The hotel manager was very unhelpful when I had an issue with the bill. After staying at this hotel twice a year for the last 5 years. Her attitude was the last thing I expected to ever have to deal with at this hotel.

The Taste Restaurant Buffet have a variety selection of foods are awesome. The employees are all wonderful, friendly & very accommodating & service is very good.

Our aircon for the room was hot. It felt like it was only blowing out fan. It was even the night of our wedding day which was supposed to be memorable stay for us. We complained to the front desk and they did send someone over to take a look at our A/C for the room, but looks like nothing changed. I'm not going to lie, we did our reception here and it was a fun night with good food, but the only problem we had was our stay at the rooms. Over All, my experience, I give it a 2 due to the good service and good food at the ballroom. I dont think I would want to check in here again due to the rooms we're pricey and our experience staying in the rooms wasn't great at all. Also we requested for an Early Check in & Late Check out since we're staying for how many days just to do preparations but again we were given an hour early to check in and which we went there exactly an hour early, but still waited in the lobby for our room to be ready so we basically checked in the regular time which was super disappointing.

Poor customer service. Restaurants are over priced with sub par food and even worse service. Menu was not as advertised but the seafood pricing remained. Had hoped that the relaunch would change the overall experience for the better. Sadly, that was not the case.

Very clean resort. Friendly staff. Beautiful grounds. Excellent breakfast and fitness center. 10/10 highly recommend.

The Buffet was awesome. And oh man all the wait staff wer amazing they wer all very much friendly and wer there wen needed we didn't have to wait for someone to come to us they were already ther… SO YES THE WAIT STAFF DID A AWESOME JOB AND VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL STAFF. And also gerry canales who had invited us there for dinner… he was the bomb… lol… gosh words cant even explain how greatful we r to knoe and have him as a very special good family friend… we had a awesome time tonight qnd a very good and tasty dinner buffet @westin resort guam… i make sure to recommend people to go to the taste for any occasion… thank you very much…

Loved the big fluffy bed, big bathrooms with separate shower, pool, hot tub and beautiful sunset view. Differently recommend.

Great staff! Willing to help with anything! Room was clean and the pool is nice with a nice beach. There was no reservation for us when we got here but the front desk lady made sure we were taken care of.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Just some recommendations if I could. Executive suite that I stayed in could use some updating. Felt like 90’s decor. Also maybe a microwave.

Horrible customer service, check in process was a long drawn out ordeal, and charged twice for my room. Stayed here before and it was a great experience, just not the case this time!

We absolutely love Westin Resort Guam! The staff is very friendly anf helpful! The beds are extremely comfortable and it is perfectly located near shopping and restaurants! I would highly recommend this resort!

Absolutely nothing! The most overrated and over priced Sunday Brunch on the Tumon strip of hotels and they call themselves a Westin? Terrible service aim a buffet by a staff who could care less. Meats were dry and old and I was there at 1200! Seafood was freezer burnt and they did not even have the picks to to clear meat from the crab legs (Like Aqua at the Dusit Thani) in Tumon. Dessert was plentiful… with Flys and looked as if every kid put their hand thru every plate. Westin you should be ashamed to charge $55 per head for this poor showing of service.

Love this hotel. Situated in what used to be known as Blue Lagoon because of the beach and clear waters. Taste restaurant. Good people.

Classy Lobby with aerial views of the interior rooms. Perfect for sitting at the lobby and enjoying coffee or beer. Restaurant offerings are very good, from Italian to Japanese and their award winning lunch and dinner buffet offering. Rooms are spacious and clean.

Guam in general is a place I can live my whole life, beautiful, nice people, and this particularly hotel is just dream. Beautiful hotel, costumer services 5 stars. I will never forget that experience.

Pro:
1. Location is fine, close to town center by around 3-min walk.
2. Generally, service is good.
Cons:
1. Our shower room had a leaking problem since day 1 we lived in, and my 1-year-old daughter slipped in the bathroom and hit her head because of this.
Until day 5, last night of our stay, the problem was still there and they had checked it 3 times already.
Normally hotels should have suggested a room change but not this one.
2. Aged deco and room equipment.
We were really looking forward to coming to Westin as our first time to stay in the series, but eventually it turns out that we had more disappointment.

The hotel, of course, does not pull on 5 *, a maximum of 4, as apparently built long ago, in the rooms plumbing flowing, on the beach you can stumble upon the bottled glass ( ( (… but in general, everyone liked it, a separate beach, two Jacuzzis, pools.

The beach water is so clear and warm, and the hotel is located beautifully at the end of the beach at a great place for casual snorkelling. It's pleasant and beautiful place.

I like to go there when I want to go to the beach. I love their cafe. I usually stop there and get an earl grey iced tea and a slice of hazlenut cake. Actually, it has been a while since I got one… maybe they still have it. Any way, I always get the tea. I've never stayed there, but I did get the prenatal massage at Mandara Spa and it was great. I highly recommend it.

