Nice place to stay in Khajuraho.

Hotel Isabel Palace is very welcoming. It has nice large rooms with bright quiet views on the fields and gardens.
Close to the temple but not too much close, so quiet place.
Beautiful terraces with flowers and Basilic, great pecefull garden with lemon trees, banana trees… …
So… delicious banana pancakes possible made to order. And the best is the caring staff which makes all the difference with so many hotels… you are not considered as a "number" but as a real guest… which will often make you wanting to extend your stay and/or to come again.

Good spacious rooms, reasonable and we'll located … They have big trees in garden and hence no view and use of balcony… Also facilities and room service are too not good … Like to inside room doesn't have any volume …

Neat and clean hotel. The rooms were clean, the washrooms too were clean. Two major drawbacks are that the staff isn't well equiped with necessities such as ironing, tea requirements. Also, it is slightly far from the main market of khajuraho. Otherwise, great budget hotel!

Awesome … Good lunch specially egg curry… Try once Highly recommended. Privacy, peace clean, hygienic are first priority. Best hotel in khajuraho at reasonable price. A green garden view room is the best part of it. If u have a group of friend and come to khajuraho to explore it then go and stay at this place for rest. married /unmarried couple friendly (valid id of both except local id are necessary), no asked any questions about your privacy, if both of u are 18+ Staff have good behavior. Price 1200 for ac or less than depend on that day. Early check in and check out are allowed.

Beautiful house with garden, all the room give a view of the park. Our room is very spacious, clean, has A/C, TV, Wi-Fi, hot shower, room service. They have a restaurant with very good food and the same or better prices in the village. This is a bit off, between the airport and the people, of all modes of day you can the people go walking without problems and a rickshaw is very affordable. What I recommend.

A welcoming and family-friendly place, Ravishankar and Surendra managers are nice and go out of their way to please customers. The garden is beautiful and the food fresh and cooked with care. Thank you for the days you spent here… See you soon!

I was fascinated by the reviews of Hotel Isabel Palace I read on TripAdvisor and when we visited I found it same. I observed that this hotel is situated in a little far from the main road so this is a calm and cool place for peace lover. The Staff is very polite co operative and humble. Food is not so oily and spicy like other Indian hotels. This is one more plus point. Though customise food according to the taste is served on demand.

Like being at home. A clean place, to the outskirts of Khajurago, good kitchen on the terrace and good service. We provide everything you need.

The hotel was a bit hard to find as it's not located in the main Street. Once we located the hotel loved the rooms and stay. The room was neat and clean. Overall the hotel was good.

I cannot rate this place highly enough, if you're in Khajuraho for any amount of time make this place your choice. A family run hotel with a wonderful ethic, we felt welcome and were soon able to fully relax after travel. Rooms are good A/C and balcony with view over the lush gardens which are green all year round. There is a rooftop terrace with great views over the local area, which at the time of writing is mostly farm land. The real draw of this place though is the people; from the moment we arrived we were told to feel as part of the family and after a day or so it is hard not to. Akas, Ravi and Surendra in particular made sure we had everything we needed with genuine kindness. From bottled mineral water to arranging a massage to getting our money changed after we were refused by the local SBI bank (the bank seems to work a hustle with the local money changers as a warning). All in all this is the kind of experience that needs 6 stars. Also try the Navaratan Curry.

Place was nice. Peace. Clean. Good service. But they don't provide bill and charger GST over site bookings. However they gave me some relaxation also… But taxi service is not good and seemed to be greedy. If you have your own vehicle it would be good and try to have formal bill if GST is charged. Please pay only booking site amount.

Very nice place… fabulous! the room is big and very comfortable… the staff are friendly… and it has a roof top to see sunset everyday while drinking coffee… if I can give 10 star I would!.

Beautiful hotel. Picturesque. With all the services. Its owner, despite being very young he carries very well and has good taste. Rooms inmesas, others are not but comfortable and spacious, with a balcony. Large bathrooms. The hot water works perfectly. It has a terrace where they offer breakfast and a dining room. Many of the guest rooms fan out to a large and green park where you listen to the birds. Everything is spotless and clean. There is a boutique to buy clothing, gifts and alajas and services like laundry and massage Ayurvedicos very good. It is a peaceful place. The people are very friendly. I came with the group of Hello India and I very much enjoyed my stay. I recommend to consult the local guide in Khajuraho, Laura. He is very friendly and hardworking and speaks 5 languages.

