I was super excited to stay at the hotel for 3 nights April 14-17. Unfortunately IcelandAir cancelled our flights and we were unable to visit. I attempted to reach out to the hotel multiple times to explain our flights were cancelled. The hotel denied they could assist and still charged for the full amount. I have attempted to contact the hotel again as well as the airlines and credit company. One would think a country run on tourism would be more agreeable to assist customers. Unfortunately they would not adjust the days of the booking to accommodate a date in June. Very disappointed in the service and customer response.

I recently returned from a two-night stay at 41 Townhouse and was absolutely bowled over by the accommodations and warm reception by Sonja and crew. I reserved room 109 (a very nice studio-style apartment with kitchen and lounge seating area) and was incredibly impressed by the deluxe furnishings and thoughtful attention to detail. The kitchen was equipped with coffee beans, sugar, milk, and plenty of cooking utensils for folks wanting to save a few krona and cook in their room. The king-sized bed and its linens were sumptuous and cozy, and the gorgeous bathroom with a rain-like shower head and nice shower amenities was a welcome treat after three nights of camping in Iceland. Even with the street-facing bedroom, the bar noise was never a problem on Friday and Saturday night, and I so enjoyed Sonja's tips for dining and entertainment. She was a friendly face each morning and evening and, as a woman traveling solo, I appreciated her insight on places to go to have a good time on my own. I will gladly recommend 41 Townhouse to every person I know seeking a luxurious place to stay in the heart of Reykjavik!

The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The rooms are super clean and overall really nice.

Awesome hotel in the center of the shopping strip in Reykjavik. Loved this studio apartment. The in room kitchen area was compact, clean and excellent, stocked with all the essentials. Staff was friendly and welcoming, going to miss the in room espresso machine. Would highly recommend staying here!

Absolutely great rooms and service. If I get a chance to visit iceland again this is where I will book my room. Everything was top notch service and in the heart of Reykjavik.

One of the best hotels ever. You have a fully furnished apartment in the center of Reykjavik. Just book it, it is worth it.

Modern, upscale room facing the busy Laugavegur but all was quiet after midnight & the location in the restaurant bar area was convenient. Security was a bit inconvenient but was good to feel safe. Our room was not ready when we arrived but the kind desk clerk gave us an upgrade and immediate access.

Excellent place with premium facilities. Every spot in reykjavik is expensive but you wont regret choosing this place to stay in reykjavik. Heaters in room, spacious bathroom, even they provide you bathrobe and towels if you decide to go to hot springs around reykjavik. They provide you with full kitchen facilities if you like to cook your own food. The superior room has a good view of the main street and the penthouse has the view of the sea.

Great place to stay. Lovely, comfortable bedroom with kitchen area which had everything you could need to be able to cater for yourself. Even a 2 place setting dishwasher!

Actually not a hotel. It's a fashion Airbnb. Very design sense! Also very clean and novel. Like the wind will definitely live here. The disadvantage is. There are too few sockets. There are too few trash cans.

LOVED everything about this place! Location, decor & service was fantastic! Hotel even provided a local cell phone with data for our use during our entire stay, which came in real handy when driving around Iceland.

Cozy, large rooms, nice staff, what more can you ask for? Great location near the center of Reykjavik.

Loved the hotel,. The decor, the friendly service, the great coffee in the room and the perfect location, right in the center of town, made it an excellent choice. Tour buses pick up location is at a 2 minute walk. Restaurants up an down the street. Ensure you get on a bus to get to Reykjavik from the airport or pay in excess of $200 for a taxi ride!

Horrible experience. Construction work 10 feet away from 8am to past 10:30pm. Loud beyond belief. Plus you can't open your shades… workers right there or the windows for fresh air. Avoid this place!

Great location. Spacious accommodation. Terrific room. The only negative is the check-in time is late for US based flight arrivals and there is no public area to aid in the wait. That can make for a long first day in Reykjavik especially if you didn't sleep much before your arrival in the country.

Fantastic apartment, great location, very helpful staff. One of the king sized rooms was only big enough for one person, but that was our only issue.

Great hotel, location is good at the side of the center with nearby (affordable) parking for your car. Staff was very friendly and had great restaurant suggestions. Room was clean and very comfortable, we especially liked to espresso machine in the room! Would go there again.

Check in was super easy. We were caught off guard by a request for a $300 deposit. The room was basically a studio apartment with no closet, which was fine for our purpose. The place was recently renovated. Full kitchen, modern bathroom, and the most comfortable bed we had in week of staying at other places. One thing that we thought was the best was that we couldn't hear our neighbors, which was a welcome piece. The location was just outside of the city center, so if you are with someone with mobility issues, it could be too far for them to walk around.

Excellent stay in Reykjavik — friendly staff, well appointed room with all facilities (coffee machine, dishwasher, oven, fridge etc)

We stayed at 105, A Townhouse Hotel. It was exceptionally good value for money. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on in a hotel. The room is small but you don't need a big room. The amenities are clean and new. We stayed here for two nights before heading south. We came back to Reykjavik before flying out and unfortunately had already booked an Airbnb, if we'd been able to cancel we would have and stayed here again. Couldn't recommend this place more. I don't often leave reviews but this place is worth a stay.

Right in the heart of Reykjavik. Very friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Our studio room had a dishwasher, oven, stove top, toaster, espresso machine, fridge, and sink. Top notch.

Great location, very modern, well equipped kitchen (we only ate out once in 5 days, wonderful coffee machine, friendly and helpful staff.
