Funky Art Beach House Bed and Breakfast

This is a wonderful place and such a beautiful home. We had a great stay there with our fruendst. The home is super clean, the linens and towels were fresh, We loved how spacious, comfortable and well decorated the house was. It was nice that we could cook our own meals in that well equipped kitchen that had everything we needed. The beach was only a few steps away and we were able to go for walks at the beach every morning.   I highly recommend this place to anyone and hope we can visit again!

A nice and calm beach house at nominal cost.

Hammocks and beach shacks are good. But the rooms are very dingy and don't really make you want to hang out. Our room had the previous occupants dirty clothes left in the bathroom which clearly hadn't been cleaned and the whole place was just a bit dirty. If you don't mind that or the local wildlife (ants nest in the bathroom and rats in the beach shack walls) then the place is very good value, right next to the beach and the best place to eat and drink in town (Catamaran), and the staff are super friendly, very helpful and damn good folk.

Very cool place… Don't look for luxury. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Two wheels rental on site atypical place and fun we spent two very pleasant days.

Placed opposite to the beach. Owner is cool and if you're looking for cheap room to stay for night this is the good place. Rooms are full of insects and are small. Low budget destination.

Nice host and value for money.

Awesome place, times can stand still there. We intended to stay 3 nights, but spend 6 days at Sagar's place. Staff is super friendly and always available, thank you Mowgli and Pradur. Other guest are easy going too. Sagar organised a housbout to watch the famous annual boat race from the backwaters, together with other "bnb's". We can only recommend to go there, it is worth it. Great location. Sagar is an amazing guy. We shared stories over green tea. Great place to stay for solo travellers and backpackers.

It is one of the most chilled out places I have ever stayed in, truly a funky art beach house, best suited for youngsters and backpackers.

Great location — you could say it's almost on the beach. Unfortunately the locals do not seem to take care of this great treasure and it is littered and there are plenty of stray dogs around too (although they seemed harmless). The house itself has a very easy going attitude about it. However I wonder if it is a bit too much. The room we got (could be that other rooms are better kept) did not have basic amenities like cloth hangers or any storage. We had to make use of a small table in the room for this. The ceiling fan was dirty and seemed to have blades the wrong way (so no air flow downwards) — luckily they provided a table fan. But this plugged in to the only plug point in the room which meant we could either charge our phones or have some airflow in the room. On the positive side, the rooms were relatively cheap, so perhaps the above negatives can be overlooked if all you care about is a place to rest. There is a cafe right across the house but we didn't use it. If you are after some good food, try Hotel Hassans few mins drive from the house. On the whole, I might still go here as the beach at night (when you can't see the litter) is great.

Nice bamboo huts, one step from Beach. Sagar (the owner) was helping us in many things. He and his coworker doing good jobs!

Meet SAGAR, if he's still there, and you will understand why I put them 5 stars.

A nice place with two choices of rooms (outside in bungalows, or inside with normal rooms) and a very nicr owner, Saga! It's sweet because it's just near the beach, so you can see it anytime, but this view has a cost: being far of the city center. Even with this, you'll have a goid time because you can order food from very good restaurants from here (ask Saga) and they will give you bicycles if you need. They also can provide a great backwater trip, very peaceful with breakfast and lunch with the boat driver, in his house for breakfast and in a local canteen for lunch. We had a good time, we recommend this place :-)

We had a blast here, been a while and we still think of saga and his friends and hope to return ASAP! :)
