Fantastic hotel for a short stay. Beautiful grounds, clean rooms and very friendly staff. Restaurant was nice with cheap food, good quality. Only 15mins walk to lots of shops (Tesco, Muller, etc). Highly recommended and thanks to Carmen for being so helpful!

Very dated decor, but don't let that put you off, especially if you need an inexpensive place near the Budapest airport. The shuttle bus was an extra bonus (extra fee). The rooms were clean. The breakfast was a little sparse for the price, but helpful for our group of 17 to have as an option.

A very good place, it is very cosy, clean. Thr staff is very friendly and helping one. They have parking lot and can ensure airport shuttle bus.

The location was excellent and the staff were very helpful. Simple Hungarian furnishings.
For 1/2 nights It is enough to take a little deeper into your pocket and to buy a more expensive room with a better bed.
Breakfast is good bourgeois, the restaurant for Budapest affordable and very tasty.
Links to the public transport network are also top with a bus stop in front of the hotel. By bus It takes a few minutes to a tram transit point and from there quickly to one of the big distributors. The bus also runs up peeks into the night back to the hotel.
There is a guarded and closed parking lot a small spa area which was renovated to my stay and an outdoor children's playground.
The accommodation gets a star deduction, however, because I drove 3 or 4 times by, because it is hardly recognizable from the street.

I stayed here before a 7 AM flight, which meant I needed to go to sleep very early to get a decent night’s sleep. Unfortunately, the bed was not comfortable at all so I ended up lying awake in bed for hours and slept very little before my flight. The mattress was rock hard and the sheets were a horribly rough terrycloth (towel) material. As is typical of the hotels I stayed in in Budapest, the pillow was lumpy. Also, the shower has a button you have to push every 10 seconds to keep the water on. On the upside, we enjoyed our meal at the restaurant there. And the front desk lady was nice enough and the airport shuttle worked well. But be aware that because this is the cheaper option, the airport shuttle is €10 extra. So in the end, our small overall savings wasn’t really worth the lack of comfort.

Well, I won’t be back if I can help it, the woman had a terrible attitude towards me, firstly stood there waiting for ages still holding my luggage while she was on the phone, then says I haven’t paid! Which I had, near enough told to get lost as I had arrived on Sunday about 9pm and asked if food was available. Booked in again for flight back and got this woman again and everything seemed to much hassle for her, sighs grunts and so on. Overall I felt she was very rude to me. I’ve read other reviews about rude staff aswell.

A bit antiquated but still clean and comfortable place that seems to be frequented by people traveling through. The place was quiet and the breakfast good. Showers have buttons so that was a bit annoying.

Very nice rooms but you can hear a bit from the outside of them. Lovely place. It is in a busy area but it feels like a safe and nice area. Service was OK. If you need to get to the city or airport they offer help with the transport.

Booked because of location… very close to airport, stores. Somewhat hard to find from street but worth it. Very reasonable. Shuttle to and from airport.

We stayed here for one night because it is very close to the airport, and we had an early flight the next morning. It is a very basic accommodation but this was all we required for one night, considering its convenience and the price. Do not expect anything grand but it is a great spot to stay near the airport and has all the basic requirements for an overnight stay. The restaurant was also very cheap with good portions of food, downstairs.

This is a great place to stay if you need to get to Budapest Airport. The staff at Sarokhaz Panzio is very friendly and inviting. The rooms are spotless clean and the vibe is very relaxing. Their food is also very good and I enjoyed my stay thoroughly. Even thought the hotel is located in a fairly central area, close to the main road, from the rooms you'd never notice it. I would definitely recommend Sarokház Panzió.

Due to BA cancellation, I have to stay for one night. Didn't expect too much fancy stuff, the hotel is satisfactory in terms of basic amenities like private bath room and wireless. Restaurant is part of the hotel, so dining is very convenient as well. The big issue is that the room is not sound proof, I can literally hear people talk loudly next door as well as in the corridors. I woke up at 5am due to the noise. Moreover, the window cannot block light. 5am in the morning it is very bright. I understand the hotel is cheap and that's what one paid for, but I don't think a good sleep is a luxury ask.

The room is simple but clean and comfortable, the restaurant very good, I think they have fantasy menu, but we were for a body Building competition and we can't eat, the staff is fantastic very gentle and helpful! They have a shuttle service that bring you at airport, at shopping center, at the gym, where you want go they go. Great people!

The place is curious. Located in an airport area in the middle of low-cost parking, the face of the owner is almost sympathetic to the look of the rather murky place. Don't trust it. You quickly identify the character who asks you to pay in advance and in cash. He has planned everything: a service station located 200 M further is equipped with a distributor.
The payment made, you discover your room, located in one of the adjoining buildings.
Surprise: The bed is not made and there are no sheets in the room. As there is no phone, you return to the reception. The boss welcomes you in Ralant and gives you a sheet. Back in the room, you find that it is a sheet a place… So you go back to the reception again. The keeper gets you with a "What, again? ". You explain the problem to him by pointing out that it is not serious. There it becomes aggressive (you are still in the middle of nowhere in the night). He then calls an employee (her daughter? ), on which he cries on. She moves with you to see, you go back with her to the reception pick up the second sheet (there is no big one) and you return to the room to make your bed (! ). The duvet cover and pillowcases are in a fabric like bed top, that's how it is. The mattress must have known the Soviet years.

The ladies were so welcoming and helpful, just when we needed kind support.
Hungarians are lovely people. We've done a bit of a European tour, and Budapest was the best.
Like to come back, if so this hotel, will book a rental car, definitely.

Our favorite place to stay in Budapest after a long flight across the pond. Shuttle from airport, great staff, amazing food in the restaurant at a great price (try the poor mans pork with salo and onions, and a bowl of bean goulas), free Wi-Fi, great price, family friendly.

We stayed there in 2009 and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of service. Highly recommended if you're around Budapest airport.
