We visited this hotel to try the buffet at Limelight and had a great experience. It was one of the best buffets that I have ever had. The pizzas are freshly baked in front of your eyes in the open oven. There's a wide variety of cheese to choose from. Also, you have various kinds of breads and desserts. Apartment from European food, even the Indian counter had great dishes. Also, the interiors are very classy and well lit. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Full marks!

Good ambience but the food at limelight is not gr8… The service is good and so is the location… The food was a very big disappointment… The security guard (the guy with a handlebar mustache in the reception gate) is also very friendly and gives a nice and warm welcome when we enter… Overall! I loved this place.

The facilities are really good and almost all amenities you expect from a hotel you find here. The food is good but not great! The only annoying part is that all the lights in the room have a single switch! And also their key cards can get very frustrating! The hotel staff are really nice and helpful in all ways. Overall it was a decent stay.

A very good hotel with a great ambience. The people working are very humble and graceful. A rich look to the surrounding with a Golf course right next to it. Multiple conference of training halls for official meetings and gathering. Located in one of the very busy area and easy connectivity to other places in the city.

The place is pleasant. Beautiful ambience. The buffet has a good variety, though the service at the buffet could be improved. Extremely a lot of guests visited and it was difficult to handle the place. The ordered dishes were not given at all. But overall, the cleanliness, and views from the rooms is pretty.

The property is a little old so maintenance work was on when we visited. The service standards could be improved though. The hotel staff are not as prompt so sometimes as a customer you would need to follow up with them many times for even simple things as the hotel sending the reservation confirmation mail to the customers. The food served is good and there is live ghazal during weekends. The breakfast spread was really amazing though! Good for a weekend if you just want to go and relax and haven't found better properties.

This hotel is tucked in a corner close to Karnataka Golf Association. Though the exterior looks extremely amazing but somehow the interior doesn’t go with the exterior. There are some flaws in the interior design. The stuffs are very cooperative and good and always ready to assist. The food is not so good but the spread is huge. The limelight restaurant is a decent place for buffet lunch or breakfast. Even the outdoor seating looks relaxed and inviting.

I had a beautiful stay over here for two weeks. Starting from the security to the hosts, has a pleasing attitude that we forget all hurdles of the day and enjoy the stay. They have a pretty fast service that whenever we get stuck over something, we get offered with help the very moment. The food, hygiene and restaurant service deserve a 5 star and the balcony view from my room opened to a beautiful golf course which offered a silent and peaceful stay.

Attended a wedding reception here. Pretty decent place with good food and ambience. The outdoor setting could have been improved a bit. Would advise not to host an outdoor buffet because of the teeming mosquitoes. Management should take this into consideration next time.

Chic and trendy place for office conferences and seminars. Loved the ambience, food and the greenery around. Maintained well. The only issue could be a bit of tiny winy mosquitoes in evening, which comes with the greenery. But I did see them do fogging and taking care. Apart from this a cool place to chill and have some fun too!

The hotel is going through a wonderful renovation… upgrading the rooms and lobby. But don't let this put you off as I think this hotel is a little gem. The staff treat you like part of the family and give 150%. The food is delicious. And the heated rooftop pool is a brilliant place to relax. Go and enjoy!

I went there for breakfast. Food was great. Service was also excellent. I loved the ambience.

Some rooms are old and refurbished. They give a old smell and feeling. New rooms look good. Complimentary breakfast is satisfactory and there are ample choices. Rooftop swimming pool has a good ambience.

Limelight has never been a tony restaurant at, say, The Ritz Carlton or even The Leela. It was this corner restaurant at the end of an alley that had welcoming lights (and decor), a friendly staff, and a breakfast menu that was decent. while the alley hasn't changed, Limelight has. The decor is now louder, the grass outside the door now hosting an arrangement of tables and chairs, the staff either slow or unencouraging or both. we requested tables on what used to be a lawn outside the main door. We received the most condescending denial a hotel staff can give you. The same guy took it upon himself to turn a regular cold coffee into a chocolate-syrup-topped cold coffee. He was kind enough to exchange it for our original order of a cold coffee. Then the self-same guy (or his twin) decided to goof up the billing by doing the math wrong (why one would need to do mental maths when one has a billing system ready is beyond me) and charged us 100 bucks less. Of course, he chased after us till the gate to get the card swiped again. the three stars are for the food. The croissants were great and the cold coffee was strong. If not for the food, this would have been a one-star experience.

