This place is really good staff is well behaved and also they have their private beach.

This place is really wonderful. Except for the approach road, it is located in a very pleasant area. I go for family holiday tours very often. I have visited many destinations in South India and stayed at different resorts or hotels. But The Malabar Beach Resort was my best experience. The staff is really friendly. I would give 10 out of 10 for the food. They know how to look after their guests; there is no doubt about it. The best this that has happened to me was when we were wondering whether to take a taxi for sightseeing @ 2500/ — per day as the Drive-in Beach @ Kannur is the only one of it's kind in India or to drive myself… I was surprised when the owner himself offered to drive our car to the Drive-In Beach. Really these things don't happen everyday… but he actually drove us himself. The owner, the staff, the rooms, the location … everything's the best. I will give 5 Stars. All should try this Resort at least once.

Awesome place. Lovely food. The owner was particular to pay attention to every detail. Suitable for kids and really great stay.

I booked for November last year but couldn’t go due to personal reasons. I cancelled at the right time and was told I would get my money back. I had to get my bank involved and argued for more than 4 months to get a part of my transaction back. So far, more than 100€ are still missing. Never had such a bad experience with a regular cancellation.

It's a fantastic place to stay in peace and a perfect destiny to be with family. A surprise for us was when we gotta know that this property have a private beach kinds just infront, naturally formed.

The location is awesome. Clean and calm beach. Resort management is not a tourist friendly one. The gates will be closed by 23:00. Which makes it difficult to access outside at that point. Very strict on visitors and literally can't be awake after 11 pm. I would rather say a hostel or PG.

The place is clean and well maintained rooms. The owner takes individual attention to guests. The food is good and tasty, with options for vegetarians. The place is good to relax next to beach. Its better to reach using own vehicle / car, the last mile has narrow roads but this is expected as land drops down to beach.

Approach: off the road — not the most accessible of properties. Property — mix of cottages and rooms. Neat and clean and set amidst natural fauna. Free Wi-Fi available. It is a 9 room property so expect a lot of personal attention by the staff and the owner. Service & Food: the Support staff is very helpful and the owner is around the corner to help make your stay as comfortable as possible. Food is made to order and the quality is outstanding.

Ambience is good. If you're travelling with family, it will be fine. If you're with friends and intent to party over night and make noise, you'll find it difficult here (few houses are there nearby. The staff told that if much noise is heard from resort, the neighbours will directly call police! :) ). The facility in the room is not upto the expectation — cost of room is 5000 (contains 1 double cot and 1 single cot). Beach is very nearby and is accessible easily, which is a good thing. Food — ok, not bad. The locks in most of the bathrooms (we went as a group and rented 4 rooms) were already broken — no action was taken even though we informed the staff. TV — no cable connection was there — but, don't expect any reduction in rent. They recharge daily and there was some issue with internet recharge (this is what the staff told). Overall, fine location.

Good place for a weekend getaway. Very close to a secluded beach.

Calm and quiet place. Very welcoming host. The access to the resort is the only challenge. Extremely narrow roads.

The resort is beautifully located, just 30 seconds walking distance from the beach. Beach is visible from the 1st floor rooms. The view during sunrise and sunset is amazing.

Hospitality — 4/5 Food — 4/5 Can be a little reasonable. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay. Thanks to Sunil, Rashid & Rohit. The beach is just 100m away from the rooms, the way to beach is rough. 6km away from Muzhapillangad drive-in beach. Can also visit St. Angelo's fort, nearby. Bekal fort, Kasargoad is 80km from here. Suggestions/Improvements were conveyed to the management & he took it positively.

Super clean, great food, comfortable air conditioned rooms and hot showers. Close to a nice beach.

The resort is very near to the shoreline of the thotadda beach so u r gonna love it … the environment is really epic the sound of the wave makes it a better option compared to other resorts. And the beach which is near it is very secluded and FYI the best beach for swimming is menakkam or chal beach. Near kanpur.

They cancelled paid booking w. O notice when called yatra they told amount has been released long back (i trust yatra as I have booked hotels in Dubai and resorts in Thailand and few hotels during domestic trip through them never faced this problem) later with bit argument got a room where AC was not working. Definitely not a gud start after traveling for 8 hrs. As per food delicious but only one nonveg item was prepared being n. Vegetarian except more non veg items during vacation:-). No network to those who wish to browse or work, for us it was not a problem. In review I read in TripAdvisor they have pool but they don't have pool not even for kids. Beach is very close to the resort.

It was really a nyc place soo quiet n remoteful n secured place… few min walk to private beach… we had a good view from the balcony also… my wife really enjoyed the dnr… they always gav us the best dnr… owner suraj n manager sanoj n other staffs wr really friendly n always helpful… food wr really delicious.
