If you need to just spend a day in Srinagar near the airport then this works. There's nothing great about the place and it's just a budget friendly option. Food is ok and not very great. Hospitality is average.

Hotel situated between airport and Srinagar town, so location is convenient to both. Room was clean and hygienic with beautiful view from window. Staff was very polite. Food and room service were good.

Its is a four story hotel at nowgam srinagar. Too far from tourist reciption centre. But very close to railway station srinagar.

Plz dont go to this hotel. The stuff is so rude. They dont know how to say things politely I asked some extra beddings and they give me unwashed blankets. Not suitable for tourist despite being near to airport they will make you wait and will charge very high… staff working there have a very narrow mind and pro agresive approach. Food is also not good… If you want a good atmosphere then started of kashmir is not a good place to go.

Service is good but they are charging extra money for room heater.

Not that good food facility is not that good what ever they cooked we have to eat.

From 22 Nov till 31 Nov, me & my family of 4 adults stayed at Hotel Star of Kashmir. The owner Mr. Latif was very honest, helpful & accomodating. Mr. Latif responds every call promptly. Me & my family felt sick and Mr. Latif went beyond his way to bring doctor to my room for treatment. Nice family room with 24 hours hotwater. Nice hot fresh food. The staff at hotel also very humble, nice & helpful. We took the tour arranged by Mr Latif which exceeded our expectation. I would highly recommend Mr Latif and his hotel. Affordable place to stay with great services and cooperative staff. Breakfast and dinner was tasty and healthy.

The rooms are beautiful and the staff of hotel is very humble and well trained they are so good at their service. And the food is very tasty… And this hotel is budget hotel.

Good location but ground floor rooms are vulnerable to lot of noise.

Nice place to stay. Very courteous and cooperative staff.

We went there and the working staff is too rude. Lots of cocroaches are there. We found a cockroach in our food daal. I have a pic also if the daal.

Worst Room tideness I stayed in room 102. — No Wi-Fi connectivity — mattresses are damaged and sponge visible from inside out. — bedspreads are so dirty and soiled that you don't feel like sleeping on it — Rooms are so compact that you place 2 suitcases and you don't have space to walk. I notified reception and they committed to set right everything by the next night. But still it looks same. The person in reception said "sir you have not handed over the key and thus we have not changed any. Even the room is not cleaned there after I suggest do not opt for this hotel at any cost.

Really Star of Kashmir Hotel is a Paradise of Kashmir. I and my family enjoyed so much as if we are in our own House. I and my family shall never forget a morning bed tea, breakfasts and evening dinner. Because of the Wi-fi facilities I was always touch with the outsiders. I shall always oblige with Mr. Latifbhai and his Hotel staff for our stay and for ouar tour of Kashmir.

We stayed for 6 nights, excellent service, yummy kasmiri food, very friendly and co-operative staff, great atmosphere, in all we enjoyed the stay. the owner is a gem of a person, his management is outstanding, he is personally in to supervision of all department a to zee. two of mine group members were not feeling well, he instructed them to prepare diet food separately for us, apart from the meal plan. last but not the least the driver allotted to us was full of informative, very friendly, and upgraded with the purchase locations along with quality as well as competitive price. he took us at various food joints from dhabas to high end mughals darbar. i would rate 100/100 to kashmir holiday vacation travel and recommend to avail such a homely service.

Rooms are small but staff is ultimate, very friendly, very supportive and Food was good. My daughter nose got fractured while playing cricket in the lawn of hotel but the staff took so much of care and immediately took us to the hospital. And when we came back from hospital at 12 pm in night all staff members were there waiting for us without having their dinner. When we reached and everything settled down then they went for dinner, we all are very grateful of them. Thanks you so much STAFF OF HOTEL STAR OF KASHMIR for all your support in our tough time. We always remember you.

Superb. Loved their service. Superb accommodation. Food is authentic Kashmir food and if you want something special tell to them and they will make it for you.
