We stayed for one night in a double room on the 3rd floor. The room was dark and very small even for two slim young people like us. There was no kettle inside the room even though it’s written in the hotel’s description on Agoda. There were also no slippers to wear to the hotel’s sauna and the hotel charges extra for the use of bathrobes; that’s just outrageous. Items in the minibar were 2 to 3 times more expensive than in regular bars; it’s simply better to go to a pub instead of taking anything from the minibar. The gym in the underground is a joke; there are two machines for running and that’s it. That cannot be called a gym. The receptionists were friendly and polite. The buffet breakfast was OK. Overall, we cannot rate this hotel with 4 stars and we would not stay there again.

Will never do business with this hotel. They are just pure greedy. I inadvertently purchased 2 rooms on a non refundable basis. I explained the situation to them ages ago but they wouldn't relent on it. I even offered to sell to them at far less than I'd paid. The booking was for today which is ideal for anyone wishing to go to the F1 Grand Prix. They have been sold out for months. This morning I gave them the rooms back. They sold them immediately but still refuse to give me anything of the £1200 back.

Nice hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious. The location is a bit far from the city center.

Good location. Clean and tidy. From the minus with the Vaifaem ambush. No Parking.

Close to train station. Big size room but bathroom is very small. Little bitte old fashioned hotel. Staff is very helpful, give us good guidelines about city. We have early morning train, so allowed us to take early breakfast.

For our 5-night trip to Budapeest we chose this hotel. We were completely satisfied!
The room was OK and the breakfast offered everything you need as a European.
The staff was friendly and accommodating.
The location is not perfect, but if you are walking you can walk to the Danube and explore all the sights.

Excellent hotel and the breakfasts are great. A relatively long walk from centre of Budapest but okay if you like a bike. Try the Thai restaurant just around the corner. Well worth it.

The young man at the front desk on the last day has ripped it out: an average hotel, room OK, bed, bedding, cleanliness, standard breakfast — all not opulent, but OK. Handicapped is different. The room was very small and the breakfast was very good. Price/performance = OK. The staff was usually more "reserved" to skeptical and rather annoyed than endeavors, except the young man on the day of departure. At last someone could super English, was friendly and accommodating, even joking came over his lips. So we left the hotel as a group of about 30 people still very reconciled.

I loved it. The hotel is 800mts from the Keleti station in Pest. The area is not nice but it is safe. You have to walk 20minuteis to get to the river and the most beautiful shopping area of Pest. The hotel is renovated. Our room was for two. The size was fine. Very clean and modern. With a floating floor and good heating and double glazing. Small but modern bathroom with hairdryer, extractor, etc. Very full breakfast with a variety of breads and croissants, cheeses and cold cuts, hot dishes (bacon, eggs, sausages, etc. ) juices fruits some vegetables etc. The staff were very helpful in advising us where to go and where to change money as in some cases they do not accept euros.

All very nice hotel small but with all the amenities, breakfast OK.

Friendly, helpful staff make up for an average hotel. No restaurant in the hotel with smallish rooms. In the UK this would be a 3 star hotel.

I'm here for the third time now. The hotel is very well located. Just a few minutes walk to the center and you're party district. If you know something, you can easily reach any hotspot in the city, through the many small lanes on the right and left. On foot, of course! But District 8 is boring…
The hotel is clean and the staff class. The rooms are very comfortable. Only the WLAN has time and again dropouts. But I will definitely come back!

I stayed there for 2 nights as I was in Budapest to see a concert in the nearby Erkel Színház.
I chose this hotel for its proximity to the theatre. The room was nice, with a TV (choice of channels in different languages), a minibar and an ensuite shower.
The hotel staff were very helpful and spoke good English. … I left my glasses in the room, the housekeeping staff found them and brought them to the reception just as I was checking out, so I am giving the hotel an extra star for that! I will consider using this hotel again if I need to use the nearby Keleti railway station or for an extended stay in Budapest.

Impressions of the hotel are twofold, having lived here with friends a week can say the following: Cleaning in the hotel on a hard 3 with minus, shampoo in the shower cabin for 4 days and did not finish, two times forgotten after cleaning to close the room (came, and the door is open, for the second time stated on Reception, apologized). Flows and strongly toilet, until you hold a few times the keys plum. The 4 star is not pulling even with the interference. The room was clean and the slippers was very clean. And so the same thing with the standard). To overpay there is no sense at all (on a note to future visitors). Breakfast was good. The choice is not big. The location is quite convenient. We wouldn't stop here again.

Really nice room (we booked a double bed and the bed was more like a queen size) with own shower, toilet and tv. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast is adequate with a range of products but if your vegan there isn't much there for you. There is a aldi opposite for snacks before walking to town to do the tourist stuff. And there are a few restaurants in the area and they have really good food. The hotel its self is situated in a slightly run down area but just don't be stupid and walk around by yourself. It is a capital city and like any capital city there is going to be mild saftey issues if your by yourself.

The reception staff, particularly Alexander, are exceptionally helpful, courteous and knowledgeable of the area & facilities. Excellent breakfast buffet and working air-con!

Very nice staff, spacious room. However a bit noisy during the night, as our room had windows towards nearby busy street. Ask for quiet room. Yeah, and to much A/C in the corridors and dining room, especially when you have a baby.

I don't know why it is listed as 4 stars hotel. It is not. The staff is nice, and the hotel is neat and clean but certainly doesn't look like 4. It's 3 at most.

Nice hotel, but I had just a small room. There is no hotel parking available. But you can leave your car for free until 8 a. M. On the streets.

Wonderful place to stay in Budapest. It is between two subway stops and many people do not like to walk, so the price is great at this property. Hungarian goulash around the corner. Friendly and helpful staff.

A chic and still family-run hotel in the heart of Budapest. Wonderful service (all staff spoke good English). Large, spacious, modern rooms, very clean and well maintained. Minibar, hair dryer, Wi-Fi (gets stuck sometimes something), TV — everything you need. Perfect location close to restaurants, bars, shops and the train station — and the hotel is very quiet yet. Extensive breakfast buffet, and if you must leave early, you must eat before the official breakfast time. Just a great hotel — we would always come back!
