The Chalets Naldehra is the first property built in India with the internationally recognized expertise that has come to be associated with Scandinavian log homes. The chalets have been built with technology imported from Finland and from wood also imported from there. These fir logs have been specially treated in a high-tech plant and been given a finish that is both enduring and warm and welcoming…

The resort is an amazing place to stay. It gives immense peace around that place. Exploring the resort in entirety is fun. Attention by the staff was quick. In spite of being 22 years old property, it is maintained very well. The only thing that pulled down the rating is the cost of food. They charge 25% extra for serving anything in the room, which doesn't exist anywhere else I had been to. Overall, good and relaxed stay.

Photographs sure tell a different story. The property is in a bad shape. Earlier this property was with the Welcome Heritage group, the difference in approach is clearly evident. The house keeping staff sure does not know how to keep things clean, no disinfectant is put in the water to swab the place, the hands which have been cleaning the washrooms are the same which make your bed, no dusting is done. Agreed the property is among trees and brushes, this in no way means that you would let the bugs enter the rooms. The "pay before you stay" policy has been there since long; however, now it seems the only way they catch the unsuspecting client. The revolving restaurant only works if you book it in advance, I think for no less than 6 people, this was not the case earlier. This was my 5th visit, and sure will be my last. Please do not block your money, THIS IS NOT A PLACE TO STAY.
