Central for all transport. Food lovely, covers all tastes & textures for those having had dental treatment. Staff very friendly & helpful. See you next time.

Our second stay. Handy for transport links. Food was good. The only thing to say is that more milk and sugar in bedrooms. Staff all very friendly and obliging.

Very nice hotel, clear and food is nice. Only problem is that the double rooms are a bit too small, and those two beds are way to close to each other and I have to move it apart. Other than that, everything is perfect.

Dissapointed. The room was very small for what I expected and the "SPA" is not a SPA! It is a pool with cold water even if the say it is 27 degrees it is not. Once you are in it is ok but It took me a while to get in. And a Sauna, which was good, but not a Spa! It is overpriced for what you get. If you want breakfast you have to pay 13 euros extra per day and per person. … The location was great. Only 100 m to the station and 3 stops to get the city centre. I had an issue as I forgot something the day of my check-out so I realised while I was back home. So I called them 6 times. They were saying all the time to call back in a hour to see if they have information regarding my stuff… So I decided to tell them to call me back when they have the information but it never happened so I kept calling. It was this last person I talked to who was very kind and nice, who found out if my stuff was there or not. Her name is Monika, thank you very much. I can't believe that a 4 stars hotel has given me that bad treatment after being their guest and spent the money I spent in only 3 nights. It is not professional at all and I hope Managers and Director take a note on this feedback and provide a good 4 star training for those who apparently don't have manner and not empathetic with the customer even it is not longer staying at the property. Bad experience so I won't repeat for sure. Thank you.

Friendly staff but that's where the praise ends. Ran a bath during my visit and the water was brown. Later I ordered Hearty Meat Soup at the Coffee shop in the lobby and it was disgusting. How can you not be able to make soup? A 4 year old with a blindfold would make a better attempt. Sack the chef immediately. He's obviously an imposter.

Four-star hotel that meets category standards. Clean and full of amenities, it's on the outskirts of town, the neighborhood isn't nice but just take the subway and you're in the center within minutes. Breakfast is rich but mostly salty. In general a great choice for visiting the city.

Im not sure if its a 4 star hotel, but its a respectable place to stay.
The hotel room was ok, a bit "old" (not state of the art accomodation & room design).
In my case I found some blood in my undersheets. I know that they changed the sheets every day, but they didnt pay attention to the undersheets…
Breakfast time! Big variaton of food to pick, good quality & many stuff to drink as well.
One time we decided to eat for lunch in the hotel's restaurant. As the only one speaking english, I ordered everything for me & my dad.
I ordered a pizza & the waitress brought us only 1 plate & 1 knife… Bad service…

It’s not 4 star. It is cle@n and efficient however it is not in Center of town and you did to take taxis. The taxi drivers rip you off.

We're not there! The stars have put them at random, evidently The cleaning of the room is summary, a lot of dust, even above the shoulder pad of the bed. Depending on who cleans your room, you can be lucky to have a box of new tissues (I stayed here 4 days and no one has changed the finished box with a new one), soaps and single-serve shampoos, I always had to ask for them, they almost never supply them. The mattress is the most uncomfortable I've ever had, it's super soft. Finally avoid the restaurant because they can't make even a simple pasta dish.

Worst hotel to stay of you are expecting great service. I stayed here for 2 nights. Was waiting to check out. Everything is below standards. If you ask hotel staff anything all they have to say is " why are you asking me". Very rude and arrogant behaviour of the staff. They don't change the tea cups which are used previous day. Not friendly hotel. I wouldn't recommend anyone. I m gonna screw my tour manager who has put me in this pathetic place.

Worst Hospitality ever seen. This country earns it's living by Tourism and the Manager and Reception staff act like they are doing you a Huge favour. Very impolite. Very rude. Utter nuisance of a human being. And AC doesnt cool enough plus the stink never goes away. House keeping doesnt change the used cups even a whole days. When we asked the Reception for drinking water. He reply was, "Why are you asking me? " Utter bad experience.

