The service provide by hotel it’s awesome and the quality of hotel was excellent. The location was located in heart of city very close to Golden Temple, It’s highly recommended.

Good place. Clean rooms and sheets. Had frequent issue with the access card. Food was good but I found it expensive as Amritsar has lot of good places to eat and they are damn cheap. Staff were professional and has safe place for 2 wheeler parking. Prime location. I would stay there again.

Wonderful and a comfortable stay for my family. The hotel staff is very cooperative and efficient. Also the food here is awesome. Even my younger daughter who is very fussy abt her food was able to find dishes according to her taste. Must say full value for your money. Keep up the good work Sawera!

Good hotel but on a small gully. Rooms were big clean but full of termites. Had to shift 3times before settling in a room. Booked a executive room where ac was not strong enough to cool.

Hotel is situated in a narrow lane road, in main market. The rooms are well appointed but not airy. No views are available from room or any corner of the hotel. The hotel is centrally air-conditioned. The staff is friendly and good. It's 1 km from Golden Temple. The food is just ok.

Hotel was great… We had an luxurious experience staying in this hotel… Food quality was also great and room service was also good… Overall a nice hotel to stay… I m fully satisfied with the hotel experience.

Hotel sawera grand is nice hotel. I liked its atmosphere, staff is very gud, services r gud, specially cab facility by Mr. Prem and best thing is that this hotel is near to golden temple n market. I liked it.

One of the best experience. The warmth and positive vibes had made stay absolutely fantastic and relaxing. Food is very good with many options to choose from. The interiors are world class and beautiful. Staff is excellent. Looking forward for memorable stay earliest.

Rooms can not be locked from inside. Verymuch Over priced. In small cramped street. Washrooms smells.

Nice place for a short stay for a day or two, nothing great though. Paid dinner was good but complimentary breakfast wasn't up to the mark. Service staff were good. Few — ve things. It's inside a narrow pocket road, hard to notice and almost a KM way from Golden temple.

It started at check-in. At 4 PM we were brought to a small room, were told it was an upgrade. Twin beds were not available. The fixtures in the room started falling off. The door handle fell off. The toilet seat fell off, as I sat down. The balcony door handle fell off and the A/C did not work. Management brought us to another room, where the A/C ducts were making a horrible noise. Maintenance spent 2 hours "working" on the problem, while we waited in the room trying to block out the noise. Maintenance spent most of their time making personal calls and aimlessly carrying ladders around. Eventually they concluded that they could not fix anything, at which point management brought us to a third room. We finally settled for this one, were only half the filthy toilet flushes, and rather than the requested twin beds we were offered a plank for me to sleep on, attached picture.

Located in a congested area but very close to Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh (walkable distance). Very close to main market, Bharawan Da Dhaba, Brothers Dhaba.

Hotel is nice. The manager is not well understood. Poor service. They can access your room without your permission.

Horrible hotel. AC didn't work. Prices were as much as a 4 star hotel. Personally I would give it 2.5 stars. 0.5 star for the excellent location.

Rooms here are very good and attractive to stay at night. Excellent service is available but food is some what good Means not so good as I was imagining.

A very good hotel to stay, the service is very good, the manager and the staff is very co-operative, you can get different types of tasty food here. Veg as well as non veg food is avilable. Restraunt is also good. You can go to the famous spots which are nearby just by walk, thats another advantage. Rooms are provided with safe lockers.

I think this is the most unprofessional hotel I have ever stayed… Food is so pathetic that you can't eat… For dinner we have to wait for around half and hour and then we got tasteless biryani… in the morning there is so much oil breakfast tha you can't even eat a single spoon… I requested them to that I need 2 hour late check out for that they demanded RS 1000 extra… that's really height of unprofessional behaviour… Then I have to pay them RS 1500 coz I said that I will check out at 7:30 or 8:00 o'clock but can't believe I was out for dinner and they locked my room at 7:00 pm… Property is really very good it's walking distance to golden temple… But pathetic behaviour of people managing is is really pathetic… So guys beware before staying there…

I Visited a Hotel Sawera Grand. I Was a Memorable Moments here. Its awesome and beautiful hotel near to golden temple and Jallianwala bagh. The room no. 209 very spacious and very neat and clean. Its worth of money and recommend this hotel to everyone.

Stayed with my family in November. The staff was not courteous. The Card machine didn't work for 2 days (Eventually we had to pay by Cash for 3 rooms as card machine never worked). They kept on asking for money before checkout as if we were going to runaway from the place. The balcony door lock wasn't working and had to call multiple times to get it closed. Breakfast wasn't good and the service was poor. On top of all this, when we complained to the guy at desk, he had the attitude of 'I don't care' for your feedback. Will never book that hotel in the otherwise beautiful Amritsar city where normally people were really nice.

