Small room, uncomfortable bed, lots of do not notices, tiny doors, noisy, unfriendly staff, not a great deal going for this hotel but it looks good!

It's a not easy property because it's all stairs without elevator.
But from the hotel you can admire a view of Lake Pichola and the City Palace that makes you forget the hassle.

Beautiful hotel. Picturesque interiors. Amazing view of the lake. Good service. Loved the breakfast at the jarokha and the boat ride. Would love to visit again.

Romance and Royalty combined, you will be awestruck with the beauty of this property, definitely go for dinner here to sit under the stars and besides the lake, with the City Palace beautifully lit on the other side. Do ask the food to be medium spicy at it would be made as per the foreign tourists taste.

We went there for lunch. The place is beautiful, overlooking the lake and the food compliments the view. A very serene restaurant to say the least.

Great location, restaurant with terrace for beautiful sunset views over the lake or for breakfast. Friendly staff and cute rooms, though not very big but in traditional palace style.

Good view but narrow mind ppl… We booked room two months back and asked for lake view and they said it's available. But it is not to see the proper view of lake since we got the room in ground floor. We got one room with in 1 hour and they told will arrange the another hour with in 1 hour, but we got it after 3 hours. Meanwhile we went for breakfast (its not free), ordered 2 different combo. Got hot core toasted bread, which is not worth of the cost. Only good thing in breakfast area is view was fantastic. Air-condition was placed near bathroom which is not use if u sleep in that ground floor lake view room. Totally waste of money staying here in this hotel. View is 5/5 Room is 2/5 (ground floor lake view rooms) Food is 2/5 (we had only breakfast) Hospitality is 1/5

Awesome hotel with an equally awesome view of the lake. A must for any one looking to stay in udaipur and relatively cheaper likes of other 5 and 4 star hotels around.

The best part of this hotel are its lake views. Rooms and corridors are aesthetically done and are well maintained. The room prices tend to be on the higher side. One could always go out for more dining options.

Awesome place to stay in Udaipur. There are total 28 rooms, all are not lake view. They have roof top restaurant served for dinner. Service is also very good, people are very much friendly. You will see lots of foreigners booking this hotel. Tourist place are near by. Only problem is connectivity, you can't take big vehicles near to hotel. Max Innova kind of vehicle can go that too in night.

Such an awesome place to stay. Build in heritage style this place offers some really great views and great hospitality. Would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting g Udaipur.

Heritage rooms are outstanding. And the suites are just killer! Right on the lake. Right in middle of all the action in udaipur. A bit of walk. Not for elderly who can't walk much.

The hotel is great it is fun to stay, kinda gives you a royal feeling! The experience is good too. They really need to have refrigeration services for the guests. 4/5 hotel The best part is the view here! The food is average, service is decent. The overall experience isn't as wow as the view is! 3/5 restaurant.

First of all, I only experienced the Restaurant, so this review, only depends on the Restaurant quality. The Service and the food are excellent and from the rooftop as well as from the little balconies you have a stunning view over the lake especially in the sunset. (Make a reservation, since it's often quite full) What I also really like is that no one is bothering you to buy more and the service Team is always right there when you need it and steps back when you don't need them. Overall we're good and not really expensive Restaurant. Butter Nan — 60rs; Noodles 190rs.

I didn't stay here but ate here a couple of times. The service was great and the food good. Very good value considering how good the view is.

I visited Udaipur in 2014 and it was a great experience staying in Jagat Nivas palace. I just loved the rooms and the location. You feel so homely being there and the customer service is amazing. If I visit Udaipur I would chose to stay again in this hotel without any doubt.

Loads of charm and character. Fresh white paint, lots of potted plants, pretty architecture, antique furniture scattered about, great views, really not bad at all! And the courtyard and terrace are quite nice as well. The approach is a bit scary as you have to maneuver through a narrow tunnel parked to overflowing with bikes that makes you think 'did I make a mistake? ' But no worries, the hotel itself is very nice. If you want a room with 2 large beds, lake view, an enormous bathroom (shower only), and a dressing room you can't do better than suite 101. If you're used to having more than one pillow, be sure to ask for extras as they provide only one per bed. The food's ok, but for a really authentic experience go to a restaurant called 'Bawarchi' in town and order the rajasthani thali. Superb vegetarian food for a steal! Note — if you can't climb steep stairs then this place (and I suspect any other heritage hotels in the area) are NOT for you.
