The room, spa, restaurant and other facilities were excellent, well-maintained and spotless. This is a truly wonderful place beautiful, elegant, relaxing and extremely well-run. I loved the food. The treatments were great. Room was fabulous. The service was outstanding It was really nice and a memorable stay at Ananda.

I can not imagine any better place for total recovery. When I arrived, I was completely overworked, after my stay of 8 nights, I feel not only much better, but I also have lost a few pounds through a perfectly and individually tailored diet — without any starving. I also learned how to practice my Yoga exercises at home alone. The special breathing exercises and targeted meditation help me to cope well with stress on the job. And the healthy Ayurveda diet, of course, I will keep it. The hotel itself is located at over 1000 m with a stunning view of the valley. There are different types of rooms, I personally prefer the private villas or the valley view rooms. The kitchen is excellent as well as the spa, the staff very friendly and always helpful. Tip: one needs almost no own clothes, each guest gets daily a fresh "kurta" which one can wear not only at the breakfast, yoga etc but also at dinner. Only for the fitness center or mountain hiking it is recommended to pack suitable extra clothing. Thanks to the whole team for this unforgettable stay!

Nothing was a lovingly prepared and tasty. The local curries are divine. The Thai food to die for. Very overrated overall goood experience but they can provide much better.

Very nice resort. But you to get the reservation done before hand. No one is allowed to enter with out prior reservations. The rooms are extremely nice and the view is very beautiful. Its basically famoua for meditation and spa. The resort is 1 of a kind in the country. Its a huge place. It was a former papace of kingwhuch is xonverted to a resort. The staff is very nice and respect the guests. Rhey give welxome drinks and battery operated car is der to roam around the place. Beautiful gardens with beautiful flowers.

We stayed here on package called renewal and were absolutely amazed by the view, service, food, landscape etc. Full board package worths every dollar spent. And Despite being an experienced traveler I’ve never seen “monkey butler” before. The guy didn’t let monkeys stealing food from the restaurant:-)

Huge resort in the himalayas… superb facilitation… full furnished rooms with a quite good service… and nice spa as for which it is famous for.

Best place is narendra nagar. Ananda basically is raja ka mahal. But now this is hotel. And the best hotel I see in this budget.

I was in Ananda last March for 3 nights stay. I like the place and food very much. It is very quiet place which was what I really wanted… very relaxed… no one bothers you. 2 things I hope to see improvement from this resort… more yoga classes daily (as an option to the guests. ) and to include 3 meals per day. (current 2 meals per day. ). I will not recommend this place to anyone if he/she is looking for a yoga retreat. I would recommend to those who are looking for a quiet place to relax.

Without any dounìbt this is the Best Top Spa Resort in the world! I recommend everyone to stay here at least once in lifetime. Unforgettable experience indeed. Excellent staff! I have really appreciated the quiet and silence. Mobile phones are not allowed here finally.

Owsome property to stay… great environment, rainy season is the best enjoyed season in ananda. You have club cars which take you to places in the hotel as the property is huge beyond your imagination. Feel great as was part of this property.

On our tour, Ganges river from its mouth to its source, we have 4 nights here in a Suite normally. Fantastic Service, very good Restaurant, fantastic Suite. The Ananda is the best Hotel of its art.

Went there for four days in 1998 and had a wonderful time: very good food, great ayurveda treatments and massages (oil — and milk pourings), a sauna with a view of Rishikesh. A very good room with a balcony overlooking the valley, which was great to see at night. Beautyful old villa, gardens and gazebo for yoga, wonderful pools. loved it.
