Just got back to the states after spending a week in Iceland. We traveled the country and spent a few nights in different hotels, but Skuggi was by far the best! We stayed there for the first night of our trip and couldn’t wait to get back there for the last night. The staff was fantastic. The breakfast was great. Everything was clean and comfortable. When we checked out after the first night, they asked us if there was anything that we didn’t like and the only complaint we had was that it was a little too warm in the room and that the only window that opened was very tiny and didn’t let enough air in. (If you haven’t been to Iceland before, you should know that they do not have air conditioning anywhere). When we checked in for the last night, they had us set up in a room on the top floor with a large window and even already had a fan waiting for us. The bar tender was very friendly, and gave us lots of tips and information about the area (as well as some really good drinks). None of the other places we stayed came close to the level Skuggi was on.
