amenities. We had a fabulous experience in staying this resort. Hospitality of this resort can beat any of the VALLEY RESORTS, the staff were touched our heart with their all time smiling service and kind behaviour. Food and location of the resort is awesome. Our kids enjoyed a lot. We had a massage in the REVIVAL spa of the resort that was tremendous. At last must say COPPER CASTLE resort is a worth to everyone choose to stay here.

The reception is at level 0 and the rooms start at the level — 1 to — 4.
We were at this level without elevator and the rooms smelled like sewage pipes. No air conditioning and with altitude it was just.
Decent Restaurant on the other hand it is located away from the city with a terrible road. Fragile backs refrain.

Got a room with balcony, outside view was awesome. Cleanliness, Service and behaviour of staffs were excellent. Food was good, but a bit over priced. Approach road was narrow and in bad condition. Preferable for couples enjoying their honeymoon.

Not Perfect as resort but Good overall. I ll give average rating to Breakfast and dinner. Not many options in food. But outside view from rooms are awesome.

My stay was fantastic, thanks to the staff and manager. My daughter loved the place. The view from the resort is amazing. The hills in front of the resort with the first sunlight of the day gives you heavenly view. Great food and breakfast with lot of vegetarian choice. I hope to return with a week stay!

A very good hotel… Make sure to get the room with balcony. It gives you a fantastic view of the mountain. The place is located at a place where it's always windy. Which makes it very cool They have their own view point at one corner which too has an awesome view of the mountains. The only downside was that there were no kettles in the room for drinking purposes, however a continuous source of hot water at the bath is heavenly.

Awesome view… just awesome. Spacious, clean, well maintained and cozy rooms. There is also a very well maintained garden full of flowers. The dining area even has live music. The food is just awesome. Recreational activities like table tennis, carrom, chess are available.

Being a Keralite to whom Abad is very well known, I had no doubt in finalising Copper when our local trip advisor included it in the options given. We were a group of three families and we all felt so happy to be in the property, its more than just worth the money. Calm n serene location and very polite and friendly staff made it all the more satisfying. Facilities are nice and the food… great as well.

I got to know of Abad resorts from a friend. I was planning for a family vacation to Kerala and decided to stay at their resorts across Kochi, Munnar, Allepey etc. Called them at least 10 times and finally got the quote for 6 nights package over email, replied back immediately for some clarification and no response. Then again called up multiple times just to know that the concerned person is not at seat and will call me back in 5 mins. Finally I booked my flight tickets, hoping that I will simply take the 6 nights package and send another mail for a booking confirmation. After few hours another executive replies back saying no rooms available. I immediately called them up and the executive said the earlier executive is not available and I have to call next morning and he may be able to allocate rooms for me. When I insisted that I need a final confirmation from them by that night itself this guy kept me on hold saying he will call me in 2 mins and confirm.
My trip plan is from 10th to 17th Oct 2016 and I am still waiting for their confirmation. My non refundable flights are booked and I don't have any hotels booked just for this Unprofessional team of Abad.
If the service is so pathetic at booking stage itself just imagine how it would be when you land at their resorts. Think 100 times before booking with Abad next time.
