Our room was a bit too small and the little sink in the way. Some hooks to hang stuff would be nice.
Bathrooms are sufficient and spacious and clean.
Service was nice. Breakfast was awesome.
Our room was comfy, but lacked light. The guesthouse is a separate house with three rooms. Our room had its own bathroom. The rooms had a central shared kitchen with a refrigerator, coffee pot, tea, coffee and silverware. There is also a hotel and restaurant on the grounds with a bar and a large lounge area. Be sure to see the nearby falls called Hengifoss which has horizontal layers of red rock at the end of a lovely hiking trail which featured other waterfalls and grazing sheep.

Old house, a bit spartan. But probably a real guesthouse, contrary to most others which are actually hotels.
The breakfast at the hotel next to the house is very good.
And the environment is terrific!
