Old Manali is a small café in a very nice village where you can fulfill your food hobby.

It's beautiful place, every one should visit this place and and one suggestion prefer walking instead of using any vehicle so you can enjoy more and explore more places there.

Just 1.5 km to 2kms away from mall road, club house road is amazingly great experience for people looking for peaceful journey towards Himalayan range… there are cafes serving real taste for everyone and the weather makes it wonderful experience for anyone who comes here. Great thing is I live here now.

Incredibly peaceful this place. Well-kept, clean, budget place. The cafe is good too. Good food, great sleep and great views! The manager is helpful and the place is a bliss.

A nice place in old Manali. This was my first stay in zostel, experience is really nice. Staff I'd friendly and helpful, their handout about Manali helped out to explore places around. They connected us with bike rentals and helped us to get good pricing. They have a cafe attached, I tried breakfast it was good. Prices are slightly on higher side but quality and taste is good. In cafe they accept only cash, no card. For your stay bill you can pay by card. There is an apple orchard right in front of hostel it adds a good view. Place is very calm and quiet.

Serene, away from the main hustle and bustle of the city. Comfortable bed, neat and clean rooms. Staff was chilled and good to have conversations with. Would recommend it definitely for a solo trip or trip with friends. Good food but a bit on the pricier side.

Its located in Old Manali and its kinda a 2mins walk downhill from the road so you'd gotta carry your luggage through it, trolley needs to be lifted. Its got a good vibe, clean rooms, good food just like other zostels. The view though, is specifically good :)

I stayed here for 5D4N. Zero complaint for the place. Manager at the time was very friendly and helpful. He suggested many special places to visit. The room that I stayed in (Tirthan Valley — room name) was good. Nice beds (bunk beds). First time I found nice blankets. Good storage space. You can rent a lock, but better to carry your own. Bathroom was really good. Everything is in good condition. Mine was infact spacious too. Perfectly fine room service. Good staff. Good food. But be ready to walk a lot everyday you stay here. To reach this place you will have to walk a little.

Fantastic place to chill and hang out and meet like minded travelling souls. The folks managing it are also very helpful. Open area allows you to participate in conversations. You can meet all kinds of people, from professionals to students to artists. However, it's a bit inaccessible and can be confusing as to where it is. Food is also a bit on the expensive side.

Living in Zostel was quite an experience. The rooms were clean and good. The people there were amazing. Moreover the food was also great!

To reach this place you have to walk a lot because the auto/taxi will leave you further down. Its located somewhere inside the old Manali village but the view and ambience is awesome. The cafe is equally good and the servers welcome you with a warm smile. Equally awesome is their latte. Rates are the same throughout the year which seems pointless because who would want to pay 1500 in winters when there are cheaper options elsewhere.

Indian youth hostel is much better if you want to live in an actual 'hostel'. Although Zostel is very beautiful, it does not fit the definition of a hostel considering it's high price. It's more of an classy community living. The interiors look pretty classy and picturesque. But not at all light on the pocket. To give a perspective, It's like calling for an egg omlette at a five star hotel, it's just egg but you'll have to pay the price for the over-the-top cutlery.

If you want a quite place to stay with a travel vibe then definitely go to Zostel Manali. It is situated far off the chaos and the views are also amazing. They have hammocks in the garden to read a book and the food is also great over there. The only downside I felt was it's very inside and not easily accessible. They should provide a sign board on the main road for direction.

I haven't experienced hostel go to zostel… U'll have the experience what you have been missing… It is hell lot of experience and bestest part is its not a hotel u can roam around, u can talk with stranger and most importantly u can have fun without restrictions.

Location of Zostel, Manali is at some remote place but, it's very good if you are in search of peace and breathtaking views of mountains. It serves various types of food with authentic Himachal food also. For a group of many people, it's really good. Pricing is fair. It offers different types of room for the guests. Basic facilities are provided with good service.

We were a group of 7 people. We visited Zostel Manali for two days. We reached at 1 am in the morning and we're damn hungry. Pritam the manager there was very courteous and helped us cook some Maggi in their kitchen. The have an amazing common room where you can sit chill play and enjoy the coziness. The rooms are clean and huge. You might take some time to find the location as you have to walk down the lane from the main road. But it's worth it. Amazing experience. Do try their breakfast options in the morning. Specialy the Nutella pan cake. The breakfast is lil overpriced but worth it.

