Great location and reasonable price. Drawbacks are the distance from the Vehicle parking stand and overpriced restaurant with below average taste. Overall, value for money.

The location of the hotel is the best part about it. It's situated directly infront of the beach. The view from here is memorizing. The rooms are good too. They are spacious enough and well equipped. The service, I think is extraordinary. The GM of the hotel called us specifically to ask us if we are having a comfortable stay and if we have any suggestions. We pointed out that there was not enough variety in breakfast and the next day, he had improved on that. The reception is friendly and fast too.

The hotel is right on the beach. And as you sit on the front you will enjoy the vast and beautiful sea in front along with the staggering lighthouse which comes to live in the night. The hotel is pretty neat and clean. It has every amenities one needs. The restaurant is also great. One can definitely enjoy a pleasant stay here.

Wonderful experience… spacious room… food is good. Staffs are good learners … swimming pool is awesome… Mr. Lothario help us a lot… thank u so much… pool is commendable… we all felt it is the cocci land.

Don't bother eating here. Went in after reading a good review which was an old one. The food was not well made. It was grossly overpriced to have an inexperienced child cooking. The prawns with garlic butter was actually burnt garlic with vegetable oil. Awful. The prawns were over cooked and was hard and rubbery. Plus they over charged for it The king fish Malabar curry tasted like recycled curry from another dish … it was below average. The filter coffee is a lie. It tasted like instant coffee aired to give it bubbles similar to filter coffee. Avoid the restaurant. Go to others. Not worth your time or money.

The place is amazing. Located right next to the beach. The car can't reach right to the entrance of the hotel. So you gotta get down and walk for 100-200 metres. The hotel staffs are extremely friendly. Customer service is amazing. Absolutely enjoyed my stay here. The place is clean, compact and apt for a couple or fellow backpackers. The hotel consists of a restaurant too. The food tastes good. The whole line of hotels and restaurants in that shoreline are pretty expensive. But this place was amazing and atleast it doesn't put a hole on your pocket. Book it online and check for availability. It's hard to get rooms if you go there and book, as the place is almost full all the time. Our train got delayed a bit and the staffs were friendly enough to let us stay in room for half a day more for free. I don't have any complains. So they deserve a full 5 stars.

This hotel was the last stop of our Kerala trip and we stayed here for 3 nights. The rooms are clean and good, the restaurant is good as well and the staff are courteous and accommodating. They truly made our stay a great one!

Hotel staff cooperative, humble and having good ambience on the hotel. Easy access from beach to rooms. Rooms are spacious for two people.

This place is located along the seashore line of the Arabian sea. The access to room from the beach is very simple and friendly. The rooms and toilets are clean. Hot water no problem at all. The rooms don't stink of humidit. Quick and smart staff.

Cool place. Beachside awesome. Rooms were clean, well-maintained and the bathrooms were also good. View from the hotel, of the beach was serene. Complementary breakfast. Food was good. Overall good experience.

Please don't be deceived by the ambiance of the place… The service takes ages to come… The quantity is very poor… They didn't even serve water. Please don't waste your money by visiting this restaurant… A humble request… The prices are phenomenal as compared to the quality or quantity of the food… *Do not visit.

Nice cozy rooms. But no safe and fridge in the rooms. Courteous staff. Awesome sea view from the restaurant but since the hotel is in the back, there is no sea view from the rooms.

Its a good place to stay in kovalam. The hospitality is the best. The staffs are really good. Moreover one can enjoy the sea view from this hotel.

Disclaimer: review is from western traveller's perspective so it might be biased. This hotel is more on par with motel level in US. Not super clean but average. However staff is very nice and friendly, also it's close to the beach and stores.

Well, the service they have is way too good and friendly. The guys are great. The location is great. Really its a great deal. I enjoyed my stay over there a lot. :)

The rooms are very neat and clean, clean and white linen, surface are clean. Just at the beach, 50 meters walk. Staff are cooperative. Over all had a good experience :) nothing hugh end about the property but its silent and calm neat and tidy which earns the point.

The fact that this is right off of the beach, doesnt really make it stand out cause there are many others like it but it is certainly what contributed well to a 3star rating… The hotel isn't that resourceful but the staff is good and does go the extra mile… They didnt have a restaurant at the time of my visit… They did organize a breakfast which was good. Fine for the cost.

Really awesome stay awesome hospitality. We travelled Tamil naidu paying double rent but here in reasonable price we got homly stay and staffs were very much freiendly and caring. I can give 6 star.

Excellent resort. All staff do good jobs and they are very cooperative also. Nice decorated rooms with wooden materials​. Wash rooms are kept clean n tidy. There is a also nice restaurant named "Malabar Cafe"just infront of it. Overall nice experience.

Value for money. I stayed with my family and rooms were comfortable. Manager Mr. Thomas and other staff members were very cooperative. Hotel location is perfect in front of the beach & is hardly at 10 mtrs walking distance. We enjoyed a lot.

The Malabar Cafe attached to the hotel is more popular with the crowds than the hotel itself. It's not a very good hotel, but budgetary and just about ok. Rooms sometimes stink of fungus. The location of the hotel is awesome! Malabar Cafe is famous for sea-food. There's a small souvenir shop too. One extra star only because the manager Thomas is a really good person, going that extra mile to make your stay comfortable.

Location wise it is on beach… so 4 star for it… But has only GF. And not has view from window… Front has restaurant and back side is hotel…

Love the unwind. Staff great very good service. The malabar food excellent. So handy for beach and step out of hotel have breakfast in malabar and then straight on to beach in front.

I stayed in this hotel in January 2016 with my Mum and two sons the rooms where very comfortable and great value for money. The food at the Mala Bar was amazing also. And the warm reception from the staff was just fantastic can't wait to return.