Great location right in heart of the city. Situated near golf course and is great place to stay. Rooms are spacious and well looked after. Nicely done up restaurant… Option to sit in open. Food quality is superb… Staff is very courteous and humble.

The ambience is really good and is one of the best places for a Christmas brunch (we go every year). The food is continental and is really good. The restraunt has a really good variety of food and the outdoor setting is great for a lazy Sunday afternoon. There is a lawn too for kids to play with multiple activities. The service is above average. I am unsure about the rooms and a stay. I would recommend for a weekend brunch!

Very beautiful hotel. Very high class and posh. It has a heated swimming pool, outdoor gazebos, a pub and convention hall. The rooms are great and surprisingly affordable. All in all a 5 star place but only problem is that the food is very average for such a high class place.

Food is awesome. Service rather slow. But lovely place to hang around if you have time. Mosquitoes are scary a bit though they have odomos spray and they keep doing the smoke thing once in a while. Staff are well trained and courteous and so is the Manager. Nice experience — would go there again for sure in sometime :)

As the name says this hotel looks very very royal! Ambience of this place is just amazing. The staff here is super friendly. Had been here for a training program. All the facilities were just fine. Food was not that good. Just an average taste. Only reason to go this place is because of its ambience.

Clean rooms and washrooms… Morning bfast was very good however subsequently found a lot of scope of improvement. Swimming pool is very big, you can have a good time there. Don't forget to play the music of your choice while you enjoy the awesome pool. Overall good and comfortable stay.

There are problems with the cleanliness of the rooms.

Attended a party on the rooftop bar. Great ambience. There is pool on rooftop which has both hot and cold water. Drinks are available at rooftop. There is a drinks counter. Food was good. You get whole city view from rooftop. Good place for parties and hangout with friends.

Aging Hotel located near a stream turning into a sewer in rainy weather.

Well maintained hotel, rooms are clean and tidy. Washroom is clean and good. Staff is professional and good at service. Food is some what expensive and food taste is ok, lot of scope for improvement. Towels, napkins, pillow, bedsheets and curtains are clean and tidy. Very good lobby and premises. I feel cost is little bit on higher side.

A very well maintained hotel. The facilities are quite good and the lawn area for functions are absolutely beautiful. It could get a little chilly during the winter evenings. They have valet parking and the spread of dishes for the reception I went to were quite good.

Had been there for a business event. It was organised on the lawn. The place isn't that huge and the location is slightly interior. The road leading to hotel is bit narrow. The food was good but not great. Service was fast. Good place for a silent getaway as it's at a distance from the main road.

Good ambience. Terrible tasting food though. Went for an office party recently and had to eat Maggi at home after the party. I have to admit that this was a bit surprising given my other experiences at this place couple of years ago. Don't know if it has degraded so drastically but this review is based on my most recent December 2017 experience. Definitely look elsewhere, would be recommendation.

This is a 4 star plus property and a place to stay if you want to relax and enjoy your vacation. Rooms are very cosy. They have roof top pool, 3 Restaurant, Gym, Pub, Happy hours, DJ nights, Excellent Service. Complimentary breakfast is good. Location is a plus. Food and Beverage facilities are superb with wide varieties. Strongly recommend for family stay.

View of my hotel room is fantastic view of Golf Park. Breakfast is superb. I love the room view and also breakfast. It would be helpful if reception team is more friendly to customers in terms of communication and also if any small adjustments needs to be done. So that customers will be more happy.

Located off old airport road, adjacent to Karnataka golf club, this hotel has a great location close to the centre of the city. The rooms on the first three floors have been recently refurbished so much better than the 4th and 5th floor ones. Service is the Achilles heel for this place and can be unbelievably slow.

A luxury 5 star business class hotel located near to 18-Hole KGA Golf Course. Offering 195 rooms and the best accommodation in Bangalore. Have a fine dine restaurant and a night club named as Geoffrey's. Swimming pool and 30, 000 sq. Ft. Of green lawn which can accommodate 1000 people.

