This is a perfect base for a visit to Budapest. The rooms have everything you need, with comfortable and spotlessly clean linens, a hot and strong shower, and they're so cosy, even when it's freezing outside. After a long day seeing the sights and the Christmas markets it was lovely to come back and relax with a drink in the bar. You can walk to many places from the Fortuna, and the public transport system is easily accessible too. They can arrange taxis to pick you up from the airport or for your return, using licensed drivers, for a standard fee, and all the staff we met were friendly and helpful. The Fortuna isn't a fancy hotel, but it is incredibly good value, it has everything you need and Budapest is beautiful.

Very central boat hotel, next to Margarita Island. You can park on the street of the river promenade for just over 3o per day. Breakfast is not very good.

Yesterday, staying at the boat Hotel Fortuna Boat house, docked at the Danube in Budapest, opposite Margaret Island, adjacent to Margaret Bridge, the Boathouse will be moved conveniently to all the locations of the points of distribution.
Very good accommodation experience, very beautiful Danube scenery, the staff is very friendly, service is very good, breakfast is not wrong boathouse parked on the Danube, enjoy the beauty of the city, Ha also brought small projector, in the boat to see the film. Enjoy a quiet night in the cozy cabin room with Hungarian cuisine at the barbecue restaurant and cocktail terrace with impressive leisure and sports facilities such as a swimming pool and water park.

Very friendly staff, reasonable sized boat cabins and a great restaurant (with a 15% price reduction for those staying in the hotel).

If you can stay in a room on the second floor opposite the Margaret Island then the view will be stunningly beautiful both day and night, if not at least in the summer you can enjoy the same view from the deck of the boat where there is also a restaurant.
The standard room is comfortable, wardrobe, coffee table, fridge, bathroom with shower. Of course, consider that you are on a boat so the spaces are small but for sleeping is just fine.
Tv and air conditioning in the room, at least in theory. The TV occasionally going off and the air rather than out of a conditioner dusty was almost non-existent, that is to say that cooled the room is exaggerating, we kept burning perpetually for five days yet on hot days seemed to have at most a mini fan.
We only ate once at the restaurant and it was all good with great prices.
It's super close to the Parliament (to visit! ) and right there there's a metro station which made us move safely around the city.
If I were to recommend?
Yes, for the atmosphere that is created by staying on a boat, because you're in town and forget it and because although things didn't go we really relaxed.

It was clean and comfy and had a very good breakfast. Beer on back deck at night with a veiw sublime. Could be heading back in 2017

Nice boat hotel. Friendly staff and good food at the boat restaurant until 10pm. 5-8min walk from tram line 2 and 6 (Jászai Mari tér) which can take you to the most touristic sides on Pest… or take tram 6 to Buda crossing the bridge!

Nice place to stay for a change. Margaret bridge is 10 minute walk. The room in which I stayed, I could hear everything from next room. Were kind of smelly (coz everything is made of wood, is a ship basically turned into hotel). Breakfast was ok and ample. Staff was good too. However, the price made it all worth, 20 euros for double room including breakfast.

A hotel on a boat? That's so cool! Everything is better on a boat. It's not super central, but after all there is no river in the city center, so where should the boat hotel be? The boss looked a little grumpy at our backpacks, but it was very cheap, fantastic breakfast, and on a boat. Not many power-plugs on the room, but I guess that's okay on a boat.

A week spent in the hotels. Really don't usually spend the night right on the river. Cool views, delicious breakfasts, one would only come up with utreca on the deck was worth it. One minus is very small rooms, but this quickly privykaeš. Well, not much beats afford cheaper not found)