This is my second visit to the Danubius Arena hotel. Some things are better, some not so. First up, what happened to the Tea and Coffee and kettle in the room?, I miss that… Secondly, the Internet service in the Room has improved… As for people's comments about the cleaning staff, there are 8 floors in the hotel and the cleaning staff are working flat out to keep it clean… they do their best… The Staff in the coffee shop are very nice and friendly. Once you get to know them you will see, they are very hard working and have a great sense of humour. The food could be improved, it's not the best food ever and I think the menu could be brought up to date and be a little more extensive… especially for us Kreativ Dental folk who need soft food each day… (Whaat!, NO Ice Cream? ) … The Breakfast room is now on floor 3, and is fairly busy most of the time, the food is extensive for choice but I would say fairly low quality. The rooms have air conditioning and the beds are of average quality. The decor has been slightly modernised but still looks a little dated. The Area that this hotel is situated in is not the best, however transport links are first class. The Metro to town is just 2 minutes around the corner and public transport is very cheap. Overall, the Arena Hotel is not bad for the money, it's a budget priced hotel that has 4 stars. It could be better but it's fairly cheap, so it is what it is.

It's pretty nice. Decent rooms, decent food, but the location is kinda junky and the Wi-Fi absolutely sucks. Like really really bad.

Great location! 2 minutes walk from M2 metro line. Walkable distance from Arena Plaza mall. 24h reception desk, which is good if you are about to arrive/leave in the middle of the night. Cleaning could have been better, we got the room with a weird smell and the hous keeping didn't really cleaned our room every day.

Hotel a 4 stelle eccellente! Situato fuori dal centro che però è facilmente raggiungibile in 5 minuti con la metropolitana m2 rossa a 100 metri dall'hotel. Camere molto pulite e ben organizzate. Molti I servizi offerti, come il centro fitness. Personale molto cortese e sempre disponibile. Assolutamente consigliato.

Good service. Great price given the quality of the room and the breakfast.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom very small and shower head and faucet very scaled. Toilet is constantly dripping and our room would not be cleaned for 2 days even though we have the sign "please clean". Prices are reasonably reasonable and the breakfast buffet is plentiful and large. Advantage is located right next to the sports arena.

Were accommodated here due to a flight cancellation. The hotel looks much better from the inside than from the outside. The breakfast was very good — great choice and quality perfectly fine. The coffee unfortunately only instant coffee. The lunch was unfortunately only moderate, ready soup, concentrated steeping turkey sliced with rice. However, the dessert was much better again.
The hotel is right on the subway as the breakfast was well recommended.

3 day stay, very helpful staff, suitable rooms but pity the bathroom smaller than the Suns.

Cleanliness was the only light in the hotel, food and clause in restaurant frightening, here you felt like in a komunistische dictatorship where people work because have to work without any respect for the hotel guests.

An amazing place to live with perfect view and the receptionists are so friendly! I recommend you to live there!

Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Stayed here as part of a dental package. Customer services is practically non existant. There is no regard whatsoever for the customer. Theres a service charge for absolutely everything brought by staff who wish they were elsewhere. Kettle in room but no tea or coffee! Do not eat there… Total rip off… Shame on you as a hotel… four stars? No way… PS a word of advise… be careful with taxis… they will try and rip you off at every opportunity… such a shame for a beautiful city to treat tourists so badly.

Balcony door that does not close properly in the room fortunately there are insulating curtains because with a day of 1cm the cold voted made to enter…

It's not even by far the best 4 star hotel I've ever been to. It is far from the center but well connected. The staff and the service were very friendly, the dining room was good and the hotel overall too spacious and with many agglomerations. It is logical and much more can not be ordered depending on the price. In its vicinity is the stadium Ferenc Puskas.

It was a beautiful place to stay and I would come back anytime.

Good hotel in a slightly decentralized location but very convenient to public transport metro and bus, in the area of sports facilities in Budapest (stadium and just adjacent to the Arena stadium where sports events and concerts are held. The rooms are comfortable but housekeeping are not always made as you would expect from a 4 star hotel. Breakfast with a lot of choice of savory dishes while for desserts you have to settle for various types of pastries of puff pastry being absent the classic desserts to slice. Wellness area Satisfactory Although the swimming pool does not lend much to swimming given the low depth, sauna present but not the Turkish bath, nothing to say instead on the gym very well equipped with equipment and composed of two rooms and free body gear. There is a good restaurant and a bar area that also prepares restaurant dishes.

2 steps from the Metro stop. Basic room. International breakfast.

