The location of the resort is excellent. The staff needs to learn a bit of manners. Please ensure that there is no roadwork going on when you are visiting there. The resort restaurant is connected by road to the rooms and a shuttle is available. However if work is going on the road then it spoils everything.

Club Mahindra, Munnar is a difficult destination, especially in the rainy season, it took us five hours from Cochin airport to reach Club Mahindra because we had to take a round about road and then the cottages we got were very windy and the branches of trees banged against the windows through the night, and when one of the windows opened, a big branch swept inside the room which was scary. The next day we managed to get better cottages. The food at the resort was good and also the service, but I feel other Club Mahindra resorts are much better than this one.

Visited this property 2nd time, it's as good as it was before. The hotel units are in reception building, but good view is from member only apartments. You don't need to go anywhere to see tea gardens. Food is good as well, took breakfast and dinner package. Overall nice experience.

Superb location. There are two properties of CM at Munnar. One is called Club Mahindra Munnar (or Lake View) and the other is Mount Serene. The former is better if you want a spacious resort with good view rooms. Mount Serene is for the more peace-loving crowd. Hospitality, service and food are all at par with CM standards.

Great place away from the buzz of the city. Good rooms that include a room heater. Non A/c rooms. Air conditioner not required. Helpful staff. Great vegetarian food. Jain food also available.

This resort is very well maintained. Upkeep is good. As this resort is new one, and opened only two years ago. As this resort is located in a more elevated place than adjacent resorts the airial view is very good. Rooms and suites are very good and broad enough to stay with family. There is a small function hall which is usually used for conferences. As this being a new one, It has an edge over the adjacent resorts. It is a nice place to stay and enjoy.

This place has amazing location. View from room is outstanding. However there are some issues with this place. 1. Reaching here from Cochin airport is a nightmare. There is road construction going on so you need to wait till 6 pm to come through that route. There is another road but that is having steep road and drivers don’t take that. This road remain close from 9 am to 6 pm 2. If you get room not close to main building, you need to take their internal vehicle to reach there. While going up you may get vehicle on 2-3 run but while coming down you need to sometime wait for 25-30 mins as all vehicles come full from top 3. Food is very expensive but you do not have any option as there are no other restaurants near by This place is not suitable for aged people and people with limited mobility.   Staff is cooperative, food quality and variety is very good. Spa is very expensive.

It's the sort of place that one expects from Club Mahindra. However, I have been noticing that all their properties are fairly away from wherever they are described to be located. While this adds to the charm by being "far from the madding crowd", the problem is that the last few kilometers approach to many, many of their properties are literally a nightmare. May not be be design, but one would like to see some properties to which there is good last mile connectivity by road.

Good location, nice view and good rooms. Parking place not adequate. Rooms are spread over vast area and going to reasutarant and other activities only by shuttle services. It kind of restricts your activities.

The location and the view from the resort is awesome… Staff are well trained and courteous. Smiling staffs makes your stay nice…

I was completely disappointed with the food, standard and options are drastically come down in quality. It's no longer worth the money. The 1 star is only for the place and room quality. Will have second thought about taking the food package in future.

This resort is situated in the outskirts of the city. These are two resorts nearby. One is at the top of the hill and the other one is at the bottom. Upper one is small but scenic. Especially in the rainy season, views are breathtaking. Lower one Resort is big and better. Here you have different accommodation types too. No A. C. In the rooms. Don't leave windows or doors open as there are many monkeys around. They steal food items and valuables. Plz avoid in summer season.

The location is breathtaking beautiful. If your cottage is facing the lake you will get awesome views in the morning. It has activities for children and sitouts for adults. The buffet has great variety especially the breakfast. The rooms are large and very well designed. You can easily spend 2 to 3 nights here. Room service can be a little tricky because the cottages are away from the main building. All the tourist destination points are nearby.

Serene, pollution free. Loved the resort. Couldn't leave it after two day stay. We drove to this place. The roads are a little difficult to drive if you aren't experienced.

The hotel is located on a hill facing beautiful tea plantations. Trekking to the top of the hill will reward you with fresh vistas of a lake surrounded by green everywhere. Enjoyable stay! Restaurants in the hotel are unreasonably priced. Other eating options available nearby.

Firstly its a mother property of Club Mahindra. The location of Studio, 1BR & 2BR wooden Apartments is just perfect! The view is awesome, complete green desert and then the lake. Its location is on the way to Mount Serene, another newly come up property of Club Mahindra. A must visit to this place if you are a member of Club Mahindra.

Great resort to stay in. Very good scenery from the hotel. The staffs are one of the best in the hotels of munnar. The room are also very neat and clean and the surroundings too. The rooms are very big. And the is every facility available. The foods are also good. They provide a lot of meal options. One would just love to stay over here for a holiday in munnar. But however the rates are a bit high for guests and a lot less for members. This is a thing to notice for many people who are not a member of club Mahindra.

It's one of the best club Mahindra properties. Scenicly located amidst the tea plantations it's majestic in the winters. Staff is very courteous and the stay was made very privileged. The dinner spread might not delight a north Indian taste bud, but it was good. Even a walk outside or inside the resort will freshen you up big time. Fun activities are there for family and kids…

Fantastic place to stay. Excellent views from the cottages. This resort belongs to the Club Mahindra Group and is in chinnakal. You will be surrounded by lush tea gardens and green mountains. Excellent place for a family vacation. Service is excellent.

Expensive place. Not worth the effort or money to reach this place. Accommodations a clean and of good class. But the food is a huge let down. An expensive fare, that is not worth the quality. It is the same that one would get in any of the ordinary buffets one can find an urban city. Very few local dishes with no authentic feel. Felt like just another north indian joint in middle of Kerala. Never will I set foot in a Mahindra property just because food means a lot to me.

