To find a food like that in Siglufjörður is amazing! It was brilliant, all the courses and the service was friendly. I do recommand it and don´t forget to book a table :)

We had Moroccan food at the restaurant and it was the best meal we had in Iceland!

I would never recommend this facility because the owner Halfdan is completely unreasonable to work with.

I wouldn’t even give this property 1 star, it deserves zero. We accidentally made a reservation through the website Booking that my mother didn’t realize was non refundable. We called and spoke with the owner, Halfdan, and he initially indicated he would be happy to work with us and then changed his mind and said no. Our reservation isn’t until June. If this property was as nice as everyone indicated then they would have absolutely no trouble rebooking this during the high season. Halfdan also tried to blame the inability to refund money on the website booking and booking said this is absolutely the properties decision. I am incredibly disappointed in the service from this property and I would expect them to do the right thing. Buyer beware when going to this property.

It's okay, it's clean and cosy, they even included earplugs, I wish the room had a bathroom Inside.

Rooms are ok (clean, beds are comfortable), food in the marrokkanese Restaurant is really EXCELLENT! The staff is really friendly and helpful, we would always come back here!

Wonderful — world class botique guest-house. Gentrified old house. Extremely tastefully furnished and decorated. Large room, fine bed, good shover, great staff. The Maroccoian restaurant on the ground-floor is one of the very best in Iceland. And reasonably priced. Excellent outdoor area for smokers — and others … :)

The staff have been so gracious to us! From meeting the receptionist, to the bar tender, to the chef has been a pleasure. They treat you like this is home.

The best guesthouse we have slept in on Iceland. It has everything you need.

The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated. The small size so no longer bothered me. The secure style of the institution is continuing all over the House. In the cosy lounge you can sit very much like with a good beer and an Internet connection, which leaves no wish unfulfilled. Only small criticism is that the dining area represents a connecting room to some sleeping rooms of guests. Guests who eat are therefore often disturbed by arriving or departing guests.

Stayed there last summer and it was absolutely perfect. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very well equipped with a modern interior.

Excellent place, people. Just the best hotel in Iceland. Magic atmosphere, everything "on" during the night. And those local women so polite and helpfull. We love the owner too! Monti & Xosé

Really nice hotel. We were there a little before peak season, and they upgraded us from our booked "shared bathroom" to a bathroom of our own, with no charge. They have a nice bar, game room, and reading room, which I imagine is pretty fun when there are more people sharing the hotel. Very unique rooms, and modern, purchaseable art on the wall. Highly recommended.
