Great setting, beautiful gardens and fabulous food.

Top notch on all accounts, even comfortable chairs in the garden, a rarity in India.

Beautiful pool view and live traditional music, kind staff and manager, top service experience, nice meeting their chef as well, food presentation so beautifully done thank you.

Such a wonderful and calm place to stay and a great launch pad to see all that Cochin has to offer, also some of the best food we have ever had in India, definitely 5* in our minds… we are staying again next year, can’t wait.

Lovely little guest house. Basic rooms but clean and perfect for budget travellers. Roof terrace to sit and read or write. Staff are lovely and helpful. The nightwatchman is a dude. In-house travel agency is very useful for booking all the usual trips to the backwaters and dance rituals. Although if you want the better backwater trip avoid the big tourist boats and go rogue, get the Aleppey to Kollam local ferry that makes its way through villages and waterways.

Location is excellent for old town and seafront and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Had a standard fare low cost room with a bed and fan. (There was also a TV but I didn't use it for the duration of my stay). Rooms could do with a new touch of paint and some care. Only 1 power outlet. In my room there was a simple naked bulb for lighting. Lack of internet penetration and service — only available until 5pm and the signal did not reach my room.

This is a very nice place to stay… And very helpful travel desk in the loby.