This resort hotel proved to be quite good. Checking in was a breeze, and I enjoyed all the workers I'd encountered in the hotel. The location is nice since it's on the main Tumon strip. The beach is pretty small, so expect it to be crowded during peak season. I really liked my spacious room. Their Heavenly Bed was indeed heavenly. I didn't encounter any high noisy level, so I was able to relax in my room each night I left this hotel as a fan of the Westin brand. If I return to Guam, and I want a luxurious place to stay, I'll return to Westin!

Had a department luncheon gathering at Taste. Staff and management (didn't get his name) awesome customer service and very helpful. Variety of food and it was Great. Co-workers had the crab but they didn't have enough of the cracker utensils to give more then 1 per table.

Hotel lobby is decent and staffs were friendly but I will not come back. 1. Our room key didn’t work due to technical issue after checking in so had to move up and down to get new ones. Not a great first impression. 2. There was disgusting food smudged on the carpet right in front of the bed when we finally got into the room. Never seen a branded hotel with such poor housekeeping. 3. When we came back after golfing on our second day at 4PM, exhausted, our room was still not made up and they said housekeeping can happen anytime until 5PM. Had to wait in the lobby for another 1hr. What is the point of paying for the room when we can’t use it? 4. There were literally 10 sunbeds by the pool, there is no chance for you to sit anywhere. 5. It was very loud at night people screaming at 11PM. Not willing to pay this much for such poor quality service.

We stayed at this hotel for two days over the weekend. The front desk and house keeping staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were large enough to accommodate two people. We had a partial ocean view but we could see half of the bay, sunset was the best time to be on the balcony. Will upgrade to get lounge access next visit.

This hotel has a good location to the beautiful white sandy beach, every room has a balcony with a nice ocean view (Great for Sunset viewing). Also, 5-10 minutes walking distance to nearby shopping arcade and downtown Tumon district. The staff are so helpful and nice. The hotel restaurant serves seafood and steak buffet every night which is worth to try. However, the furniture inside the room and some facilities in the hotel are quite old but acceptable for a short vacation.

Only visit Westin for the restaurant, Taste. Not sure how they have best "Brunch"… Not so great, other places on Guam have better Brunch Menu and service. For me personally attending for celebrations, I'd never bring myself back to eat here. Check Meskla, the Palm Cafe, Bistro, Sheraton and many others for a better "Brunch" experience.

Had Sunday brunch with my sisters and experienced the best service. The service was great. All of the waitstaff was attentive and pleasant. One of our servers Ms. Shenna, was so accommodating by providing us with the applications to become members. As a family we enjoyed our experience and look forward to our next family event to celebrate at Taste!

I have to say my stay at the Westin in Guam was not pleasant. When I first arrived I pulled up to the Valet parking and no one ever came to my car, I went in to look for someone and was told all the valet people were heading to the airport to park my car myself. The second thing is I called room service three different times and no one ever picked up. The third thing is at night after swimming all day we wanted to just watch TV the TV didn't work. The fourth and final thing is the maid only cleaned our room once in 3 days. The beach was great and so was the pool, but I would not stay here again.

Staff at the front desk was not very friendly. Our room was not ready at the 3 pm check in time, when asked to upgrade for the inconvenience, the staff delayed and stalled so house keeping could rush up and lean the room.
The electricity went out in our room for no reason and the toilet stopped flushing properly. Both issues maintenance was called and did show up in a fair amount of time. The air conditioner wasn't great, the room was warm and the directions to change temperature were in a foreign language.
Shower head had too much pressure and couldnt be adjusted — pressure or position. Resulted in having to stand against the glass while showering.
The food is incredibly over priced for the taste and portion size. As are drinks. Walk down the block to get better food.
The beds were fairly comfortable, though the pillows unfortunately were not.
We likely will not stay again. There are better hotels around the island with less problems.

I am disappointed. With the amount of money I paid the service was not all that. No one no one followed us to the room to explain how to use the remote that the card needs to be in the slot fir the air con to work, the amenities. The front desk did not even tell us if we were allowed to par take on the festivities that evening. Poor customer service. Because I am local no effort was made to make me feel like a special guest. I will never recommend anyone to stay in their hotel. To top it of our TV in the room had no sound at all. Only to find out on our last day that it was broken and they had to replace the tv. Best bed I've ever slept on in a hotel. This was worth the price. Wish we had chairs for balcony. But all the staff was amazing, the restaurants were good (over priced for sure but it's a resort) the spa was great, and the pool and beach access, well my husband and I planned to do a ton of touristy things but wound up living in the lounge chairs! I would definitely stay here again! Just be aware of the 100$ a day deposit Not always listed (depending on your booking site) on top of your room rate. And the hotel rate to shuttle u from airport was steep, was cheaper to rent a car and park for free.

We enjoyed the food at Taste. Had a really great time with family. Although, I have to say the service attendants could use a bit more training in Customer Service Etiquette.

