The drainage in the shower was clogged and it was never fixed even though I askt about it. We were 3 in the room and could just take a 1 min shower. The interface in the reseption was hostile and hard to talk to most, not everyone same Were friendly I dint like that when I ask for a taxi the called always a freelance taxi instead of city taxi I liked the location and the room was good even though it was not well cleaned Breakfast was good.

Absolutely satisfied with the location, staffs and services. Not to forget the incredible range of breakfast food items. Amazing!

So I have to say this commentary has two sides: One is, that the Hotel itself is really OK, good value for Money, Breakfast nice with various food and drinks, helpful staff, parking garage etc. That being said, be sure to check your room, as there is a biiig construction site directly next to the Hotel, as status of August 2018, which for sure lasts until 2019 minimum. So I can only award three stars.

Overpriced and Overrated. STAY AWAY The rooms are very small and everything is old. I don't know how they have a 4 star rating. The bathroom is so small that the towels are hanged inside the shower cabin. There was a lot of rust as well in the bathroom. The pillows were thin and bad for sleeping. Also we had the worst breakfast, all the food was very low quality. The strawberry jam was grey… so I couldn't eat it.

There is no parking lot, so you have to pay 14 euro/ night. During the day you have to take it out. For sure this is not a 4 stars hotel, I would rate it as 2 stars with breakfast. Pro: room is pretty.

Great hotel and very good service.

While the location of this hotel was ideal for our stay we thought the staff at the reception were not very well versed in local knowledge. We also found the room shabby, and needed to call the maintenance team to replace the shower fitting, and the shower leaked all over the floor. On at least one occasion our towels were not replaced, while our laundry was left in the room uncollected. There was also no laundry price list in the room was stated in the room guide. After we left we received an extra cleaning invoice — something which I am currently disputing as it appears to be related with water issues in the bathroom. Not my most memorable hotel experience.

The rooms are functional and clean. The staff is nice and breakfast is plentiful. Public transport is within easy reach. Ideal for a city break.

Well-furnished Room, a bit small, but only intended to Stay overnight and relax in the Evening.
That is why it is quite sufficient.
The Breakfast was well stocked, all there to help you get excited for the Day.
All in all a good Hotel.

Very well located hotel, close to transportation and walking tours. The room was large and bright. Clean bathroom. The breakfast was OK. The reception was nice, I highly recommend.

Clean friendly hotel and central to all buses, trams and metro. If you're over 65 tram, bus and metro are free! Great saving when on holiday.

This is not 4 stars. Warm welcome. No car park 14 euro for a night.

Small friendly hotel. The rooms are very spacious. The staff speaks perfectly German. The breakfast is OK and you can even sit outside in the small courtyard. Everything very clean and still new.
We found the location excellent as you are quick to walk in the center. Otherwise it is also easy to reach by public transport. From the airport just use the 200ER bus and the Metro M3, the rest on foot. Perfect.

I did not like. I don't recommend it. I went with a group and I changed of room and moving my things without permission. Unacceptable!

To the hotel, is well located. The room was clean. Unfortunately, nothing is replenished. Bed linen was not changed in 7 days. Water should be available free of charge, as is normally the case with 2 bottles. As well as coffee and tea. This is also never replenished.
In the area cleaning the room is catching up.
There is a sauna and a small sun terrace available free of charge, which is pleasant. However, there is still a lot that can be improved. The shower in this area has the best time behind it. The rooms could be more pleasant. Also, it would not be bad if you would provide for this purpose bathrobe and towel.
The breakfast is OK.
On the whole, there is still air to the top.
Would not rate it with 4 stars. Sorry.

Not a hotel just as I describe it before ripped off by them or by booking I can't tell we found this hotel as I said on the booking… Decidedly we paid a higher figure 40 euros more… as I said before frigate staff is not at all polite for that figure the room is too small… flat pillows… mattress uncomfortable (back pain) chosen for staff who also speaks Italian… buggie.

Friendly, multilingual staff. The hotel is located in a side street in the centre. The rooms are clean. But there is no view of the situation. Breakfast is good standard.

Hotel very well located, spacious rooms, television with some French channels (minimum). Full breakfast But I'm not packed with their pastries.

Definitely not a 4* but a good 3* hotel Had a three nights' stay and would recommend it to be just a good 3* establishment. Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are reasonably clean and breakfast is adequate. Definite pluses are: tea/coffee making facilities, fridge and safe in the room, in addition there is a 'Buddy' you can use during your stay, electronic device, enabling you to find your way around as well as make free calls. We did not use this, as we were adequately equipped for our short stay. Would recommend this hotel as a reasonable and budget 3* hotel but it definitely isn't a 4*.

Nice Hotel with simple furnishings but equipped with all the comforts.
Compared to the Hungarian cleaning standards (seen in other hotels in Budapest), I can say that this hotel is Overclean!
Very central location, close to the Oktogon metro station, near Andrassy utca, one of the most fashionable streets of the city, 1 minute from Terez utca, full of eating venues, shops and supermarkets, 10 minutes walk from St. Stephen's Basilica, 15 minutes from Parliament and the Jewish quarter.
We from here walked around the city on foot (we love walking), the furthest attractions are a 35 minutes walk away.

