Money has been stolen from our room until we were out for dinner. The key left at the reception desk, but upon our return, it was not found the backup key was missing as well. Finally, an unmarked key was given to us. Hen getting into we have immediately seen that someone was searching through our personal belongings and all the cash was stolen from ym wife’s purse. We immediately notified the reception. Practically the receptionist was surprised but practically nothing hs been done, The manager was not talking to us and left the totally unprepared receptionist to manage the situation, We requested another room with keys available at least to keep safe our stuff, but they were not able to do that, so we have to cancel our night out. We just received a remark from one of the staff why we were e planning anything after 10 pm. Ridiculous.
After several rounds of discussion before our departure, we have reduced the bill amount with the amount stolen as per the message of the manager they are not able to give us any compensation for our inconvenience, finally, they have not billed the parking fee (2000HUF) We have left very disappointed and without any form of apologies from the hotel staff.
Do not go there it is not safe and the hotel staff and management is below any standards.