It's not 5 stars worthy, but at least the price is worth the room.

The bed was disgusting! Stains on mattress, sheets and the under bed sheet. The headboard was also awful, no need to guess what the guests were doing on this bed! The bathroom was actually ok, hot water, crappy towels though. It was not very clean either! Air conditioning was good, you can hear the traffic outside through the windows! I will never stay in this hotel again! I would have checked out if I was staying longer! Also don't bank on the morning alarm call! Although you might get a call an hour later to check if you got the alarm call! Just pretty shoddy all round.

It may look a little old fashion but it's nice.

Beautiful and well kept hotel. Not a fan of the positioning of the building, which was their attempt to give everyone an "ocean view" but that's only true when you lean over your small balcony railing and crane your head in the direction of the shore. Right in the "downtown" area which makes it convenient for walking to all sorts of nearby places. Westin has an underground parking garage, which is convenient. MANDARA SPA is inside the Westin. The spa was the BEST MASSAGE EXPERIENCE I've ever had. Couple's massage… very serene, respectful, and high quality service. Thoroughly relaxing. Can't praise this place enough… HIGHLY RECOMMEND Mandara.

THE WORST! This hotel was absolutely repulsive. Covered in mold. Housekeeping skipped our room two days in a row. The beds are like rocks. Nasty carpets. They even surprised us with maintenance setting off the fire alarms at 6 am! The ONLY good thing about this hotel is the USO downstairs.

They have really nice meats and a variety of desserts to include awesome banana pie! Overall I would come again.

We ate at Taste, one of the Westin's buffet restaurants. Impressive selection of seafood. My nephew tore up a couple pounds of stone crab claws. I had a slipper lobster. I can even remember the last time I had slipper lobster. I guarantee 90% don't even know what slipper lobster is, but you can get it here. All you can drink wine and beer, Heineken at that. A little pricey but worth the awesome seafood selection.

I booked here because it was per friendly. I told the staff on the phone I have a 75 lbs dog. They didn't say anything about the weight limit on pets. I arrive here and a few days later I get my dig out of the kennel and the staff says I have to leave because of my dog. The staff's attitude changed the moment my dog arrived. I was lied to by the staff and treated horrible. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Right on the beach with great service and staff. Shuttles pick you up on the main road to take you to several areas around the island. The hotel has some nice gift shops, a good bar near the check in area and downstairs leading out to the pool is a restaurant and spa. Love staying at this hotel.

Excellent location, outstanding staff.

It may need a lick of paint here and there, but you will enjoy the resort stlye open atmosphere and the beach is absolutely amazing. The service is very good with all levels of staff very friendly. It is only a short walk to some very nice eateries (eggs and things is fantastic). Across the road are some nice convenient stores and there is a bus stop outside the hotel. Their shuttle is 25 dollars per person to the airport, so a taxi is best. A long island ice tea in a lounge on the beach at sunset is very relaxing.

Room Service food=Cold, overcooked, stale, likely reheated in most cases. How can you screw up a club sandwich and a cheese plate? Ugh. Dinner buffet= No better than room service. The only hot food was that which was cooked on the Hibachi in front of me. The other food selections on "hot plates" was all luke warm and tasteless and overcooked. $30 wasted. Workout room= Dysfunctional. They have a lot of great equipment that is high end but most of it is broken or not functioning correctly. If you are going to purchase high end ellipticals and tread mills, you have a responsibility to maintain them properly or they are of no value. The rooms were okay other than the mold on the sink and the stains on the carpet and upholstery. I was not happy with my bed. They use a flat sheet instead of a fitted sheet so I had the pleasure of waking up to a face full of mattress a few times (GROSS! ). There was also a plastic pad under the sheet which bunches up and makes the bed uncomfortable and hot. This hotel has obviously been refaced a few times and its age is apparent. Take pride in your hotel as it is the little things that make all the difference; even down to the burned out lights and unpolished tiles in the elevator. I did not feel like I was in a Westin world class hotel.

The breakfast buffet here was really nice — great food, not over-crowded or noisy, beautiful space, and even the music was excellent. Servers were on the ball, friendly, helpful, and took food service seriously — having great servers makes such a difference. The Westin breakfast is head-and-shoulders above the Marriott or Hilton on Tumon Bay in ambiance, food quality, and service. The difference between the Westin and its competitors was striking.

This is a clean hotel with better rooms than any resort I have stayed in. Very professional, so I would not recommend it for families unless your bank is just overflowing with cash. If you are cautious with money, don't take the $5 small Fiji bottles of water that are left in your room. This hotel is incredibly close to the best shopping location in Guam.

We stayed here for several nights as Royal Beach Club guests and we were very satisfied with the hotel, the facilities and amenities. The staff was friendly and service was excellent. Only two small issues to report, actually. One is not even something the Westin can help. That is that the Guam Reef hotel next door looks grubby. The other is that the breakfast buffet in the Royal Beach Club lounge is a bit limited. Some more things to choose from would be nice.
