Best hostel in Pushkar! Raj is a really cool guy and always willing to help! Also Wi-Fi is good (important sometimes)

The owner/manager who was working when I visited was extremely creepy. He had very short hair, spoke English well and didn't appear local to the area. I had dropped off a friend to prepare herself to accompany me to a wedding we had been invited to, and this manager seemed intent on keeping her inside the hostel. He told her it was a 'very bad idea' to go to a wedding and that she would be molested. This was quite offensive because it was a wedding we were invited to play at by close friends of mine who are founding members of the local band The Rajasthani Express (who has played concerts with members of Radiohead amongst others) When I explained this to him he was extremely patronizing and treated me as though I was a liar. I returned some 30 minutes later to pick up my friend and go to the wedding. I tapped on the door and walked in to call her as we were running late to the concert. This manager immediately confronted me aggressively and told me I had no business being there and that he would call the police. I have never had this happen in any other guest house in Pushkar. He then completely lied and told me that my friend was not there, and that I had to leave the premises because I was trespassing. I am an American tourist and showed no disrespect to him or the premises whatsoever. Furthermore he did not respect my friends wishes to come to the wedding, instead choosing to lie and manipulate her into being afraid of accompanying me.

Located at 10 minutes walk from the main market, the property boosts of the most amazing sunset views. Then sets right behind the Brahama Temple, lifting the moon up from the other corner. The terrace view is the best view in the whole vicinity! The mix of travellers you meet are the hostel is amazing! I personally loved the common area, which is done up very nicely. You ll find someone playing a guitar, or some guy humming on a hapi drum at some corner. The hostel has a amazing vibe. Being an Indian, I value food a lot. Sometimes, the service might be a little delayed, but thats because, they make the food fresh. Its absolutely amazing, with brilliant oil quality (I have liver issues, so its something which is of very utmost requirement for me). The hosts are amazing people, with crazy vibe! I basically was in awe of this property.
