We went there for lunch on a Monday afternoon. A LA care and buffet was available. We opted for the buffet lunch. There was a good variety of food and it tasted real good. Probably the best place to eat in Shimoga if you're coming from a city environment. The buffet costs 251 per head and is totally worth it.

Hotel is in Shivamogga (Karnataka) … But none of the hotel staff know kannada … Saare Delhi wale hi the. Not all people who visit here know hindi, keep a kannada speaking staff. Food was good.

It was just perfect amd good. All amenities were satisfying. Breakfast was good. Overall good experience…

Very decent place to stay for family. Good food and comfortable service.

I stayed here for one day with my family, room was very clean and well maintained. There is a restuarant called Rice bowl it offers buffet here we had lunch and dinner. Very limited verities. Taste of food was average. Over priced for average food it is expensive not worth the price. Ambience is also that great.

Gave me a very small room though I booked for family. Restaurant is veg with 350 rupees buffet. Staff are cordial.

The rooms are spacious and excellent, just as in the photos by the hotel. However the one trouble is the Wi-Fi (speeds being slow and their floor having no internet in spite of specifically asking for it before booking). And early check-in even on a rather low occupancy day needed negotiation and was at an additional cost demand. I got upgraded to a Suite, as the executive rooms weren't available. So didn't feel as bad.

Decent place, but does need some upkeep — maintenance needs much to be desired, there is always something off. Kitchen and Room Service are better departments.

Accommodation is good. Food is average. My other colleagues found the food to also be of good quality. So my experience was probably one off.

Very polite staff. Breakfast was also tasty. Rooms are neatly maintained. Enjoyed the stay here.

I did attend a function in Clarks Inn and felt very comfortable, all arrangements were well organized including a satisfying lunch. It has decent Parking space for around 15-20 cars.

Good hotel. Great food. The suite rooms even have a private jacuzzi… Service is excellent, clean rooms and bathrooms, though rooms are small.

Good one in place like shimoga. Very well maintained, frequent food festivals… Rice Bowl is best added feature.

The food in just amazing. The only drawback is that its vegetarian. But the taste and quality is very good. The stay is very comfortable and the service is excellent. And a very good place for families.

Well maintained hotel. Neat and tidy. Good room layout, sufficient storage space. Small but we'll maintained bathrooms. Good breakfast. Booked via Makemytrip and worth the tariff.

Very Nice place to stay and Dine. The vegetarian joint Rice Bowl is very good. Personally complimented the Chef for excellent food varieties and taste.

The in house restaurant rice bowl serves only vegetarian food but worth trying every dish in the restaurant. Superb food quality, taste and autheticity. Professional staff who are very well mannered and a good idea of the food they serve (makes a huge difference of they have amazing food). Take-out is available but trying the food in the restaurant has huge impact because their presentation simply sweeps you away with the elegance and style of the chefs. Chefs of Rice bowl, thankyou for great food and experience.

Its a perfect hotel to stay. Families, groups, solo. Business. Perfect food. Staff is just amazing.

Room I stayed was good with balcony. Room was not ready when ireached but they offered me an upgrade to suite. Suite don't have balcony so I waited 30mnts for balcony room. No non veg. Food is good.

The hotel is very near to railway station and they provide good vegetarian food for reasonable price. They also have buffet system.

The rooms are very neat and clean. For de price tat I booked it online, this was worth much more. There is only veg restaurant but the food wz OK. The service was excellent. The front desk people were very helpful. Suited for executive as well as family stay.

One of the finest hotels in shimoga. A 5 min walk from railway station. Delicious breakfast of my life. Odd-times staff cannot speak any language except kannada… dats d only backdrop. Price of lunch n dinner is high for its taste wen compared to nearby hotels such as royal orchid etc.

Stayed with family on 2/10/14 — 4/10/14. Cozy rooms, friendly staff, well maintained and clean rooms. Though it was busy day staff took personal care by helping with language, escorting to room, welcome letter by general manager, sort of special and unexpected experience in place like shimoga Food was excellent with good quality and presentation but on expensive side. We were also offered with festival special buffet which was good again this time with reasonable pricing. Nice reception by Santosh, Felix, Vishnu, Shruthi (Ask for one of these guys they will make you feel homely) Will refer the Hotel to each and every friend or family who are willing to travel to shimoga.