Some kind of building works from early in the morning somewhat ruined the experience; unsure if holiday bonus or hotel was at fault but our double was a twin with two beds pushed together, decor is dated, but hotel is well located, 3-4 metro stops from Central, if you're on the right side of the building you can just about see Central, and there's a nearby Tesco, cinema, and other shops. €1.50ish/450ft city tax pppn, and €50 or bank card security deposit. Didn't use the pool/gym etc.

I really don't know how this hotel is a 4 star? My room was clean but of a 2 star standard. Rest food was very average, the foyer area is very dated but the pool area is reasonably good. Staff were ok but location of hotel is a bit out of town. Close to metro and bus lines and plenty of taxis outside on main road or just outside arena mall. All in all this hotel barely scrapes a 3 star standard…

Quite comfortable, well sound insulated rooms. Well located next to Metro so only 10 minutes from centre of Budapest.

The facilities and restaurant were pretty good. Part of the staff was nice, but the staff at the lobby could provide a better customer service. The hotel is near to one of the metro stations and several bus and tram stations, which made it easy to move in the city.

Pro: The breakfast selection is good and the location is very near a metro station and the main arena. Con: The staff were extremely rude when I asked to be moved into a non-smoking room due to issues with asthma. While I understand that indoor smoking is common in this part of Europe, accommodations should be readily available when this becomes a problem. Apparently the hotel was completely booked so I as offered the only other room available which was the "accessible room" on the 3rd floor. The room was clean and smoke free, but the sink tap would not stay on unless continually held and the floor drain was not at the lowest part of the floor resulting in the pooling of water in the middle of the bathroom as a result of lack of shower barriers.

Friendly staff and great location to travel into the city. Daily room cleaning if needed and decent food in Restaurant.

The hotel looks better on the inside than on the outside. The food and service are good, the food is good the rooms are on the tiny side and the pillows are as thin as paper. Gave it 4 stars only because of the gym and Spa — it is huge and of very high quality.

I have been here a couple of times. The staff are helpfull and friendly. Great place to stay, close to the metro and has an indoor pool and gym. The breakfast is kind of expencive but I'm gluten and lactose intollerant so I buy mine at the supermarket and store in the fridge. The only minus (that is a plus) it is a bit far to the city centre, but quiet. Close to the Arkad Mall and Arena mall. I will book here again!

Nice and clean place. At the reception you find the people kind and helpful and if you have my luck you find a dull asshole that not only does not help you but it makes your life more difficult!

The hotel is at a crossroads of bus, tram and metro, you can easily reach every point of the city in a short time.

Staff nice. Room ok. View to city street Burger King. Hit a busy rush with our abnormal 19:00 check in. Assistance with airport shuttle available.

Very good hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a good fitness center and a swimming pool. You can find many public transport near.

Everything is a mess and by whole means this is not a 4* hotel. Nobody is polite except a young person in the reception who was trying to find a solution to all this mess! As soon as I arrived problem with electricity. No elevator and had to choose if I wanted to go to the room using the stairs on the 8th floor or have to wait in the bar. Only that young male person at the reception was polite and helpfull and asked the bar to treat me with coffee until they would repair the electricity.
Many mistakes and problems and of course I will never stay here again. I chose this hotel next to the arena where I had a seminar … was a business trip… but never met it again for a Hotel to be like this although lots of people come here for different events that take place to the both stadiums here…

The Hotel was a little bit old. Reception staff available Mediocre buffet restaurant and little waiters available. (Other unproven services) It doesn't look like a 4 star, the cost for the services offered is high. Good location for access to the city center.

A really great Hotel. We were very enthusiastic, especially the views of the 8. Floor (after Budapest) to new year's eve, it has us very impressed. From the outside makes the Hotel just in daylight, not too good impression, however, that both the staff and the premises is well again. The location is excellent. The Metro Station is only 2 minutes away from the Hotel. The shopping center Arena Plaza is only 10 minutes walking distance. A tip, you ordered for a small charge of the Breakfast directly to the room. This is more than worth it and rewarding! Who is a comfortable Hotel not in the centre but with a good connection to this, the Danubius Hotel Arena is the best advice.

Fantastic room and service.

It is a very good hotel with very good food and very good facilities. The only thing that I didn't like is the reception's rude. I had a realy good time and I wish to go back again.
