I visited for lunch at the Rajput Room, food and service was excellent. The grounds were beautiful, and there were allot of peacocks. Only thing that was a shame was the air quality and traffic noise, however that was beyond the control of the hotel. So I do not hold it agianst then, however it should be mentioned.

The term palace truly is the only description possible. The added bonus of chariot and vintage car rides are phenomenal. TAJ, the name speaks for itself; rooms are exorbitantly decorated and the vibes are all good.

Wonderfull heaven of piece and great architecture. Had a good dinner at the steam restaurant which is a restaurant the is equipped with a real locomotive and a couple of passenger wagons converted into restaurant tables!

Very grand, good food. Loved their polo themed bar and cafe. The staff at Swarna Mahal wasn't courtious enough though. 4 stars for the amazing property.

Amazing hospitality, as we have come to expect from Taj Group & spacious rooms are highlights of this hotel. But as a destination/ heritage hotel, Rambagh has started to show its age & will find it hard to compete against the newer trendier destinations that are now coming up all over Rajasthan. Needs a conceptual makeover.

Very interesting building and nice room with character but need very few things to be upgrade. The indoor marvel swimming pool is nice but the water was too cold to swim. We started the day very early in the morning so we decided to have breakfast very early in the morning, 6 am. We were the only guests at the restaurant. The food was very good but there also were mosquitoes to feed themselves with our blood. That was only unpleasant exprience we had.

An absolutely stunning property covering almost 60acres with a historical background which truly evokes a royal feel. The palace is magnificent and the views from the restaurants are beautiful. They also have a fascinating bar inside of a train which was a fun and unique experience.

I sure did get some great pictures here. I walked around the Hotel and noticed some top notch jewelry stores, too. The inside of the rooms, looked too good to be true. Well… If you stayed here, you wouldn't be disappointed at all in any way.

Everything, location, decoration, service and facilities are amazing, everything is really 5 stars! It's like a dream.
This gem offers 78 beautifully restored rooms and suites that were the rooms of the old Maharaja. This place was great, is well maintained and has beautiful gardens. The Polo bar and the Rajput room are excellent restaurants for drinking or eating. The rooms are beautifully decorated and well-equipped and as always, the Taj chain offers excellent and attentive service.

The first building on the site was a garden house built in 1835 for the wet nurse of prince Ram Singh II. In 1887, during the reign of Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh, it was converted into a modest royal hunting lodge, as the house was located in the midst of a thick forest at that time. In the early 20th century, it was expanded into a palace to the designs of Sir Samuel Swinton Jacob. Maharajah Sawai Man Singh II made Rambagh his principal residence and added a number of royal suites in 1931. After India became independent and the princely states united, the Palace became the Government House. By the 1950s, the royal family felt that the upkeep of the palace and its 47 acres (190, 000 m2) of gardens was becoming very costly. Therefore, in 1957 they decided to convert it into a luxury hotel.

 Its grand. The hotel, the rooms, dining. Incredible.  It makes you feel royal. Gives you the feel of Jaipur.

Excellent arrival experience with great staff. The palace is just magic and you could imagine yourself in the old days when it was run as the King's palace. Superb rooms with antiques, nicely decorated corridors and courtyard. Spa and pool facilities were great.

Above and beyond. The staff is the best. The food was above average but below the standards at this price range. Be sure to try the Laal Maas (spicy lamb). High tea is offered here however, the tea is often over brewed.

Also a wonderful place to go for a drink in the evening (just like in The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel)

Nice hotel with utmost luxury with almost every thing close to the hotel. Good food royal ambience panoramic view and on top everything a hotel should have. Staff so friendly and courteous that its amazing.

Taj rambagh palace is the very best hotel in the all jaipur hotels.

Better still, take afternoon tea, which is spectacular.

It was a awesome experience being at RAMBAGH PALACE felt like being in fantasy land specially the restaurants SWARN MAHAL STEAM.

An incredibly beautiful palace, now hotel, worth visiting even if you're not staying. Sit on the terrace, have a G&T and enjoy a view across immaculate lawns and up to the hill forts surrounding Jaipur. Better still, take afternoon tea, which is spectacular.

The garden is a peaceful escape from che chaos in Jaipur.

It was the awsome time with the palace I like THE TAJ RAMBAGH PALACE. I also like the dishes of THE TAJ RAMBAGH PALACE. It was my drems to stay 1 night in that palace.

Ate at the Indian fine dining restaurant. Great food but over served. Waiters constantly hovering serving wine, naan even the daal. It's just too much and spoils the meal. But amazing food. Pricey as hell though.
