If you are seeking the most romantic and serene retreat in the middle of surreal natural surroundings there can't be a more beautiful place than this one. Highly recommended for couples and families.

I thoroughly enjoyed my off the beaten track holiday at this property in October 2020. I am a travel blogger & photographer (I pay for my own holidays) & love exploring nature & wildlife destinations around the world. I have no hesitation is saying that Aranyam is possibly the finest resorts around Rishikesh that caters to almost every kind of travelers' needs. Very comfortable & maybe the largest in class rooms, impeccable service — always with a smile, great food & much to do in & around the resort. I was mesmerised by the unending array of bird species at this birding resort & had a great time photographing them throughout my three days stay.

If you want to go for walks around the river bed, sit in cold water and go for treks this is a stunning place to go to. Great team, tasty local dishes … some adventure outdoor games makes for an active connect with nature holiday.

The resort is a little away from the main town so it is strictly for those who are looking for unwinding and peace. No markets or shopping centers near by. Since we were looking for a time away from the maddening rush we all had a great experience at Aranyam. The stay in river facing rooms was very good although we were mostly outside all the time doing adventure sports or enjoying the stream. The food is yum with a mix of local and continental fare. The staff is well mannered and they did their best to keep the entire team satisfied. We hope to visit this place again and recommend to others.

Being a single woman traveller I have never felt as safe as with your group. Sincerely looking forward to many more trips with you guys. Absolutely a stellar experience.

Serene surroundings, nice place to be with self or with family and friends. River in front of hotel gives you happiness and peace. Good staff and tasty food. Approach from Rishikesh to hotel by your own vehicle is convenient. Parking of car is up the hill on road or in a private paid parking near by. Then you come down and cross small river to reach hotel. Kind of walking. What I felt is lacking here is very low water in river (this river is a tributaries to Ganga), I visited this place in June, May be after rain it's flow will be better. Weather felt scorching hot (June 2018) here approx 35c, need AC, evening little cool to sit in river. So please check before planning.

When we first arrived here, we were like "what will we do here for the next 2-3 day", but that's the beauty of Aranyam. For hours and hours, you can sit in the balcony of the river facing rooms, sip on numerous cups of tea, and rediscover the joy of doing nothing. There is so much that the city life requires you to do that staying here for a few days recharges you. Obviously if you want, you can go rafting, trekking and undertake several other adventure activities that Aranyam people are expert at organising. You can even catch a fish in the river, and the chef will be happy to cook it for you. Talking about the chef, he has magic in his hands. The menu is limited, but everything that comes out of the kitchen is high on flavour and easy on tummy. You will not miss an elaborate menu. The rooms are well equipped with all modern amenities but there real blessing in disguise is the absence of the mobile network. Had there been a network, we would have been busy on our phones. Before I close this review, let me thank the staff of this property, who are supremely helpful and eager to serve.

Aranyam is the place for each and every individual. Its a paradise for nature and bird lovers, a great place for people who love trekking, a great place for children to learn and do activities around. Recommend the place for everyone.

Absolutely fantastic place in the middle of nowhere just nature and peace all around. Very tastefully developed and well kept. Big sized very comfortable rooms, very tasty meals, super caring staff and great adventure sport activities. Highly recommended.

Amazing place with great service. Rooms are very comfortable with the view of the river flowing right outside. Taking a dip in the river was very refreshing.

The rooms were very comfortable, clean and spacious. Food was delicious and served on time. The staff there was very helpful and treat you so well. It has some fun activities to keep you engaged all day. Aranyam River Retreat was a treat indeed!

A two night stay at the resort was one of our most memorable experience. It is beautifully​ located and is River facing. The trekking and adventure activities were awesome. Comfortable beautiful rooms with heavenly food and great staff. Ideal place for a wonderful holiday.
