Wonderful stay there. Stuff very helpful. Food are delicious specially the local foods. The Ayurveda doctor is excellent ❤️.

A very beautiful location to spend any special occasion with our loved ones. Do not hesitate a bit. Must visit resort if u love heritage and sea… do try ter white pasta and sticky toffee pudding. We enjoyed our stay. Very good service too.

Pity the fkng Adani port will destroy the ambience.

Absolutely the most beautiful Resort in Kerala. Amazing octagonal shaped room with ocean view. Octagonal shape! built in the traditions of old world Kerala tharavad. Exceptional hospitality. If you ever visit Kerala, put this on your bucket list.

A hidden gem! A large stretch of beach!

I have recently stayed in niraamya retreats, kovalam with my husband n baby. This is a perfect place for couple or family who is looking for peace n relaxation on their vacation. Very courteous n generous staff, amazing hospitality, beautiful private beach n lush green environment make it a perfect resort to stay.

Amazingly romantic n beautiful place to stay in… Pls try to make it at least once … you will love it… sea facing individual homestays… So much of trees n natural beauty… the infinite Pool is just cool… Like a natural pond… Loved the place a lot… would love to go again n again.

The intimacy, friendlyness and services on offer at the Thekkady retreat have been nothing other than exquisite! The food classes have been well organised and engaging. The low number guests have created a comfortable ambience. And the touch with nature reminds you of what an escape is all about. Raj (to name exclusively) has personally made the last few days of travelling India a very happy departure. I would heavily recommend this to any food/nature lover looking for a food time.

Excellent Resort… we were welcomed warmly with local rituals. Exquisite ambience… delicious food, Modest n cooperative staff. Having breakfast facing sea is awesome…

Excellent ambiance and service Food not so good.

Best to get a hotel driver to pick you up. Not many drivers have heard of this resort. It’s a retreat as the name suggest, and the resort does well to match up to that. We each had an Ayurvedic massage and also attended a Kerala cuisine cooking class. Didn’t feel a need to leave the resort honestly. Would love to be back some day! On a side note, thanks to Niraamaya staff for the flower arrangement on the bed, but might have to tone down a little on the petals :)

Heavenly. Incredible rooms, food, service, amenities. One of the most impressive properties I've been to in India. Takes luxury to the next level.

The rooms are wonderful and the way treat customers is appreciable. However, one thing I felt bad was about the food. The dinner and breakfast was terrible but the lunch was not bad. Rooms are very clean and tidy. All rooms are non smoking rooms.

Money minded magnets. Each day will cost easily 10000 rupees for just the food. My cousin had been there. They will extract money like anything.

Absolutely beautiful location, and excellent individual bungalows. Service and quality of food in restaurants however is quite terrible. Overcooked food — dry leather like beef, rubber, almost plastic like squid, burnt eggs (yes, I’ve never seen this before, ever) … half a table of 4 food served, 15 mins before rest. Constant asking are you ok, can I help… even to the point I was asked if I wanted help with my food… presumably to cut it up into mouth sized portions! … oh and other than that couldn’t cook an omelette correctly, I was told it would take a further 30 minutes to cook (?! ) Best to stay in the Taj Green Cove further up the coast instead.

Beautiful, thats the only word coming close to describing the place. The food, the view, the hospitality — nothing could be better. Has a private beach which is serene. Took a bungalow for three days and had a total blast of a time.

One of the best places I have visited! The resort is excellently maintained. Staff very friendly and courteous. Stayed for two days with family and I wish I had booked for another couple of days. The sea view cottages have excellent views. Spa is great and my therapist Remesh was excellent. Special thanks to Shikha in the restaurant for taking special care and effort. Thanks to Anoop in the reception for the care he showed to us. The food including the sea food was Great! Desserts were very nice and we tried almost all of them. I recommend this resort for anybody looking for peace and rejuvenation.

The best sea side resort experience to date. Extremely quiet and serene with its own private beach, there was not a minute when this place let me down. The beauty and the ambience of the entire resort is a pure treat to the eyes. The service right from the start, at the service desk, to the rooms, the food, the restaurant, the bar, everything was top notch. I would highly recommend this place for honeymoon couples. I would most certainly return back to this place.

One of best retreats I have ever been to. It's a perfect combination of luxury and tradition. The best part is the serence location and breathtaking ocean views. I would also recommend the Spa a must try.

Beautiful view, extremely helpful staff, the property is a perfect luxury getaway. The best spa experience which should not be missed. The chef and kitchen team have an eye for detail and extremely careful of individual choices.

I had a very good experience with Niraamaya where recently I stayed for couple of days. The way the staff organised everything is worth appreciating. Especially Ms Priya helped me a lot for my comfortable stay in the Resorts. I would love to be there whenever I plan to visit to Kerala.

Amazing place! Cottages, spa and location as well as food is a delight. Staff kind, friendly and with perfect feeling for the correct level of attention. A bit disturbed by the ongoing harbour building activity.

A great resort. Ranked in the top 5 hotels in India (2016) by Tripadvisor. The large property has very few cottages which keeps the place calm and uncrowded. The beach adjoining the resort is very scenic and not frequented by locals, or tourists and thus peaceful and serene. All in all it is in my opinion the best resort in Kovalam.

Facilities and services are unique and extraordinary. It is best resort in India, but billing system is very worse. I have bad experience about voucher and final bill while my stay in this hotel. Adding extra entries in bill and after verification, additional entries were deleted and saying sorry that is unfair. So I advise to customer to check their voucher and bills before payment.

Beautiful place to relax! mind the steep steps to get down to the beech… beautiful clean beach…! It would be better if the paths were marked better for the beech, restaurant etc… had a hard time the first day to find things… more benches placed around the property would be helpful to sit and enjoy the scenery… overall had a very nice time.