It was a great experience for us… We had crash landed here from a long spiti tour and it was one of the best time for all of us… Just a time that we were wanting, lazing around and spending time mingling with people. Food options is limited but have an average quality. Couldn't figure out, why do they add service charge for food bill and when questioned about the details of the service charge they waived it off.

Very good location. The arrangements and the vibe of the place is out of words. They don't allow music till late nights, in an underground and far place from markets, but still the hosts are nice.

My sister and I, between weddings, had to pass time for 4 days before we got to our cousin’s big fat Indian one in Lucknow. We decided Manali could be a good idea. A friend asked us (practically forced us) to spend those days at Zostel, Manali. And we can’t thank him enough. Apart from the breathtaking view, the cleanliness and great value for money, those were practically the best 4 days of any trip we have ever had. We met the most wonderful people there who we ended up having incredible adventures with. And we realized eventually, if it weren’t for them our trip would’ve turned out pretty different, pretty usual even. Sometimes life surprises you, you just have to go looking for them. And we’re going back there for some more again. See you around, maybe? :)

Once you are there you would prefer not to go arround manali but to stay in, sit in the garden and enjoy the view. It is a bit hard to find the exact location for first timers but people around will help you find it. You make new friends find new culture and willenjoy your time there without any doubt.

Wonderful place to stay when on a backpacking trip with no prior itinerary. We got to meet many like minded people and made friends here. And eventually our adventures and itineraries were planned with them. A big shout out to Dhaval, who coordinates events there. Will stay there again if I visit Manali in the future.

Zostel Manali was a good experience. The set up is colorful and vibrant. Rooms are neat and comfortable. High point of the place is the common room, which has comfortable seating, lot of books, games and an adorable pup. One drawback is the accessibility of the place. Its difficult to find the place and a fair bit of walking is required.

An experience of living inside a cozy cottage in the middle of a village. Look for no other places if you're looking to meet up with new people, share travel experiences and enjoy getting back to living in a hostel after college days.

Amazing place to crash, great location, nice ambience… bunk beds… staying with random people… making friends with random travellers, sharing experiences, getting to know about places to visit, routes to travel… Eating options etc… Talking about the hostel, rooms are clean, clean and hygienic washrooms… All in All a great place to stay… ^_^

One of the best (and the only hotel) I've been to. The place offers a warm stay with a dorm consisting 4-6 beds. You are sure to run into new people and hear about their travel stories. Their concept suits solo travellers the best. If you're in a group they'll make sure you're staying separately which is awesome.

Perfect to meet a lot of new people. Loved the hospitality and culture. Had enough freedom. Definitely in a place surrounded with a perfect environment for a getaway.

Beautiful location, away from the crowd and hustle bustle of New Manali. Although getting here is a bit of a trek, the view and the people here are worth it. Helpful, friendly staff. The rooms are comfortable and in great condition.

Lovely hostel! It's really beautiful and peaceful. Perfect for bagpackers. Clean dorms and bathrooms. We were two girls travelling and felt totally safe!

The hostel is located in the Old Manali so, it is a hike up the road to Manu Temple. The location is very good and you will get an awesome view of the Himalayas. The low price of the hostel is the plus point of staying here. For backpackers I would totally recommend it.

The location of the place is a bit remote but the view is very good here. The rooms are very cozy and clean. There is a common room which has a few books and games in disarray, only disappointment. The food was also good albeit it's price.

If your ever travelling alone or with friends zostel is the place to stay. The veiw is amazing and people and the staffs are also amazing. The food is on a whole another level, fresh and delicious food and and great ambience are among the other things.

If you are a solo traveller then Zostel is the best place you can stay. Its hostel but with a Z! When someone says manali the first thing that comea to the mind is Zostel Manali! Amazing dorms, great food and definitely would make new friends there. Travel buddies! The owners are great and would help you in whatever way possible no matter how irritating questions you ask the guys!

Great place to stay in Manali. They have comfortable rooms in a range of prices and a cafe which serves yummy food. The view from this place is wonderful, a treat to wake up to in the morning.

It's totally a different experience you actually feel like you are in hostel, the entire staff is very polite and helpful, the rooms are very satisfying comparing to the money you pay, the location is very calm and close to the market. Great place great people loved it.

Rooms are neat and clean. Manager Bharat is very friendly and helpful. You can meet people from different walks of life. It is great place if you are traveling solo or 2 at most. Wouldn't recommend for bigger groups.

One of the most beautiful places in Manali. The staff is friendly and food is good. Snowfall just multiplies the fun. Safe for solo female travellers as well. Had a memorable time. Would certainly recommend.
