The Country Hotel Anna is hidden away, under a volcanic cliff. In the midst of fields containing Icelandic horses and sheep. It is easily accessible from the ring road, and has rooms furnished with interesting antiques and mementos from their namesake's travels. There is a pleaseant lounge. It is a reasonable distance if you want to catch the ferry to the Westmann islands, or see a couple of waterfalls. The staff was engaging, but also discreet. The breakfast had a good assortment of things to eat, with scrambled eggs and bacon being available. Delicious coffee. There is a restaurant on site. There are some local hikes described in the information binders. With these, you definitely can interact with the friendly animals.

Very good location. The staff is very nice and available. The restaurant is very good! Everything is very clean and very well maintained. The atmosphere is rather familial and friendly! Go spend a few days to relax, you will not regret it!

Amazing hotel and a fantastic last night for us while in Iceland. Room was clean, tidy and cozy. Staff were unbelievably helpful and the restaurant food quality was astounding. Would recommend staying here — and also plan to eat at the restaurant when you do.

I cannot imagine a more perfect experience the encapsulates the wonders of Iceland. The food is incredible, the service is amazing, and the rooms remind you of why travel is good for the heart and soul. Absolutely loved the hospitality, care and personal touch from Hotel Anna. From the moment we arrived, we were well looked after and made to feel comfortable. The rooms were a lot bigger than we expected and were decorated in an antique, but not dated style. The food was delicious, especially the lamb.

It is a small and pleasant little and very close to the park of Eyjafjallajökull, in which there are beautiful waterfalls and glaciers.
Close to the sea, it has seven rooms; Ours was big and comfortable and the breakfast pretty good and varied. It also has a jacuzzi where you will get the colds of the place.

The food is upscale and delicious. Service was very good, and the atmosphere was quaint and personal.

Restaurant quality and proper price.

Wonderful little restaurant. Got in just before lunch ended. Their bread is amazing! I could eat meals of just their bread! Waitress was so nice.

We drove by and stopped for a quick coffee break. Not many food choices (as expected) but nice view and friendly service.

Hard to discern from the photos just how nice this place is. Great food, beautiful setting, superb service.

This is a lovely hotel, friendly staff, and very clean. Breakfast is included in price and you can get meals here as well. The food was great. For anyone who may be scent sensitive the stay here is ok. I would recommend it to anyone. If you are driving watch carefully or you will pass it… Stayed May 12/17

Fantastic hotel. Lovely hosts. Views and rooms are stunning. Restaurant food delicious however a little in the expensive side if you're visiting from abroad.

Great location, just seems to get out of this world (and maybe it has really …). Good dinner and the staff, especially the Italian boy (David if I'm not mistaken).

Ate out at the restaurant during our road trip through Iceland, thoroughly enjoyed the meal both due to the food itself and the hospitality of the waiter. Would definitely visit again.

Perfect place to spend the night. The staff is very nice and treated us great. We were on honeymoon and room decor was great. There is a Jacuzzi and sauna. The best accommodation I've ever been. 11 over 10.