One of the best place to stay in Amritsar. And is walking distance from Golden Temple. Its in the middle of the market for local shopping like crafts, clothes and for having delicious punjabi as well as other Indian cuisines found across the country. And it takes around 30min to reach airport. Food served there was also of a great taste. Have a nice & happy stay. Thanx.

Surrounding area is dirty. But the hotel is a nice stay place with good rooms. Markets are all in that area.

Hotel staffs are great, the location is in a very high traffic area. The food at the hotel are very spicy, not good for foreigners.

Narrow entrance on a by-lane; balcony door couldn't be locked ; flush not working in wash-room; wet towels; last guests used soap left in the wash room ; switch for reading lamps was located on one side of bed; ac getting automatically switched off several times at night; couldn't sleep properly on two consecutive nights… such was the state in KL suite… supposedly the best room in the property.

Its very nice Hotel. Best is their proximity to Golden Temple… Golden Temple is just walking distance from this hotel…
Hotel staff is also nice. Specially their GM Mr. Dibakar Debnath, is a nice fellow.
Cons.
Food is not value for money. Bit costly / pricy. In comparison to quality Verdit.
Overall good hotel. And pleasant stay.

Not even worth one star. Only making a good property doesn't make it a good hotel… worst service… We booked a business room and was alloted small executive room saying that business room's AC not working so instead of upgrading they downgraded the room… in morning wen we asked for hot water for bath, they say their geysers not working since Noone there asks for hot bath water. They did provide us hot water in buckets but after waiting n fighting for two hours… And for any other need or request we had to wait for long hours to get it and that too after repeated calls… and worst part was that they dint even seem to be bothered about customers being tortured… Worst and irritating experience…

It's one of the worst hotels to stay not just in Amritsar but across India. The staff is manipulative and non co-operative. The air conditioning doesn't work; geysers don't work. Instead of being apologetic about things the staff is rude and shameless to the core. They downgrade your room without any sensible reasons and manipulate you with cooked up stories. Very pathetic hotel; never stay.

New property but located in an obscure place and very difficult to reach without the help of Google map. Situated in the market place. So roads are very congested. The surroundings are very dirty. Parking is another issue. Staff and hospitality was poor. All room service was taking long time (more than expected). Even serving food is also slow.

One of the worst hotels I have stayed in. I had booked an Executive Room. I was given a room which was in a shabby condition. The worst part was the bathroom which had a leaky ceiling. The water from the ceiling used to drip and formed puddles near the wash basin. Despite my protests, my room was not changed. I had to call housekeeping staff to clean the bathroom every now and then. Even the access card for opening the door was not working. I had to call the reception for opening the door every time I went out. About food, the less said the better. The location of the hotel is in a small by lane where parking is a huge problem. Avoid this hotel like the plague.

I booked this hotel via OYO app and got a great deal. Nice hotel with spacious and clean rooms. But one thing that won our hearts was the pleasant behaviour of staff. Very supportive and courteous people which made our stay of 3 days even more relaxing.

Excellent hotel in the heart of the old city. Very close to key tourist attractions. Only downside is that its located in a small lane just inside the main road which can make access for vehicles a bit difficult.

Extremely good hotel. Located very close to the Harmandir Saheb (Golden Temple). Promise what they show and very reasonably priced as well. The staff is friendly and willing to go that extra mile to make you happy. Overall a very good place to stay. Their linen could be newer but it was not bad by any stretch of imagination. Although the hotel is located close to the Golden Temple, the streets are extremely narrow and can be daunting for some but if you want to breathe in a bit of Amritsar, this is the place to be. I would certainly recommend this hotel and its location.

I came here with my family. What a memorable trip it was! the hotel is very wide, clean, and open. Moreover near to Golden Temple and also we got fresh and delicious food.

I came to India for the first time from Canada after marriage. My husband and I stayed at this hotel for three days and we loved it. Amazing staff, clean rooms and amazing food (must try their tootyfruity Sunday). This hotel was the best hotel experience for the time I stayed in India. For my wedding anniversary I will be visiting India again and will definitely give preference to this hotel over any. Thank you to all the staff who made my experience with this hotel memorable.

This is a very good hotel well located in the heart of the city. The staff is very polite and curtious. The hotel provides with all the basic amenities. The food is very good. It is a must stay location for the visitors.

I am not satisfied with the services. The behavior of sales staff is also not good. Parking is another issue. This hotel is situated in the market which is over crowed with the traffic. However, the interior is good. But due to bad locality, it is most expensive. I will not stay again in this hotel.
