Ambience is very good but the customer service needs to be improve a lot. Price here is higher than other hotels and bars in Kollam.

We stayed here for one night. The rooms are good, neat and spacious. Room service was excellent. The thing I liked most was the food. It was reasonable and taste was good. The staff were very helpful. They have a bar and beer parlour.

Recently renovated hotel good rooms but there is only limited breakfast like apppam will be three of nos.

Their rooms are very good. It used to be a cheap place. Now they are three star.

A no frills hotel that is ok for one night but nothing more. The gentleman at the reception spoke very little English; room is simply furnished and has the smallest flat screen TV I've ever seen. We called from the room to get the Wi-Fi code and the receptionist mumbled something about calling us back with the code and we are still waiting for the call! Although we kept the window closed, at night there were quite a few mosquitos.

It's the worst hotel I've ever stayed. Only one staff was present and he did not know English. In hotel hot water was coming through toilet faucet. When we tried seek help from staff, their GM misbehaved with us. Never go there.

I am from delhi & I am in kollam for 1 week as I am a Training enginner in LAKEFORD SCHOOL, Kollam. I was looking for a Hotel in my budget. But its was quite difficult to search hotel in kollam with different online sites. So as I am using GO IBIBO. I got the Dulex room in Zodiac regency with 61% discount. The hotel Recipient was so good & polite, Helpful kind nature. Rooms are so luxurious i recommend this hotel to other travelers like me & you can get high discount on Goibibo. I reached Zodiac Regency on the Indian Republic Day around 1600 hours. The parking lot was spacious and clean. The front office was dimly lit. It had sprawling sofas and new-looking furniture. The front office staff was courteous. He promptly took us to show the rooms and discussed the facilities in great detail. He even spoke to the auto rickshaw man who was getting impatient while we saw the property. The existence of all amenities (wine and beer bar, restaurant, business centre, etc. ) in the hotel makes it a perfect place for a quick getaway. For five star rating: 1. Better lighting in front office area, 2. Provide more man-power in front-office, one to stay ya front office and another to show the room 3. Avoid using the hotel guard as a concierge/bell-boy (to carry guests' luggage).

This can be a common complaint, but they charge more than mrp for mineral water. Binned the hotel online, so the room was value for money.

Need more upkeep. Front desk staff Alex was ready and ever willing to help as was GM Mr. Prashant. Thank you for making our stay memorable. Basic room facilities such as drinking water or mineral water should be available for every room.

Good service and good rooms.

Will get economic rooms, but the hotel is not easy to find, no nearby food courts avail, only the merit is rooms and their cleaness, the restaurent if the hotel is totally waste, cant have to take even a tea.

Well spaced rooms. Neat and clean. Great Ambiance. Breakfast menu is limited. Same menu is repeated.

It is a comfortable place to Stay staff's are cooperative.

Zodiac residency is a good choice of a quality hotel, all can find comfort of an average A/c and Non. A/c accomodation. Check-in and out was easy. Room was already ready.

Good rooms. Location is not that much good. Family will feel uncomfortable because of beer n wine parlour inside the hotel. From room also we can hear bottle sounds always.

This hotel is located near to District Hospital and by walk one can reach in 10 minutes from Kollam Bus Station. Rooms and very clean. Staff also very polite to customers. They are trying to do there level best to satisfy customer needs. At present restaurant is not available but room service is there. Parking is also available.

Rarely do I give anything less than 3 stars for a place, but my poor experience here really means I am being really generous when I give this place two stars. To start with, this place is run as a place that derives most of its profits from booze (beer and wine). This is evident in everything around here. We could hear the noise made by the tipplers from the beer parlour operated in the floor below, even late into the night. To our shock, the guys in the room right in front of us were having a booze party in their room — the only respite being that they were relatively quiet. To our shock, we could see a bottle of beer in the main restaurant (which is not part of the bar) when we walked in there. We soon realised that the beer was being consumed by the main guy in the reception. So, multiple counts of violations right there — drinking on the job, serving alcohol in restaurant. I had booked four rooms here for my family. Since it was the onset of monsoon, we thought non-AC rooms would be sufficient. However, the rooms were poorly designed and hence was so hot that most of us across the 4 rooms could sleep very little, overnight. What we suspect, looking at the ongoing renovation work, was that they wanted to make money out of those rooms while the AC was being refitted. In addition, the rooms were in dilapidated shape — perhaps they were due for renovation.

It's a good place to stay, good rooms, the restaurant of the hotel is should be avoided. Food was horrible for their standard.

Services provided were good. Complimentary breakfast was provided for all guests. Located near to the Railway station and KSRTC bus stand is also easily accessible.

Very good place close to the Western standards as far as cleaness and quality of the room. The room was quite spacy and the bathroom had hot water at any time. Wi-fi IS EXCELLENT, the best connection available in India so far. Breakfast is included, the staff is very nice. Unfortunately, they have no mosquito nets and in a place like Kollam they are essential.

The services are quick and systematic. Immediate response, instant help & solution to troubles. Excellent room service. Must visit & plan long stay because it provides room at affordable rates, along with discounts on bookings via makemytrip.

Good Hotel, Area is Ok, No Windows — Only Glasses.

Good hotel, probably the best we have seen in India for 6 months. At a price of 1500 rupees per night.
