This guesthouse is located about 30 minutes' drive from Egilsstadir, along a river on a gravel road. It is very quiet out here. They offer dinner and/or breakfast for an added fee, and complimentary tea, coffee, and hot chocolate.
We stayed at the little campsite close to the guest house. It is very silent, with the sound of the river passing close to the guest house. The campsite is sheltered from the wind by the hill which makes it even better.
The shower is hot and clean, it even has a heater! There is electricity in the bathroom and the free Wi-Fi of the guest house reaches both the bathroom and the campsite.
10/10 will come again.