This hotel is conveniently located an has a very nice breakfast buffet including champagne. The room was a nice size for me, the bed was comfortable and more importantly, since I traveled in the winter and it was cold, the heat worked well in my room. Also, the shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. The Wi-Fi was good too. Overall, nice stay, but they wouldn't honor a discounted rate when I wanted to extend my stay, so I didn't stay.

Courtesy, availability, cleanliness and comfortable in this tree you feel pampered and followed. The staff are friendly and always helpful. It is offered a great service, for those like us who are leaving for a weekend, the free luggage storage. The international breakfast satisfies every palate.

I was at Star inn for a whole week and I can only say nice words and recommend this hotel. The room was very new, quiet, with a big and comfortable bed, nice shower, good temperature, all very, very clean. The breakfast buffet was wonderful, and the staff was really friendly and helpful. Moreover, it is very well located, within walking distance to the city center, next to big avenues with lots of shops and restaurants. I felt very comfortable at the Star inn and I would love to come back in the future. Köszönöm!

I was well received, with a smile and with a very understandable English. The room was simple (but not Spartan either) and had all the necessary comforts. Correct bedding but I experienced better (more expensive too! ). Well-heated room (additional cover available). Very clean set. Buffet breakfast quite full, local pastries, as well as salted products including some of the vintage. Wide choice of tea.

It is really nice hotel very near to the Chain Bridge and all public transport is available close to the hotel like Metro, Tram and Bus service. Quality doesnt match with the price coz it's better. Breakfast can be better coz people do not hv time to cut slices of fruits.

I stayed for 4 nights. The place was very cozy, nice and clean! The staff are friendly and helpful. They also offer a well assorted breakfast. The hotel is quite central and it is just 2 steps from the Metro… In short a great place to stay if you are in Budapest.

Good location, nice hotel, receptionists were helpful. Breakfast limited but alright although they ran out of a lot. House keeping terrible didn't actually clean anything or provide clean glasses. This was a shame as the rooms were actually nice. On 5th floor no real view some depressing flats outside and the Wi-Fi only works in the lobby. Safe in room broken.

I was very disappointed, precisely because of the really good reviews. We arrived relatively late and on my question at the front desk whether we could get a 2bett room, they told us the beds are separable, right, however, under the beds, unfortunately, was not cleaned for a very long time, ranging from plaster to leftover food, it was Very disgusting. But the shock came in the morning, for one sticky soap residue on the shower doors and the Tiolette was similar to a station toilet, the glasses dirty everywhere pubic hair just disgusting. I asked reception to eliminate these grievances until the evening, well what should I say there was nothing cleaned. The receptionist told me there is no one more of the housekeeping there… I asked him if he believes in all seriousness that I clean, after that it was cleaned. So, breakfast well, thin coffee, cold tea water, old bread, very idiosyncratic selection (sour champions, old frenchtoast, etc) only the scrambled eggs are ok… conclusion, would not check in again at this hotel.

Surprised by this: in the room is a phone with the Internet, which you can and should carry with you. Calls both in the country and in Russia are free. You can shave yourself the Internet and be in touch constantly.

I was sorry for the staff. Friendly face to this disaster. How you can behaved as a guest is and remains a mystery to me. Alcohol is not a problem solver.

We halojamos there at the last minute the same day we arrived as we had another and the same day to arrive we were robbed and the Ajencia found us this and the truth a wonder we attended the principal because it knows perfectly Spanish we were eight days and were Muí attentive TA Nto at reception as the rest of the staff. Downtown to go to the sites of interest.

Hotel located in the area close to everything, so much so that I could visit the main destinations of the city in 4 without taking even a public means.
The street in which it is situated is a little run down and dark in the evening, but all in all nothing worrying;
The rooms are cozy and have everything you need, the staff is nice and helpful, someone parlucchia even a little ' Italian, breakfast is the usual international without infamy or praise, however discreet, what to say, if I go back to Budapest I will consider this little three star.

Very good hotel in Budapest. The staff are very friendly and not only gave me good tips for exploring the city, but even offered me an umbrella to borrow on a rainy day. I am otherwise only known to me from significantly more expensive accommodation.
The rooms are modern and have a good size. In addition, the location of the hotel is simply optimal. Quiet and central.
The breakfast was delicious and I even treated myself to a glass of sparkling wine once.
All this is just top in the price!

Clean, minimal decor, AC doesn't get cool, location to train station/ public transportation good (3 city blocks), underground huge mall even closer, as well as multiple sidewalk cafes! Breakfast included, and, they even packed a "to go" breakfast at 4a. M. For us! The desk clerks were extremely helpful, and very cordial. They also have a small bar "area". Would stay here again!

Omg… really! Do not stay here. I stayed at 3 different hotels in Budapest over the last month. One more expensive and one a less expensive. I don't expect much for $60 a night here, but it is horrible. Smells like urine (really bad, not just a bit) in hallways. Some staff are OK but Joseph is an idiot. He believes people staying here are not allowed to have a cup of ice. Literally said I will give you a couple of cubes only if you buy drink from me (as he stands in front of ice machine with 100 lbs of ice in it. Lol). Anyway, I will be complaing to Comfort Inn corporate.

Staff helpful one thing need to look at the basic toaster just 1 which takes forever to toast need to get more toasters or industrial one to manage the amount of people queuing to use in the mornings xx.