Beautiful place to stay and located on hill top. Food I would suggest to explore outside as spread and quality both doesn’t justify the price. Try to explore the hilltop lake near the resort, will take 15-20min trekking to reach the place.

One of the oldest, flagship properties of Club Mahendra beautifully maintained and expanded over the years. Little too far from the town that makes emergency medicines difficult to find. Discounting such mishaps one will never regret coming here given the picturesque tea gardens that they need to dissect while reaching the place or leaving towards Munnar town. The roads may not be the best but the surroundings and environment compensates for everything that one might be dissatisfied with. The town has its own charm with a beautiful church, small eateries and spice gardens on the way to Cochin. Local sight seeing includes lakes and gardens. A must visit during a trip to The God's own Country.

Cozy cottages on the side of a hillock with good privacy. Overall amenities and environment is excellent. Restaurants inside the property are on the costlier side though. Great for a weekend escapade.

Located at the hill top this resort has best location and views than all the nearby resorts. Clouds and fog are best part you get to experience during the visit. Nights are cold and foggy which adds to the beauty of the place. Rooms are pretty good as expected from the resort and has awesome view from the room balcony. Food is good but very expensive. Overall we loved the stay over there.

Amazing resort by Club Mahindra valley facing room and well maintained. The food is probably costly here. But there are near by restaurants why serve local food. The road to reach is a scenic but a narrow one at places. I would definitely recommend a visit once.

Loved the place. The room we booked was spacious and the service we got was amazing. We were literally treated as Kings by the restaurant staff. The activities section was fun too. On the whole a five star experience.!

We have visited this place as a member of club mahindra. The serene greenery of munnar enchanted us at the first sight. Next, the club mahindra lakeview. What should I say about this hotel. No words for me. We stayed in a studio apartment in the first floor. The beautiful sunrise over the frozen clouds covering the sitakund lake just mesmerised us next morning. We enjoyed this heavenly moment from our balcony. The restaurant is superb. We satisfied our tongue buds with numerous tasty healthy dishes from different cuisines including the local keralian favourites. The service, facility, amusements. Everything of this resort is up to the mark, even more than that as per our view. We visited all the sight seeing spots in munnar (thanks to Mr. Raju-the local cab owner). Our kid enjoyed her each evening at the recreation room. The resort is so excellent that we will love to come back here again and again. No complaint at all. Room Tip: each and every room has a sitting area/balcony looking over the lush green tea gardens and the lake…

Beautiful place to stay. All rooms face the valley. The soft adventure are great for kids. The trainer Akmal is very good at the adventure zone. The front desk and travel desk are very resourceful. Food is very poor quality. Please ensure to make some alternative food arrangements.

It's located in a very picturesque setting… Amazing view all over. A little difficult to get to and the food prices are through the roof… Over all had a good experience.

Terrible customer service, Not worthy after all the travel from munnar. Too away from munnar and everyday you will endup in the misty roads to the place which is risky travel (not adventurous)

Excellent place to relax if travelling from cochin there are direct buses to munnar if from alwa there is a direct bus to club mahindra munnar at 7.30 am even from mumar there are jeeps taking to club mahindra there are resturant outside the resort and you can get your daily supply needs easily avaialble coming to the city you can travel buy the jeep it is ecomical.

Very well located resort. Picturesque surrounding. Especially, the manicured tea gardens. Best place to unwind with family and friends. Not suitable for those who want a mall or lots of crowd around. Early morning walk along the gentle slopes is so refreshing.

The one bed room resort and the surrounding nature is beautiful. The sofa that doubles as bed in living room is horrible. Hurts the back. They don't have enough towels and enough storage for their supplies to provide for guests. Have to wait three hours to get towels, til the dirty ones dry. The activity room is really bad, like a very low class school computer room. The equipment is bad, no chairs and practically no games, lucky to not see cockroaches and mice. The restaurant ala carte options, some of them are really bad. The buffet is good, even though the price is high. The chefs dont seem to have much training in individual dishesi n the menu. No pool or hot tub. Employs a lot of girls from. North east who barely speak English. The male staff and the local Kerala staff is OK. Lot of taxis outside with published rates for tourists. Everything is about commission here. Wonder if you eat at their restaurant once and come back somebody gets comission. Since the customers are north Indians they cannot get away with too much fleecing and have to try to fleece the occasional ones they can get away with. There are basically no activities in the resort. Just come with family and spend peaceful days looking at the hills and beauty. Do not do the taxi thing more than once. Take the government bus to Munnar, they will not tell you the time of it, it goes from power house one km away. The Kerala govt bus is more comfortable and less back breaking. This place is a beautiful spot.

For a property like this to provide room Based Wi-Fi/Broadband is hardly an issue. They can charge for the service. Each time one need not go to the bar or dining area.

Awesome though I'm coming here the 2nd time it was a really good experience the food the fish the activity centre everything was awesome.

A proper maintained resort. Loved the food. Great hospitality. The views from the resort is excellent. The resort is 20kms from Munnar, 1 hr drive due to narrow & curvy road. Try to avoid driving after 6pm.

Best place for family to hangout with. Dont think twice just come and enjoy. Take buffet breakfast and dinner only. Don't take luch as you probably won't to go for site seeing. And if ur proper hard drinker bring your own liquor as its tooo expensive here. Best time you will have in long time I promise. Best cleanliness and services in munnar you will get. Another best option from view point of view is Ayur county in front of club mahindra. Best valley view in all possible hotels in munnar.

We have been to munnar /club mahindra for six days. We have found two specialties (1) cleanliness (2) place without mosquities. Moreover the persons at grocery store, reception. Buffe are assisting, cooperative and polite. I think it is a good tradition of club mahindra to win the hearts. We are again planning.