Disgusting Service, horrible breakfast and food. I was there for 16 days I never see the change in breakfast. Even I recommend and gave the suggestion but no change at all. Room service is very disappointing.

The ambience is excellent, the location is also good being in the centre of the city. The food is also good, having a lot of variety. However, the front desk staff are not so welcoming. In spite of us having a membership with the hotel, they didn't do much to make us want to continue our association with the hotel. At the same time, some of the restaurant and housekeeping staff were quite courteous and helpful.

It's a good vintage property hosting some pinch of calm and solace around its restaurant. Few of the rooms have been renovated well and adds caters to the no residents. The midnight buffet is one of the hotels popular services and stands up for its oven fresh pizzas and the puffed omlets. On the whole, it's an above average property amidst the city limits!

Rooms are small but sufficient for short stays. Good breakfast spread. Would have liked to have more spacious rooms in the category. Fitness center was decent.

This place has a well set bar with party ambience. Also has spacious area where u could host events. The only reason I had been there was food. The food was okish n not up to the mark… besides food I will give it a thumbs up.

Ensure you cross check that reception allots you your booked room category. I booked the highest category room but was allotted a clubroom with the words that it is an upgrade to my booked room. Well I had booked a Royal Suite and had to fight to get it. On the positive side, the breakfast was good.

Been there for a week to attend a conference. Food is ok'ish type. Service was good and staffs were friendly.

The hotel rooms and facilities are nice. Unfortunately the service is pretty poor. One needs to make at least two calls to get anything. I stayed for three weeks and it seemed the more I stayed the more the hotel took me for granted. Location wise it's situated next to one of the biggest sewage lines in Bangalore and often it was smelly. Certainly not recommended.

I visited their restaurant named limelight, and was perhaps the worst ever service from a 5 star hotel I have received. Flies on the table, no water refills, no removal of used plates and such. The spread was also quite small and was not tasty, lacking salt, and flavours in general. I will not recommend this place for any one.

Had a terrible experience in the hotel with FnB and when I approached the reception no help was offered. When asking for a check out and a reinbursement of the money. The receptionist Sumanth said we cannot refund but you can leave. No hotel will ask guests to leave. Worst front office staff. Did not call their supervisors even when asked repeatedly. Never go to this hotel. Waste of time and money. You have many other hotels in the bangalore and around old airport road which are much better.

I am regular to this hotel, I am booking higher category room but every time they are giving normal room, always I need to fight with them. They don't care customer. Front desk staff is Un disciplined staff and For check we need to wait for long time. If you come to restaurent (limelight) it's average. If you order some thing they I'll give another. If they don't have that recipe even they took the order and they will make some thing. And Jeoffreys Bar is nice. Week end is full of crowd. I like this Bar. I am not satisfied. I am thinking to forgot this hotel for ever.

This place is a total dump. It's located next to one of the city's largest sewage aqueducts; like, right next to the reception area. I almost vomited getting out of the car upon arrival. In the lobby, as I was checking in, I was being eaten alive by mosquitos. Probably the mosquitos which inhabit the sewage aqueduct next to the hotel. The A/C wasn't working in the lobby. It was blistering hot and humid. I went to check out my room and it smelled like the worst mildew I have ever encountered. Five times worse than my grandparents' basement. The room and decor throughout the hotel was run-down, dingy, crappy. The grounds overlook a garbage heap and tent city just beyond the walls. I was teaching a class in this dump so I had to use the facilities for that. However, my friend suggested that I check back out and move to The Leela Palace. God Bless my friend. That place was AWESOME. For my class, the room was never more brightly lit than candle light. It was making it hard for everyone to pay attention. The room was adequate size but again, it smelled like mildew. They kept spraying this horrible "freshner" which just made me want to vomit more. The road leading from the hotel to Old Airport Road was an unlit alley way. Not safe for walking alone in the daytime, let alone at night. This is a one-star hotel at best. Maybe two. Avoid at all costs.

Nice hotel. Its charm and maintenance degraded after airport is transfered to BIAL.
