We loved our stay ♥️ felt very welcome. In the middle of the jungle, we loved the vibe, super nice family, and great food. Arjun is super friendly and took care of us, gave us many recommendations, organised a car and brought us on a tour of his coffee plantation.
Later on we stayed in a nearby resort with theoretically way more “comfort” but found our first experience here way more unique and cosy. Just relaxing on the terrace with the sounds of the nature around was a full on experience. Thank you!

My husband and I recently stayed at the Calamondinn Bungalow and I must say that it was a wonderful experience. A beautiful heritage building amidst lush greenery, the place has all that one needs to unwind, recoup and get recharged.
Immaculately planned interiors is a blend of aesthetic and contemporary finesse which entices one to explore every corner of the place.
Well maintained and clean rooms with fresh linen is what was captivating. Every meal had variety and was scrumptious. Adding to all this were the hosts, who were hospitable and made us feel at home. The ever smiling and friendly staff speaks volumes about their hospitality.
Waking up to the chirping birds and going to bed after gazing at the clear skies was the icing on the cake. I can confidently say that Calamondinn is a serene and loving experience for every soul who is looking for a getaway to bounce back totally rejuvenated.

I stayed at the Calamondinn bungalow with my parents and it was an extremely heart-warming experience. The stunning property is located in the midst of coffee plantations and the greenery all around the villa is exactly what we were looking for. The colonial-era villa is very tastefully done up and everything fits perfectly-from comfortable furniture to aesthetic lighting. Everything was very homely. Arjun, the host, looked after us so well and went out of his way to ensure that we have a good time in Coorg. I have hardly come across people who take so much personal interest. The hospitality that we received from Arjun and his mother will stay with us forever. The food at Calamondinn was the best thing about our trip. We used to look forward to our meals as the staff and Arjun's mother prepared the food with so much love! It felt like I found another home and I definitely wish to stay at Calamondinn again.

What ended up being a last minute plan for a long weekend getaway, led us to an extended trip (by a day) at this lovely property! This old-charmed property gives you the right amount of quietness, space and aesthetics which make you feel at ease. The home cooked food was excellent for both breakfast and dinner and Arjun ensured that we were well oriented with the history of the house! The rooms and common areas are maintained well and the board/games, book shelves (yes, Nigela Lawson features here as well) were a nice addition. We went back with some good memories and new friends and not to forget, the pawesome pleasantries from Berty and Brandy! Don't forget to ask for a barbeque set up, if you've got larger company.
Lastly, thre Gandigoppa busstop is also just a 15 min ride away by auto, making it easy to commute even if you travel by bus. Looking visiting this property again!

Amazing place, very well made.

Beautiful place that's well maintained. Spacious bungalow hosted by two wonderful people. I loved the fact that they served gluten free food. Highly recommend it. The only let down is that jio and vodafone have zero network coverage. But that's not just at the bungalow it's in that entire surrounding area. Overall, brilliant experience!

A perfect homestay experience in the middle of coffee plantations. Luxurious, spacious and very well maintained bungalow, calm environment, lush greenery, out of this world food and extremely charming hosts. Visit it once to experience what a perfect homestay should be like. I bet you'll keep coming back time and again.