A nice budget hotel with clean rooms, hygienic toilets, clean linen, friendly staff and a great cook. A good hotel without glossy trappings but effective utility driven facilities.

The hotel itself is nice with clean rooms and a nice rooftop view and jungle garden. The breakfast included was good. The restaurant itself was mediocre. They offered to pick us up from the train station upon booking under the pretenses of it being included in the room only we got charged for it upon check out. Also don’t take their transportation as they overcharge like crazy. 1000 rupees for a day in the taxi to see three groups of temples and of course a stop included to a local craftsman shop was included with “no pressure” to buy. I’ve travelled India for months and never paid this much for transportation in my trips. IF you stay here, rent a bike and travel the city yourself for much much cheaper. We should have complained but as two girls we didn’t feel comfortable making a scene.

Excellent and courteous staff. Access good. Food well prepared. Ideal for mid level travellers not averse to walking.

Nice quite place with space outside to chill out. Clean, spacious rooms and private balcony. Just off the main road, cycling and walking distance to the main tempels and town center.

Truly great place to stay! The staff are well trained, helpful, attentive, and very very nice. The beds are super comfy, the place is sparkling clean, and the food from their restaurant is great. I can only recommend staying at Hotel Isabel Palace.

I stayed in Isabel palace for a few days during Diwali festival. The Hotel is beautiful, has everything you need. But the 5-star is definitely for the hotel stuff, whole family who runs the property. They helped me with some issues, treated me like I am a part of their family. Amazing people with everyday big smiles on their faces. Highly recommended!

Just enough for necessary short stay in Khajuraho. Staff is mild mannered and assist you in all their capacity. Rooms are spacious.

Most promising hotel around the place. Though being one of the famous tourist destinations and UNESCO heritage site, this city has many hotel and Isabel is beyond comfortable. Close to National parks and in the heart of the Khajuraho town. 2kms from the temple and 2.5kms from the airport. The large rooms and the structure will definitely make your stay comfortable. Staff is good. Never order a biryani from this place. You will get disappointed.

I go to Hotel Isabel Palace, the guy Surendra rajak is very nice and polite. Hotel and Surendra is OK, but I should complain something here. He introduced tuktuk man Ajju to me as tour guide. Ajju took me to a sculpture store, Ganpati Palace. The storekeeper is a cheater. I bought a copper sculpture of Laxmi in 42 USD. The staff packing it with newspapers, while the storekeeper talking to me at the other side of store. When I came home, open the pack, what I saw is not my Laxmi sculpture, What I saw is a sculpture with a broken hand. When I mail them to complain, they said I should check it before I left the store. I asked them to parcel the sculpture to me, they cheat again, they said the parcel fee should be 300 USD, but I check the post office website, it just costs 610 RS. Maybe the tuktuk man Ajju and other guys are involved in, but I actually don’t know. So When you guys travel in Khajuraho, please be careful. They are cheater. Staff was so rude. Didn't give GST Bill they are use and giving old vat bills to customer… dinner and break fast was not good.

Environment is good of hotel and try to taste METHI CHICKEN it's really good but take care of you and don't trust each one because it's tourist place.

Such an amazing experience at the Isabel Palace. Everyone was so kind and helpful, the food was fresh and delicious, the rooms were beautiful and comfortable, a lovely rooftop view, lovely courtyard, a shop full of great things… can't say enough good things about this place!

Very welcoming people. Clean and comfortable rooms. Just a little bit far from the village but quiet, and the tuc tuc drivers take you wherever you need (we recommend you Rakesh-ask for him at the reception).

I stayed there for 4 nights in September 2014, from 18th to 22nd.
I was really happy with my selection of Hotel Isabel Palace, as it has got things to really cheer about.
Firstly, the price is great at which the owners provide the services.
The location is an extremely peaceful and clean area. It is a new property and is very clean too!.
The rooms are quite spacious and pleasant with balconies/windows having beautiful garden views which make a treat to your eyes, specially in… the morning :)
The owners (Surendra and company) are very supportive and kind.
Really appreciate the relation with them and this hotel! Will definitely visit there again and recommend this to everyone!
