Contrary to the reviews, the room we got was old and the bathroom was dirty. They also have a weird Wi-Fi policy where they provide you 512 MB vouchers which work only for one device. Even that didn’t work for us (network was very slow). The only good things were that the staff were well-mannered and the room was spacious.

Great ambience. Neat and clean rooms, friendly room service. The price is worth every penny. Would love to stay here again and will also recommend to all.

1) Ok service. 2) Rooms are bad. 3) everything is Broken. 4) some rooms have broken windows and it is not taken care of. 5) morning breakfast is OK but can be improved heavily.

I had heard stories about it, it was associated with lot of events, lot of great actors, and politicians used to hang out at this place. Its a old hotel with lot of history, ambience is great, loved it. I had coffee, but I found it little bit expensive. Overall it's a great place for serene evening hangout!

It's though old facility but very spacious economical (for them who don't want to waste money) is a cool homely and family atmosphere felt.

Hotel kanishka is a good place to stay. People are warm and showed good hospitality. Food is average.

I don't prefer this place to live. Pros : Comfy bed. Cons: Dirty washroom. AC not working. TV not working. Door lock is not proper. No silence at all. Wi-Fi is too slow. 1mbps on speed test. Took 500/ — more for 1 hour late checkout. Do not book this hotel just by looking at the photos uploaded. Hotel is totally different from the pics shown in Google.

Bad Oyo experience. Don't book rooms here just by seeing the pictures uploaded. Those pictures are older than may be 15 years. Look at the pictures which I've uploaded. Pros: Bed is cozy. Room is big enough. Cons: Wi-Fi never works here. Food is unhygienic. No geyser in washroom. Washroom is not clean. AC is not working properly. TV quality is very bad.

Kanishka hotel is a very old and famous hotel in Gandhinagar (majestic). This hotel has been there since decades and was very famous for celebrities staying there and eating in the hotel. However this hotel is still famous for film land people who meet up for discussions on their upcoming projects and ventures. A good hotel to visit for lunch or quick coffee.

Well maintained rooms… Proper cleaning and good food… Good staffs… way of talking of staffs is very nice… need to maimtain garden area.

Its a traditional hotel. Rooms and washrooms were clean. Good for those who want well maintained good old type hotels. I Love it and after staying once. I became repeat customer of the same.

Hotel operations vary in size, function, complexity, and cost.  Facilities provided may range from a modest-quality mattress in a small room to large suites with bigger, higher-quality beds, a dresser, a refrigerator and other kitchen facilities, upholstered chairs, a flat screen television and en-suite bathrooms.

No morning coffee. Was told to make payment at reception and they will organise from outside. Very basic breakfast given. Did not give receipt for the payment done.

The rooms were not ready at the time of checkin even with advance booking. The room alloted to us were filled with smoke of cigerette and it was too un easy. Didn't provide extra blanket. Staff were rude and don't know the manners of knocking before entering. The flush was clogged and felt disgusted.

One of the lesser known oldie of Bangalore. Good food and silent place. Good service!

Good hotel with all amnetees. At present under renovation. Located in gandhinagar. Near to city busstand, ksrtc busstand, city railway station, metro railway station (all within 500 MTS)

An avoidable place. Very old and not properly maintained but centrally located. Not recommended at all.

Not good for family. However, its nice get-together or sittings for business people. Gandhinagar is famous for discussing filmy fundas. So many prefer hotel kanishka for their meetings. Quite decent food available. A three star hotel. Though its little interior from majestic. Transportation's are good.

I've been into their conference hall. Nothing great. Not that we'll maintained also can say. Haven't tasted the food. So Rating based on the maintainance.

Best veg hotel with good party hall n separate family and regular dinning hall with good big under ground kitchen. With above 70 to 80 lodge rooms availability with good safe parking facility… Known well as it is my uncle's hotel…

Good and old place but now the hotel has been managed by others so not sure about the level of service.

Stayed here for a week. Clean rooms and goid service. Good place for cheaper rates.

Had been there for tea and snacks. Decent place and not crowded. Had ample parking. Good service.

Place is average. You may see conference happening here often in thier gandharwa hall. Parking is good.

One of the oldest restaurant in Bangalore, had been here for lunch. Ordered full meals and it was stomach filling. Worth for the money you pay! Ample of parking space is available for 2 wheeler and 4 wheeler.

Good place for vegetarian food. Calm and quiet place. Parking is available for both 2 wheels and 4wheelers.

Best one even you need a comfortable parking. Good homely food.

A traditional south indian restaurant and lodge in Bangalore situation I the heart of the sandalwood city. This place has a charm of its own. The food is average but the location and ambience make up for it.

Very old famous hotel rooms which we stayed are still in old style not modern but they maintain it well.

Considerably big rooms. We got the suite with two rooms. One bed room n the other a hall with TV n dinner table. The furniture n the overall decor showed the glimps of its glorious days. But seems the property has not been upgraded since a very very long time. N today is not in a very good shape. The guy at the reception Mr Gopal was courteous and very helpful.

Best part of this hotel is; its situated middle of the heart of the city and having its own compound with plenty of free parking space with security personal this is a plus point of this hotel, and hotel has attached restaurant also serving veg, non veg, and delicious south indian cousins, but, hotel itself is not well maintained, its budget friendly hotel; I would say.

If you are looking for a good meeting place/ or lodging along with a place to park your car with a good south indian food options in Gandhinagar area you can certainly visit here.

We experienced our stay very disappointing. The first room we were in did not lock, we moved to a different room. The second room (where we stayed for the duration of our visit) had no shower handle for hot water (it did get fixed the following day). The drain did not work well nor did the toilet flush properly. Internet signal worked sometimes. The morning we left I discovered what I believe is bed bugs.

Well maintained, overall a nice stay.

Very good hotel. But from past few years this hotel has decreased in features little. I. E the complimentary breakfast, drivers room, and the food service, etc but many of them stay in the same place as of like room services, travel desk, 24 hours check in and room services… Overall rating I would give is 4. As it decreased little.
