The very (too) quiet atmosphere of the place at night (partygoers abstain)

No happy hour
Expensive alcohol and drink
Coffee not included in breakfast.
The noise of the road and tuk tuk every morning from 5.30am (this is the schedule in Guatemala).

In any case I recommend. We spent three nights there and we don't regret it at all.

Spectacular place to rest and relax after or before Tours around the island. The food is very good, the atmosphere is quiet and offers kayaking, paddle boarding, jet skiing, tubes and hammocks on the beach shore. Definitely the best place in Livingston.

The areas where you eat and rest, sea view, is super nice. The part where you sleep could be improved. There are no windows, but curtains that face directly to the outside. Also something to improve is dinner. You can't have dinner if you didn't reervsste before 18. One night we didn't make it in time to book and we ran out of dinner. They didn't want to make even a quesadilla or a sandwich. And I find this regrettable, too, because all the restaurants close early.

We had a perfect stay in Livingstone. Cool huts to stay in. Beds are oke. Food is comparing with the rest of Guatemala little expansive. View is fantastic. Swimming possibilities from the private pier. Shower and toilet are oke.

Great place to stay. Very peaceful and the rooms are very nice and clean. The staff is very nice and friendly. Enjoyed my stay there. Highly recommended. Would definitely stay there again!

Oh Casa Rosada thank you so much for the most tranquil and relaxing time. Your food is magnifico, your staff so kind and helpful. The tropical, enchanting bird life an absolute highlight. Even the few night storms a magical spectacle of nature. I so hope I can return some day. Mucho gusto to all

Beautiful place with very good vibes. The bungalows are simple but with touches of very good rustic taste. They have a ceiling fan and mosquito nets.

It is a hotel that is not bad at all, but I think I would explore also other options before repeating. I mean, the hotel quality-price is fine but there was more than one thing that could be better. What I liked most is that the bathrooms, which were shared, were very clean. The rooms were pretty good too and the location of the place. I didn't like it and I was quite annoyed that in booking they were offered as a beachfront place with private beach. There was no private beach. There was a pier with hammocks and with unbeatable views, but there was no beach, so that's a point to keep in mind. The water near the pier was very dirty and I think someone had to have cleaned the waste from the water, there were many plastics and believe me, you wouldn't want to bathe there. The food in the restaurant was good but the seafood prices were more than double that in the adjacent restaurants. Filling the water seemed quite expensive too (I think I remember it was 1.5 Euros fill a bottle of water when buying one in a store was even cheaper).

Or rather charming hotel… uncle Tom style boxes with shared toilets. (That didn't bother us) We're fine. The boss Super friendly (arranged our taxi when we arrived in Puerto Barrios). We feasted with the Bouillabesse of the tropics! (Topado) prepared by the House. Perfect.

I was delighted with the place, the pier, the view, the peace that is breathed, after renting the jet sky and turn it over… if it made the turn a little bit shorter than desired but not less interesting. We were photographing, singing with the ukulele, relaxing in the hammocks arranged on the pier. We also decided to swim in the calm waters of the shore and shallow, enjoying every moment of the experience. When it came time for lunch we decided to eat something, which left a bit of points to the place, as they did not have much available. We ate some quesadillas which were very tasty but took a long time to get there and we retiring satisfied with the place found. The people are very friendly and we were treated like kings. Something I do not like is that on the bank of the hotel there were dead fish, which to distrust the water and breathe a smell not very pleasant in the vicinity.

Love! It feels good at Casa Rosada. We slept in a nice hut, lulled by the sound of the waves, the wind in the curtains… perfect to rest and to ask the day. Pontoons with Hammock. Very good food and at a decent price! Very friendly staff Do not hesitate to book with them your trips and excursions.

A beautiful place run by people more than friendly, if the opportunity presented itself, I would definitely go back for a second!
