Poor management, except fir reception, upper floors reek of mould, no lights turned on even well past 6 pm causing dark corridors, already spooky with the smell. It's an old run down place ill managed by poorly trained and some really rude North Indian staff. I git the shock upon seeing the dirtiest toilet seat in any hotel or house fir that matter. Immediately complained about dirty toilet seats upon checkin in to the allowed room and they started arguing that it's clean enough, despite being clearly covered in muck. Decided to change the room after going down with my luggage myself as the staff would not listen and argued by calling more rude staff in to support their theory. I went back to the reception and complained of staff's piss poor attitude towards guests. I realised that the price I paid for a night was 1000 rupees more than that advertised online. Hence feel cheated by the front desk staff too. Checked out early right after a very cold breakfast. Overall a bad experience and I would never come back here.

This is a hotel from 80s without much change. Needs lot of refurbishment. Bathroom is in bad shape. Average on cleanliness. Breakfast was good with many options. Limited parking is also available. Hot water is available in bathroom. Quality of towel was not good.

It is one another good hotel near to NPOL and having breakfast as complimentary. Staffs are good. But I wouldn't advise to take extra bed, that may have bedbugs.

Probably one of the best rooftop bars in Kochi. Hotel hill view is known for this rooftop bar. All in all chill ambience with good food and drinks. They also screen matches sometimes. Decent rates also.

A good place to sit and enjoy your drink. I'm saying about roof top. Rates are OK and food is good. The only and serious concern is the toilet. It is very small and difficult to for yourself inside it. Also wash basins are leaky. Whole anoint of water fell on my legs wwhike washing my hands. But apart from these two a good hotel with good ambience.

Nice roof top resto bar. Nice ambience, cool breeze, projector and screen (IPL matches) and nice service. I have not experienced the rooms.

Overall a GOOD hotel in the town of Kakanad. Though things are a little expensive here, they provide you with the best facilities in town. They come with a complementary breakfast which is available from 7:30am to 9:00am (a buffet with good hot native foods). But we will have to pay an extra fee for lunch and dinner. Usually the checkout time is 12pm but we can extend the time for free (without any additional charges) if there isn't heavy booking. The room and bathroom are neat and clean, they also provide laundry service. P. S. The room which I got was in the third floor… but when I looked up the ceiling of my room (the place where the fan is joint to the ceiling) there was a small hole in it… I don't know whether the hole was a part of a mistake or… for something else… :-

Best in class rooms and great service. Clean and always fresh. Rooftop bar is simply superb and best in the town.

Ozone their roof top Bar, I really. Like. This please. It would be more attractive if they would have included Cocktails in thier bar menu. Customer service is fare. Food is average.

A decent roof top restaurant with good service and they have had a recent makeover aiding in improving the ambience. The food is decent. I love their lollipops. The service is prompt with the managers always at hand for any assistance. They have to improve the toilet though… Its a cramped one.

Ambience of hotel was good but and room service was also good.

The roof top bar is really a wonderful place. Safe for women as no locals get there. Food is above average and the best part is that they serve not local alcohols in branded bottles, but the originals.

The rooms were nice but which hotel would treat guests by switching off the power supply for three hours. We pay for a whole day including electricity. Given that we checked in late evening and were gone before 11 the next morning what possible reason can there be to do so.

I am a frequent visit customer for Hill View restaurant. Till last month I faced parking issue, because they had only 3 parking slot for cars. But now Hill view has a very big parking place exact opposite of the hotel. Also the rooftop restaurant is restructured with new colors and seat arrangements. Also they have 2 fixed big screen for live matches.

Retro Lounge in the hotel is a Okay place. Not too big, just 4-6 tables. Can get a bit loud and noisy. Service is very poor. Was managed by one person only. Very limited options from the food menu. I tried Kerala Parantha with Mutton Nadan Curry. Was okay in taste. Ozone Rooftop- I'm increasing the star for this outlet, for its hospitality and service!

I visited hotel hill view today, its view is not massive but experience was great. Food is awesome specially chicken biriyani, fried rive&beef fry, we all are enjoyed the food&service.

Its was a nice experience here, especially thalli rice and fish curry… Its was delicious. Excellent service as well.

Went for dinner and drinks… food was bad the fish was not fresh felt like it was kept frozen for some time… the service was also poor they took a long time to get the food and the serving staff were all busy with a game on the screen so we had a tough time getting their attention to place orders. Overall not so good an experience.

Hill View is a very good economical business hotel located in Kochi. The rooms here are tidy and clean. Only one issue was there was bad odor in the bath. Not in the toilet but in the bath. The house keeping tried to sort out the issue using a room freshener but was of no use. They have a tea kettle in the room where you can prepare your own tea. Towel though used were clean. Toiletries are provided. Television is provided with most of the view channels and languages. Rooms and the corridor are wide and are no smoking areas. It would be 6/10. Breakfast was really good. A buffet with variety of south varieties, continental and juice. I would say 8/10. Hill view also has a Bar inside. Didn't get more information on the same. There are also a few good restaurants around.

This also comes with breakfast included n the choice of food is good Don’t compare with a 5 star or dabha This is a restaurant with good breakfast ac n bar Service is same as all other hotels The room service closes at 10pm n we were occupying 6 rooms left without water. finally after so many requests we were given water! Still a good hotel.

Nice rooms, Wi-Fi not accessible to all rooms. Good housekeeping. Good food.

Nice hotel. Good service and hospitality. Housekeeping guys are always cooperative and quick. Complimentary breakfast is at its best.

Roof top ambiance is good… Bit costlier than comparable options.

Hotel hill view has a very limited parking space. I went there to use their roof top open bar which is not that greatly maintained. For the same price you can get much better ambience in the nearby bars.

Don't get fooled by the lobby. The lobby looks impressive but the room is in rundown condition. The bedsheets they served was not clean as well. And this hotel has weird guest policy where in the males can't have female guests and vice versa. The reception was just a mere moral police who doesn't even respond to your queries. The have not even kept enough batteries for the remote of the TV an ac to function.

Perfect rooms, neat and clean. Bar facility also available. Roof top bar and bear is nice. Its a pretty good atmosphere here. Good servicing and tasty chicken dishes but veg items aee not good as much.

Food quality was not the best, but it was ok, hall is enough for small functions. Very less parking space. It's just an average hotel.

The hall was sufficient for our function; at a reasonable rate too. Had good food. Parking area might be a problem.

The first thing that comes to my mind is their mind-blowing beef fry:). Nice food especially their lunch is excellent. Nice roof top ambience. They also have a small hall for lill parties.

It's a standard hotel. Near to info park.

I ordered takeout from here. They didn't even keep a spoon in the packaging. And the food was also not upto the standards.

I'd been to the ground floor restaurant for lunch. Preferred Indian breads and vegetarian dishes. Suggested and served Chapatis and cottage cheese dish were fabulous. Bread was soft, cottage cheese was fresh and yummy.

Hotel Hill view is a luxurious, awesome place to be. Everything is simply perfect.

An appraisal on the boarding aspect; lodging I have not explored. A middle of the road modest eating place with a fair buffet option for both lunch and dinner. Food is average in terms of the taste quotient. Also boasts of two bars one of them a fairly nice family bar and a Coffee Shop. Popular and crowded in the evenings. Service in the Coffee Shop is mostly inconsistent and erratic. Finding parking is difficult at times. For what is being offered the price is moderately expensive. Not bad but definitely not a great option. An if, further down the road the more appetising and modestly priced 'Paramount' is full — dining option.
