Words cannot describe the exceptional stay we had at Almond Tree. We were a family of 6 — 4 travelers over 75 years young. We were all stunned with the beauty, hospitality and welcome feel we received from the moment we arrived after a long day of travel. We had a couple of finicky eaters in our group and the manager, Chetan, made sure to get something special just for them — even at the late hour we arrived. The rest of the staff could not do enough for us including setting up a larger table outside on the terrace with the view of the Palace as we enjoyed the evening. We especially enjoyed getting to know Chetan and the history of this impressive home. As a special treat we booked all three suites… and all three were outrageously spacious, well decorated and truly delightful. The only downside was that we were only there for one day. In the morning we were treated to an amazing walk through the heritage neighborhood park and came back to a magnificent breakfast. There were both Indian and Continental options — we enjoyed both — my husband had the Indian option and I had the omelette — both were delish! I recommend at least 2 nights to really enjoy the Almond Tree. Thank you Chetan for an amazing modern Indian experience full of richness, class and warmth — perfect. Don't hesitate — this is an experience you will not want to miss.

Me and my girlfriend stayed in the Deluxe Suite for 3 nights. The room itself was magnificent! Upon being shown our room, I struggled to refrain from gasping like a shocked child in front of the owners. Haha. The room was modern and spacious. The furniture and bed were comfortable. And the bathroom was fit for a king and his queen. Amenities such as the TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning and bathroom products were of a perfect standard. Breakfast is served up until 10:30am. The buffet selection of cereals, fruits, juice, breads and preserves was more than enough choice. Not to mention you have the choice to order eggs (cooked to your choice). The Almond Tree boasts a very affordable lunch/dinner menu throughout the day. Pasta dishes for 200r I can highly recommended. That's not all. You can also have the opportunity of a home style cooked Indian meal situated on the rooftop Terrance during sunset overlooking the palace. Prices range from 500 (vegetarian dish) to 750 to 1000. We chosen the vegetarian menu each, which consisted of: Jeera rice, paneer butter masala, dal, aloo gobi, chapati and choice of drink. Trust me when I tell you the serving is plenty, not to mention delicious! I couldn't stop eating! The staff were super welcoming and friendly. They made sure everything was just the way we liked it. On our last day we left the hotel at 5:30am, and the staff were gracious enough to provide us with a packed breakfast, which was a surprise to us in the morning.

Fantastic place in Jodhpur! Right from the location to every aspect in the hotel has been picked very aesthetically. Food is awesome!

We enjoyed our stay at the Almond Tree! The location of the hotel is great. The staff has been accommodating our requests. The interior of the hotel is very nice. The rooms are exceptionally clean. We had a wonderful dinner on the terrace amongst dozens of flowers and great views on the Umaid Bhawan palace. When visiting Jodhpur we will for sure return to the Almond tree!

We can't say enough good things about our stay at The Almond Tree! We were visiting India from the US for a month, and this was the best place we stayed all month. The staff is caring and attentive, the rooms are beautiful, well-decorated, and clean. The breakfast is delicious (we especially liked the fresh omelets and the cardamom oatmeal! ). We also HIGHLY recommend booking taking at least one dinner on the roof. The food is delicious and the ambiance on the terrace is great. We were originally booked to only stay one day, but our kids came under the weather during our stay so we ended up staying for three nights. The staff and the owner went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, including medicine for our daughter and a thermometer. The owner also helped us find a nice dinner and booked us a table. We definitely recommend staying here if you are ever in Jodhpur! :)

The food was amazing, the staff/service was superb, and the room was excellent! They arranged a private dinner for us on Valentine’s Day and I couldn’t have asked for more. I highly recommend The Almond Tree!
